Darius started to walk while leaning on Jess. He listened to the proposal she was suggesting. He then began to think about it, the androids would be unpleasent but he thought he could probably find a way to get past them, but then again he was pretty weak or he could trust Jess into getting Lily out of her dorm and they could talk, but then again, if she had really done all the things shehad said then would Lily even come out?
"I say we wait on this Jess... I'll deside when we get to the dorms..."

Jess nodded. "Fair enough...." She and Darius kept walking, and even though she knew it was wrong she was extremely happy to be so close to Darius. He was so handsome....she knew Lily was a truly lucky girl. She smiled and kept walking through the forest slowly but surely they made it to the edge of the forest. "The dorms and just beyond the trees here." Jess said to Darius

Lily walked quietly into the forest holding hands with Darius, wondering what the Ancient Forest had to do with his wings, still she trusted him and followed him there. "So.....where do we go?" Lily asked looking around. Last time they were here they were going to go across the gorge, but their plans were foiled by Jess, and Darth.

"Well, since we didn't make it across the first time," he started, "Let's finally go across the gorge."
He chuckled at that last comment and led Lily to the gorge. He looked down at the mud and smiled. It always seemed to rain earlier, when they went into the forest, it almost seemed like the mud found them to be friends and always invited them to find a way in and stay a while. This time was not the case though, or at least Darius hoped not.
"This way Lily," Darius said taking a right to where he had created that bridge yesterday.

Lily smiled and followed him slowly to the tree that Darius had layed across the gorge just yesterday. Looking at the mud LIly realized that Darius had put the tree over what looked like a very muddy and very deep part of the gorge. "We'd better be careful- It'd be bad to fall into there." With that Lily got on the tree and walked calmly but quickly across the tree and then jumped off and turned waiting for Darius to take his turn.

Darius nodded his head and watched Lily cross the log with realative ease. He then took a slow but sturdy step onto the log. He then took another step onto the log and now. He began to cross the bridge with small slow steps. He didn't wish to look down, that's what the mud would want, then it would await for the enevitable. Darius continued to walk slowly, he neared the end of the log. Darius was in arm's distance of Lily. Then, Darius stepped onto a patch of wet moss, he started to slip, he waved his arms trying to balance himself he grabbed onto Lily and was actually starting to pull her forewards, not realizing what might happen in a few seconds.

Lily watched patiently as Darius crossed the log, but as he reached the end he started slipping and Lily grabbed unto him as he grabbed unto her. "Not this time." She muttered to herself as she dug her heels into the ground and held on tight trying to stop what she was pretty sure would come anyway. Even as she tried to pull him back up she could feel her heels slowly, slowly moving closer and closer to the edge of the gorge....

Darius was holding on and still pulling Lily as hard as he could, for once he would love to stay somewhat clean around here! He heard that it would be unpleasent .
If it could, the mud would be grinning right now, it's two favourite people were coming closer to him and it would be ready. The rain made it very sticky mud to begin with, and it was at least neck deep, but even it didn't know if that was true, the suctuion would make it so that you would be stuck for a while in there, and the cliff faces were in bad shape so it would be hard to climb, but easy to fall back in. So the mud waited.

Lily kept on sliding slowly but surely towards the edge, she knew that Darius didn't want to fall in and neither did she. They were on a mission and it was not to get muddy! She pulled as hard and she could but to no avial- then she thought of something she hadn't before......"Darius! Just use your wings!" Why hadn't she thought of that before? How easy would that have been??

The lightbulb went on in Darius's head he was about to flap his wings and get out of there, but it was too late. Darius and Lily went down to the muck below with a large squelch and a muddy splash that would cover both of there faces in mud.
Darius opened his eyes to see, well, that he could barely see. He was going to move his arms out to wipe his eyes, but, to his surprise, they wouldn't move. He was about to look down when his face connected with a fresh batch of mud. He quickly pulled his head up and blinked out as much mud as he could.
Yes, Darius was up to his neck in mud, literaly. He also saw that Lily was in the same position he was and she was only about a foot away.
"Uh...hehheh...well this is a problem," Darius said to Lily sheepishly, wondering if Lily was mad or not.

Lily sighed as she saw Darius try to fly but fall into the mud. She of course, came tumbling after, and straight into the mud. She realized just how much taller Darius was than she when they fell into the mud fore her mouth was covered in mud and she had to strech her neck as high as it coud possibly go in order to speak to him. She of course, was not really mad about it, but more concerned about how they were going to get out of this one. "So how are we going to get out of this one?" She asked in a strained voice since she had to strech her neck so far to not swallow mud as she spoke.

Darius gave her a hopeless look, "I have no idea," he said in an amused tone of voice, "I can't move and I can see you're having as much luck as I am."
Darius tried to move some more to no avail. The mud had won today and if it had emotions it would be happy. Darius looked around and saw that it would be just as bad trying to get up after they got out of the muck.
"So while we try to get out...what shall we do?" Darius asked in a casual mannor.

Lily laughed lightly at their situation since she couldn't move at all no matter how hard she tried. "Well I dunno we can do whatever, afterall it could take quite awhile to get out of this......" She said still trying desperatly to even make a small movement with her hands or feet. "Darius?" She said quietly to him, realizing that she hadn't told him the ending of her story when they were in the dorms. "I'm a runaway slave. Technically I still belong to someone--someone you've seen."

Darius had tryed to move around more but he could only wiggle his fingers and toes. He then looked at Lily and smilled.
"Yeah it will take a while..."
"I'm a runaway slave. Technically I still belong to someone--someone you've seen."
Darius looked at her, eyebrows raised. Someone he had seen before, who could that possibly be? He and Lily normally kept to themselves so he wasn't sure who that could be. Then a lightbulb clicked and he looked at Lily with a shocked look.
"Don't tell me, it's that guy who attacked you...right?"

Lily looked at him very seriously. "Darth? No, oh no, Liz- when she was liz- had fallen in love with Darth, but me, I was never part of Liz's life growing up, I met Darth a few times and we became instant friends, but like I said I was Paul's before he died and he left everything he owned- including me- to his best friend Kyle." Lily was very unsure as to weather Darius would remember Kyle or not but Kyle was the man who at the hotsprings- put a knife through her stomache.
