Vlad runs a hand along Maries side from her hip bone to her top rib, "I think if he comes back I'll allow him to continue being a guard, but not the princess's personal guard. Spending some time apart will give them time to determine if it's true love or just the flings of the young. If they still want to be together I'll talk to the king. He's the only one who can condone this. Right now he still doesn't know about any of this."

Vlad kisses the top of Marie's head. Someone knocks on the door, "Sir, you asked to be awoken at this hour."
Vlad smiles, "I'll be right out." He looks at Marie, "I asked someone to come by, in case for some reason I didn't want to leave bed."

Marie slightly pouted and she hugged Vlad. She suddenly jumped and Marie had the same vision again. Vlad with blood on his hands. Closing her eyes tighter she clung to Vlad.
