((Yeah, sorry about that, Goosey. I misunderstood your last post. I thought Tess had already left for his room. And my writer's block didn't help. Nor did Sam's sudden emo-ness. sweatdrop

We'll do lunch.))

Marie made her away across the lawn, pulling at her sweater's sleeves to enclose her small hands in warmth in the drizzly morning. Her has down half way, simply braided at the very bottom loosly to gather it up at her lower back.

Spotting Logan as she walked, she back tracked towards him. "Good morning," Marie stated while observing his features. "Are you alright? You don't look too well. From her point of view, Logan's eyes either looked darker, of the skin around them was paler, since she couldn't observe his entire face.

Logan spotted Marie backtracking to him, and he smiled lightly. "Morning." he murmured in response to her greeting. He was close to sneezing when she inquired on his health, and he held up a finger as he pulled off his mask and sneezed into his sleeve. "Just peachy." he murmured as a smiled response, though he was coming to terms with some of his symptoms as he pulled his mask back on.

"Did you sleep well? It was pretty quiet last night after the power came back on. I think they kept the AC on afterward, though..."

"Mmhmm... I slept well, thank you," Marie answered as they entered the cafeteria.

Marie got in line for food, making a plate a fruit and a bowl of cereal. She also grabbed some packets of honey to give Logan to put in his tea. She sort of blushed at the thought and made her way to they're normal table in her normal seat, Wiating for Logan to perhaps join her.

Logan held the door open for Marie as they entered the cafeteria, and followed her to the line after putting the umbrella in its' place. He got a bowl of oatmeal, some rashers, and a few pieces of toast along with his (unsurprisingly) usual cup of tea. He groaned and nearly dropped his tray when he sneezed again into his mask, and he found his way to Marie after retrieving his breakfast.

"Things seem to be a bit warmer, this morning. Indoors, at least." Logan commented, pulling off his face mask to clean it out a bit with a clean napkin, making a bit of a face. He also, while politely turning to the side, blew his nose which was beginning to run. "Do you think anything interesting will happen today with the staff or weather?"

"Most likely the staff. The weather looks sort of harmless so far, but I could be wrong." Marie had slid over a bit while Logan had turned to blow his nose and began opening honey packets to put in his tea for him. "You're not allergic to honey, are you? Tea with honey is a good remedy for sour throats... I noticed your voice was a little off..." Marie tried to explain herself.

"Its seems to be you that has gotten sick from yesterday, instead of me."

Well that was the most obvious ton of bricks. Logan blinked at Marie for a moment before he shook his head. "No... I'm not allergic." he mumbled. He then rested a gloved hand against his forehead and sighed heavily. Sore throat, runny nose, sneezing, sore throat, headache... well, he could just as easily count the headache out. And he was still rather tired, kind of feeling warm... "It's been ages since I've had a cold..." he mumbled to himself, feeling foolish.

"I do like honey in my tea, every so often... But I didn't know it helped with sore throats." he mumbled, watching her work. His cheeks felt a little extra warm when he blushed. "I was going to go to the medical facility, anyways, to check up on my headaches and such. Maybe they'll have something for this, too."

"Its a vocal thing," Marie shrugged about the honey remedy. "I know a really strong remedy tea, but it taste super nasty. You don't have to preform, so we don't need that extent of cure. Its not worth it for a normal cold," Marie joked and finished adding what she thought was a good amount of honey, though their were extra packets left incase he wanted more.

"I'm sure that the medical facility will have many ways to help you. But its still defiante you should take it easy tonight..." Marie thought about the complications with the date. "Should we rain check for you? About tonight, I mean." Marie asked.

Sam's head dipped down suddenly, rousing the young man from his slumber. He opened his eyes, immediately noting that he was not in a dormitory room. I must not have made it to my door, he thought blandly. The Empath was correct. He had fallen asleep sitting against the wall across from the building's entryway. Lord... Why didn't the receptionist say anything? I'm pretty sure it's against the rules to snooze in the hall.

Sam stood up slowly, a bit unsteady from his position. "No matter," he said. "I should probably get to the cafeteria. I'll change after breakfast." with that, the violet-locked teen picked up his umbrella (which was placed just to the left of his sleeping spot) and headed out into the light rain. Though it was barely falling, he still chose to shield himself. "No sense tempting fate," he added, speaking only to the air around him.

When he reached the cafeteria, Sam folded up the umbrella and wasted no time getting food (in this case, a large Belgian waffle, butter, and maple syrup). He didn't feel like eating anything more complicated than that. The Empath scanned the tables to find a suitable place to part, and caught sight of Marie adding honey to Logan's tea. Must have caught a cold, poor guy.

Sam chose their location as his destined spot. "Good morning," he said quietly. "I hope you two don't mind if I join you."

((Whoa! How did I manage this post? I surprised myself.))

(( It's either Wednesday or Thursday.... dance isn't until Friday. Unless we want to do a nifty timeskip to Friday... ))

Logan made a bit of a face. "I wouldn't probably want to try it, even if I had a bad cold." he smiled a little and stirred the tea when she was done, before sipping at it. It was rather sweat, but not unbearable. "I'll check with the medical facility and see what they say. I hope I don't have to skip class, though."

Logan glanced up as Sam headed over, and he shook his head a little. "It's okay." he murmured as he took another sip of his tea. A bit of a sneeze was issued soon after, and he buried his face into his sleeve. "At least it isn't raining so bad." he offered to Marie lightly. "We might get to see the sun sometime today..." He smiled a bit to her before turning to his breakfast as his stomach growled lowly.

((Yikes. Apologies.))

Will blinked. There was someone in his roommate's bed, and that someone, presumably his roommate was looking at him. Ears, doggy ears... the musician thought. He grinned slightly. "You, of course!... though I wouldn't call it staring." The boy shrugged. So, his roommate was visibly a mutant. It could be interesting. "I don't believe we've met, sleepyhead." He nodded at Tess. "I'm Will DeScythe."

(( what are you apologizing for? .-. ))

Tess grunted and didn't say anything for a while. Finally, he shifted and got up, yawning and stretching to his full height- at least as much as the room ceiling would let him. "First off, you were staring 'cause you weren't looking away, even when I commented on it. Second, don't call me sleepyhead." he scratched his furry stomach for a moment, before heading past his room mate into the bathroom. "Don't annoy me, and you might be able to sleep comfortably at night. The name's Tess." he grunted, then closed the door behind him to go through his morning routine.

Huilliame walked into the cafeteria for breakfast. He had spent the last night working on his pre assignment work for chemistry, writing up an operating procedure. He was bleary eyed and his skin had a washed out, grey tone to it, kind of similar to a corpse. He remembered that he had to find Candice a date and cursed, getting a breakfast of pancakes, bacon and sausages. It wasnt as bad out today and he was in his usual short sleeved shirt and jacket.

Candice slammed a tray full of fruit down across from Hulliame and sat down with an annoyed face. She yawned and rubbed her eyes, she seemed to be wearing a school uniform, even though they didn't have one which was the strange part. "Good morning," Candice said in a somewhat tired voice her hair was really great today but her eyes had shadows under them and she didn't seem to be in that good of a mood. "Hulliame." She murmured before biting into an apple, she had been up all night talking to her friends from back home and writing a letter to her mother and father.

"You okay there? You look beat." Huilliame said looking over at Candice. He stopped eating for a few seconds and offered her his mug of coffee. She looked like she needed it a lot more. He looked around the cafeteria and sighed. People coming and going were getting on his nerves. He wondered where Aki was and then thought "Well this may not really matter, but you do know theres no uniform here right?"
