((Okay, since I finally started checking everything more regularly, I'm going to reset this thread to a new day. I'm so, so, so sorry for disappearing forever.
Basic run-down of where everyoe is/what they're doing, since I'm too lazy at this particular moment to do it in detail . . .))
Suru is sitting out on the back porch and working on his new chapter.
Canti is in her room, listening to Malice Mizer and drawing.
Tessie is working in the little patch of actual green garden in the back yard.

Lacuna gathered her nerve, knowing that this wasn't going to be any easier than Jakkin. She sighed and with a deep breath, knocked ont he door three times and waited patiently.

Suru was stretching, lazily, in the back of the house when there was a knock on the door. He yawned, lazily, standing to go to the door. He pulled it open, and smiled broadly, seeing Lacuna there.
"Hullo, Beauty. Haven't seen you in a while. Where the Beast?" he asked playfully, half-excecting JAk to be tagging along with her.

"I've told Jakkin everything", she said, feeling rage build inside of her.

"I mean I told him how "our" relationship came to be. How I just wanted Jakkin.. and how we schemed a plan in order for tha to happen, but you fell inlove with him", Lacuna felt her body tired and weak, almost ready to collapse from physical wear.

For the longest moment, he stared at her, face blank and confused. Then, after a moment, he laughed. Softly. It grew, slowly, until he had to lean against the wall, a hand to his eyes, the other wrapped around his ribs. It lasted a long few moments before tapering off and he dropped his hand. His eyes and cheeks were streaked with tears.
"I . . . ." he started, and chuckled a gain, softly, sniffling and wiping the heel of his hand acrosshis left cheek, "I'm . . . . I'm so tired of having to fight you for you. I'd fight everyone else in the world, ANYONE else in the world, for you two. But I'm tired of fighting with YOU for you."
He pushed off the wall, taking a deep, heavy breath, ragged, rattling in his chest. He had a twisted, dark smile on his face, looking at her with a mix of pain and anger, and regret.
"Get out, Lacuna."

Lacuna stood for a moment with a look of confusion on her face. She felt her knees weak and her eyes swelling with a rush of tears that she couldn't help.
"I.. I don't.. I don't understand Suru.. I thought that this whole.. that this whole time..", Lacuna felt her heart drop and sik into the pit of her stomach and as she tried to pull herself together felt her knees collapse below her. Lacuna buried her face into her palms and cried miserabley.
"You mean this whole time.. I've.. been.... ..........wrong...?", she whimpered through deep heavy breaths.

He closed his eyes, slowly, shuddering, turning to face the wall.
"I said . . . GET OUT."
With the final two words, he threw his fist into the wall next to his face, gritting his teeth. The wood under his fist crackled and bowed in, scraping his fist. He sighed softly, more tears coming as he murmured, softly, featherlight,
"look what you made me do . . . . just leave before I hurt something worth a lot more."

"I made you do nothing..!!!", she screamed angerily at the accusation. "Am I suppose to be AFRAID of you Suru? Do you threaten me?! I feel that it's pretty obvious that you never loved me..", with that said Lacuna pulled herself up and sighed looking in Suru's direction.
"I don't know why you have to act like this is my fault and that I have deceived you both, if anyone has deceived anyone it's you deceiving yourself Suru...", she muttered these last words before swinging the door infront of her open and slamming it shut behind her.
Lacuna used the door as a support for a second before sliding down in a fetal position and holding her throbbing head in her palms. Lacuna thought for a moment before conversating with herself,
"I know I'm right.. You're right.. You've told the truth as you've felt it Lacuna, girl.."
"No, you're all alone now and tired.. No one will want you anymore, look at you, you're pathetic. Can't even keep yourself together enough to think properly"
"Don't be silly.. you've never felt things were right with the three of you. You finally spoke your mind Lacuna, it's okay."
"You ruined the only good thing in your life, you're worthless.."

He threw his bleeding fist into the metal door, not doing any damage, but producing a sick, crackling noise from the bones in his hands. He stood still for a long, long moment before exhaling, long and slow, before pushing away from the door and padding, slowly, stimbling, out the back door, and out through the yard into the woods.
Tessie looked up and blinked, blushing softly and calling after her big brother. He didn't answer and she whined softly, going back to working at the garden, not nearly as contentedly and suddenly very, very worried.

Suru pushed in through the front door, still clinging to Jak, tenderly. Upstairs, Canti and Tessie heard him come in and hurried down the stairs. Canti squeaked and ran over to hug him, enthusiastically. Tessie hung back, nervously, still a little shy.
"What happened?" Canti wailed, burying her face in her brother's chest, "We've been so worried! You were gone for so long!"
Suru hugged her gently, laying his cheek on her hair, smiling out at Tessie gently.
"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to scare you. I've just been . . . out with Jak."

Jak laid a hand gently on Canti's hair, brushing her cheek with a light kiss. With a gentle smile to Tessie, he pulled away from the pair. "I'll be right back love," he murmured softly before turning to the kitchen to use the phone.
