Oh yeah, I remember San Fran being know for it's hills. I think Myth busters rolled a giant lego ball there just because of the slopes.
California's only nice because it's the spring, it gets freaking ridiculous in the summer.

Well, it's gotten into the hundreds quite a few times.

Hmm. I guess the humidity really wouldn't do them many favors either.

Too bad California is tropical like Hawaii.

Too bad? I think the weather's pretty nice for a vacation, though maybe not on a day-to-day basis.
A penny for your thoughts: Would you rather live somewhere notorious for their frigid winters or somewhere renowned for the heat?

I meant to say it wasn't tropical like Hawaii. Well, I live in the frigid winter area so I think some place hot would be a nice change. I don't know if I'd live there for a long time though.

I just hate really damp/humid weather, but I think if that's what it's going to take to get Chicago to finally warm up a little for once, I'll bear with it for now.
So.
How's life?

Pretty good, my only major concern right now is the AP test in may.
And a while back I was introduced to the game Settlers of Catan and now my brothers and I play it a lot.

Computer game or board game? I actually have the board game. I love pwning my brother at Settlers of Catan.
Only because he completely dominates at Risk. He has an affinity for dice. He must rig it somehow.

Board game, I'm not even going to try and play online. Do just you and your brother play together?
I dislike risk now, I used to not but it's just too frustrating.

I wasn't even sure if there was an online version, but I kind of took a shot in the dark, and I guess there is one xD
Yeah, just me and my brother. It just takes too long to explain things to my mom and dad, 'cause my brother and I like to make up rules and whatnot.
Plus they're never really engaged, so it's not as fun playing with them. With my brother, you're guaranteed intense competition.
I gave up on Risk a long time ago. I got pissed that my brother kept taking Europe away from me, no matter how hard I worked to reinforce it mad Even if I do get the random urge to play Risk, my brother now refuses to, because he knows I'm going to end up getting depressed/ticked off at him p:

I didn't think playing with two people would be fun, or as fun as if you had a third or fourth person.
My friends and I always end up making racist jokes while playing Risk.

*shrug* There's never been an occasion in the house where we ever had more than two people playing a board game.
Card games are a whole different story though.

That's too bad. Have you played Catan with any of your friends?
Is your family really into cards?
