Chisa: No problem Chisa, and I hope you did fix it.

Kelli: Biggest issue there is I have no idea what Mama and my cousin due to keep him calm, or what. Hell...with the way are jobs are working out, I don't get to see Mama unless she is dropping off Little Sir. He is teething though, so I know some of it is due to the pain.

Last night I did everything that I knew he liked on top of the things that I know needed to be done. Changed him, put Oragel on his gums, talked to him, played with his toys with him, let him watch TV, carry him around the house, let him look out his window, feed him, ect. He just kept screaming. It wasn't till about 8:10-8:20pm that he finally calmed down enough to eat without trying to choke himself. After eating and burping he fell right to sleep as well, so I never did figure out why he was crying aside the fact that he hates me.

-picks up Chisa-chan and places her on his shoulder and carries her away from Kelli-chan- Now now...lets be nice and let Kelli roam around.

I'm telling you.
Shaking him is the way to go.

If I was trying to kill him, I'd say something like... Feeding it hot sauce. Or something equally mean.

Why would you want to violently shake Will's child? That's not nice.

Will | Ah, I see. Then he definitely doesn't hate you. He hates those bones forcing their way out of his gums. ;3 Teething is the worst! I've dealt with four instances of first time teether's and they don't want to be pacified. And even if this isn't his first it's never easy but he'll recognize it and be more eager for things that have soothed it before. The only solution is to first be sure to ease the pain. Orajel is great along with a gum massage. Running cold water, ideally some of his baby water if that's what you use, on a soft towel and letting him suck on that can help. If possible you can freeze his baby water in the form of a popsicle or whatever water he uses and run that over his gums inside of the towel. That would keep him from getting too cod while still being able to slowly numb his gums and ease the pain. Anything that can be a distraction from pain but not something that provokes frustration can help too. But it's a fine line. Teething rings and soft but firm toys are nice for him to teethe on but if the pain bothers him enough he'll get frustrated with them and not want them after a while. Hm. Its like if you have a toothache. Sleep makes the pain disappear until you wake up after the medicine wears off.

Just about anything can frustrate you especially if you compare it to times when you have a toothache. And screaming in pain relieves pain for some reason. Unless you soothe or put him to sleep he'll just want to cry because it hurts. So as long as it's not his in horrible pain cry, sometimes you can just let them get the frustration out. But you still have to comfort him or he'll be like, "You don't care about my pain~!". If he's had the Orajel put on and you've massaged him and tended to his needs, then give him a warmth bath and bottle before putting him to sleep. He might still cry or whimper but he'll feel better after he goes to sleep. It seems like he's just really frustrated from teething if he just cries and cries after you've tried so many things. It sounds a lot like a frustrated cry since he did eventually stop after a long time and went to sleep. So it's just one of those things. -pats shoulders- Ha ha. It's like this: Think of the pain of having a wisdom tooth coming in and maybe, just maybe, dial it back a little. Now think of that being the first true pain you've felt that you can't compare to like a broken arm or stubbing your toe or something. He's just pissed as hell and wondering who or what it doing that to him. 3nodding

Well my mom rejected my offer to help because she has my aunt and grandmother with her. So I'll be here for a little while since I don't feel like going back home yet. There's no one home and the internet here is better so yeah.
