i dont think u can sign up unless u already have but dont worry there's other things to do

Tahlly looked at the elder slytherin that spoke. "Sign up? What do you mean?" Tahlly was glad to be in slytherin but, as always, confused about things. Especially being her as a first year.

Bella smiled at Techpriest and Tahlly before slowly walking over to a large chair by the fire. Her feet dragged as she walked until her hands finally met the slightly furry upholstery; she collapsed tiredly in its arms with a large yawn.
Her eyes blurred before she wiped the moisture away, "I'm exhausted. I don't think I'd find time to sign up for class even if they allowed me too. Everyone seems to be pretty busy lately, I barely see anyone in the common room anymore."

Tahlly nodded and went near the fire place and sat down. "That is true. Everyone has been awfully busy. Tis a shame." Tahlly yawned and remembered when she was told she was a witch. Her parents decided to tell her when she was in her room listening to Evensence and trying out a new outfit she was going to wear in her "muggle" school. They thought it would be nice to keep this life alternating secret from her until it was..."time."How wrong they were.

Bella smiled softly, "I hope they wont be busy for very much longer," she began, "It'd be really nice to meet some new people and see their faces."
The fire glowed warmly on her arms, heating her up and causing memories from her mansion back in Surrey to come to mind. Bella always knew she was a witch, her parents had surrounded her in the most expensive of wizarding items since as long as she could remember. Her mother went to Beauxbatons and her father Hogwarts, a slytherin also. Bella smiled, she was glad she followed into the same house her father did, boy was he proud when he received the news.

Serithia slips in to the common room and sits down. Seeing new faces she raises a hand in a kind of wave saying "Hello, I'm Serithia. I've missed almost the whole fall term, how did it go?"

"Hello, my name's Bella. It's nice to meet you Serithia," she greeted pleasantly. "I'm actually new here so I couldn't really take part in any of the classes this term, hopefully I will in the next one though."

"Do any of you have ideas for Yule?" Serithia asks her housemates. "Lyra, a Ravenclaw, and I are heading a snowball fight, and Juni put out a masquerade with a Christmasy masquerade avi contest. It's coming along nicely so far, but the more minds thinking on it, the better it will be," she says.

"That sounds really fun, I'm looking forward to being able to participate. The ideas you have sound really great, but I'll brainstorm up a few more and let you know. I'm so excited for the holidays this year, I could really use a break," Bella said.

"Well, all lot of people are visiting before Christmas and I'm visiting others after. My holidays are rather social, with more than a few parties. It's all good fun though. You?"

"I actually don't think I'm going to be doing much over the break. I'll probably just be with my family and go to a few gatherings here and there. Maybe I'll read a little over the break; I really need to catch up in a few books."

"It sure does sound restful, I'm exhausted," Bella giggled with her reply. "I'll probably get a few things I asked for, I'm not expecting much though. I have my ideas about the gifts, but then again, my mother might give me a pair of socks instead of what I want. What about you? Do you have any speculation to what your presents are?"
