Khana was flat on the ground by the time Kay had her on her pack and she lifted her head just slightly to spit dirt out of her mouth and right at Kay's face. Which had purely been a tactic, not rudeness, for the right after she head butted the women squarely in the chest, and while it had hurt her own arm which had been held securely on the ground by Kay, it freed her other arm which Kay did not have a grip on. And she used that free arm to push up more as she head butted her. Khana had a hard head too, literally, it wasn't just her stubbornness.

When Khana's head made contact, Kay winced a bit as she felt one of her stitches pop. So much for avoiding Pinky's wrath... she thought as she took Khana's next blow Kay really didn't mind the blows, pain just reminded her that she was still alive to fight. Twisting the arm Kay had firmly in a vice grip, she slapped Khana across the face to ward off another head butt before securing her other arm. "Sure you don't want to give up?" she asked, smiling as she squeezed Khana's ribs with her legs to push the breath out of Khana.

[[wow... seriously? Is everyone waiting on me, or is there just not much to do for the moment?]]

Khana was about ready to give up- just one last try! Held as she was there wasn't a lot of movement available to her, and she had found the slap annoying if nothing else.
This time she brought her head up as much as she could, not threateningly, so Kay would not think at least that part an attack, and then through her head back- throwing her body back a bit. She had used her feet somewhat too, and used the movement to bring her knee's up... despite all Kay's strength, she wasn't that heavy... to throw her off, or at least give Khana some leverage to move her arms or legs.

Kay flet Khana's movement at the last second. She acted on pure instinct, otherwise she wouldn't have had time to react. Kay twisted her body and squeezed Khana with her legs, using her grip on Khana's arm to twist both of them into a kind of preztal. Where Khana's head could no longer reach her.

[[I'm sure that would be entertaining for Luke to watch xd ]]

Khana was really really uncomfortable by then, to put it mildly, but what Kay had done actually worked for her. She grinned despite her position and struck with the arm that had previously been trapped under her right to Kay's stomach, with the fingers of her hand closed like a spear.

Kay took Khana's blow, she didn't want to completely destroys Khana's idea of being a good fighter. As soon as Khana's 'speared' attack hit her though, Kay grabbed Khana's wrist and twisted it around.

Khana winced from the way her wrist was twisted, and laughed, breathing heavily, "Heh, you got me, I give" she said, relaxing her muscles so that she would fall back when Kay released her. With both her wrists held and twisted awkwardly, and her legs secured, and her body bent like that, she really couldn't do anything. She wasn't disappointed though, she was only human after all, and Kay was not only anything, she was much more. So, Khana thought she did rather well, not giving up until every possibility had been tried.

Luke watched, thoroughly entertained by the fast paced fight between Khana and Kay. He was proud of Khana though, even in her defeat, which had been inevitable, she had fought as much as she could. And even after, she laughed, rather then getting angry or depressed. He smiled, but still did not show himself. He wanted to talk to her alone, after Kay left, if he could.

Kay laughed and released Khana. But she didn't let her fall to the ground, instead she grabbed Khana's wrist and pulled her onto her feet. To bad that buzzing in her skull wasn't going away. "Well I'm going to get these drunkards back to camp for Bubbles to take care of... I think someone wants to talk to you." Kay whispered the last part as she patted Khana on the arm. "Yell if you need anything. I'm always close by." she said the last part as more of a warning to Luke, who she knew was listening. "And for the record I don't like being watched by creepy guys in the bushes."

Luke sighed, Kay just had to do that, didn't she? He had wanted to surprise Khana, but now that was ruined. It would have been better that way, let her feel his skin, which felt probably the opposite of what she expected. The normal zombies were like that after all. He didn't want her to be so afraid of him. Although, finding someone "alive" after shooting them in the head yourself, especially under the circumstances, is quite a shock... he knew that.
He walked to the edge of the clearing, where he was visible to both of them.

Khana was first slightly confused when Kay said someone wanted to talk to her, but then she froze, realizing who instantly after. She had forgotten for a few moments, the fight had done her good. Had he been watching them the whole time?
She stood from where she was, and herd him come to the clearing, but he had entered from the opposite side of her, her back to him. She didn't move at first. She was acting stupid, she knew it, very childish... He probably wouldn't say much until Kay was out of hearing distance... and Khana would listen, she had to.

"Come on then." Kay stated, hefting one of the very drunk giggling girls to her feet as she picked the other one up. "I think Bubbles would like to have a little chat with ya." she added, moving toward camp. Kay paused and turned back to Khana. "Try and keep an open mind and an even quicker gun." she offered these words as she turned back and pratically dragged the two girls to camp.

Luke didn't let the silence go to long, "Khana... I know what your probably thinking, but I'm not like the others, much more alive for one thing, I'm warm..." he trailed off, waiting for her to say something, she didn't so he continued, "I'm really more like Kay, then like a zombie, but not the same exactly." He tried explaining to her. "Just let me..." he reached out with his hand to rest it on her shoulder and she didn't stop him this time even though she was really tense.

Even though she had tried to be ready, Khana hadn't really believed him, and jumped in surprise when his oddly warm hand touched her shoulder where it was bare. It felt good actually... too warm even for human skin, the exact opposite of what she had expected.
"I'm sorry, I know I've been stupid..." she mumbled, letting him keep his hand there, but still not looking at him. His hand traced up her neck and her face and he stepped closer when she didn't try to pull away putting his other arm around her,
"It's ok..." she herd him say, and she closed her eyes, just feeling his touch on her skin, it felt so unreal, but in a good way.

Kimmi couldn't muffle the scream that escaped her as she woke violently from her nightmare. Cold sweat had broken out and she was shaking horribly. She shoved out of her tent and raced to the edge of the trucks. As soon as she cleared them she fell to her hands and knees and threw up in the sand. She gulped a couple breaths of cold night air and clumsily shoved sand over where she had been sick. For once she didn't care if the others saw what shape happy and bright little Kimmi was really in, she had felt the breakdown coming. Secretly she had hoped that being herself around Lucas would push it off somehow, keep it at bay. The nightmare had squashed that idea. She shoved away from where she still knelt and pushed to her feet. Making it to lift she realized she was sobbing She let herself collapse on the lift, feeling like she was far enough from the camp to let herself have her little melt down. She slammed her palm on the button and curled up against the fencing with her legs curled against her chest. Once the lift hit the bottom she let herself fall over on her side and simply stayed there.

After finally dumping the drink giggles off with Bubbles, she sighed heavily. Turning she figured she'd take a walk, delay when exactly she was mauled and dragged back to camp. When Kay reached the cliff edge she noticed that the lift was down. Raising an eyebrow she leaned farther out and noticed someone laying on their side at the bottom... Someone with pink hair. With out hesitation Kay leaped off the edge and pulled out her broadsword. Using its side as a sort of impromptu zip line. As her feet hit the ground, Kay dashed over to Pinky. Seeing that Pinky was crying she knelt down and sat Pinky up, her arms around the girl to hold her up. "Hey.... its okay...."

Kimmi shook her head, but couldn't stop. She had let herself have her break down and now it was too late to stop it. She knew it was wrong to keep lying to them, putting them in danger. She didn't want them to hate her though, she wasn't ready to tell them who she really was yet, or what she was doing with Lucas. Instead of shoving Kay away she clung to the woman and cried, knowing Kay probably wouldn't want anything to with her once she found out it part of her own dna had helped maker what she was.
