He only chuckled lightly and let her go, hefting out her books from a servant and going over them with a fine tooth comb, making sure all the sales and additions were correct. Jacob handled his own books, but he also knew that Jacob like to skim here and there to make some money for himself for certain habits of his. While personally he didn't get why a human would opt to by human whiskey whe nthere was fine elven wines available, but to each his own.
Though so far everything was going fine, and a raised eyebrow when he noticed a particular name that still owed money. well...that was something. that boy was starting to get a little more comfortable with the elven side of things it appeared, opting for a fine Zephmare over a cheaper lizard. Good.

Arthur paused for a moment to say something but he stopped, did he really want to get into an argument with a child? Well he rather not so it be best to stay quiet and watch. So the elf placed his hands in his coat pockets as Isle took little Z and basically got him to turn upside down which was kind of cute to see her hold him just by his legs, if only he could tickle him without having to worry of the kid falling over then things would be really funny. Though when Zykariel said he was blushing the older elf chuckle and lightly smiled as he walked over to them. "She's got a point, with your dark skin no one will be able to tell and sometimes that can be a good thing." Yeah like Zahara, if she blushed Arthur could never tell if she was or not he would have to rely on her expressions and her movements to tell, but right now he was watching Isle and Zykariel so he shouldn't think about her. "I say you are doing pretty well, just do what Isle is telling you and you be doing back flips in no time! But yes take your time there is no rush." He said with a small chuckle, hey if he can give the little guy a nice push to trying to accomplish this then he would do so, but it was still kind of funny watching the little kid standing upside down.

She tilted her head and studied it, then walked over and stepped up next to the line, walking the length of it and muttering some things beneath her breath. She walked the entire perimeter and then moved inside the chalked line and stretched out as far as she could without hittting the white line. Standing, she brushed herself off and grinned. "Yup, that's just about perfect!"
He concentrated pretty hard, bending his knees slightly and feeling that uncomfortable waver that makes you wonder if indeed you will fall. That was enjoyable...not. His mind wandered for a moment and he almost called out to his father to see what he had done but then thought better of it. After all, it wasn't anything he had done at this point, Isle was helping him stay like that. Wouldn't it be funny if he came into the kitchen one morning on his hands instead of his boots?
"Like this?" He kicked out for a moment and then settled, moving and wiggling until he felt right. It was hard to explain but his body didn't hurt anymore from being in an uncomfortable position. His cheeks were still hot however and he began to get dizzy so he kicked out at Isle hands and did a rolling somersault to get back on the ground. "Uh-oh..now I got my hair dirty. Daddy's gonna have to scrub..."

Malik finished with the books, and then drummed his fingers lightly on Malvolence for a second, and then got himself up and went downstairs to a room, opening it up and setting up chairs and a table. having a few servants scrub the blood stains off the floor and walls, as it was a Breaker room...picked mostly becuase those are somewhat soundproofed fomr the enevitable yelling.
"alright. five more minutes, then I'm getting them in for some family counselling."

Piper gave a chuckle as Lark announced that things were perfect, which made Malikhai oh so happy. "Oh no...he has empire planning skills in him." Another laugh for her thoughts, not that either of the two children would get it. A look over "Kee-" Oh right...Keely was with Meilikki...well damn there went her right hand girl. Had to do things herself...thus the nearest stable hand was instucted to go aquire some help and round up some materials, as well as bring a rune book. Hey she could make this go a lot faster. Just had to be careful. At the same time something was quickly written down on the paper she had brought with her and that was handed off. "That's for Arthur Murdock's stable. Do see to that too, will you?" And another look to her sister. "Alright, we know how wide to make it, so Miss Expert, how tall are we going to make it?
"Yup, just like that." In all truth she was barely holding him at all. "Maybe you can learn to do it on one hand one day too, if you practice very very hard that is." Giving him a smile and crouching once more and brushing some sand off the boy's hair. "Oh kids are supposed to get dirty, that's half the fun. I'm sure your daddy will understand." Ruffling the child's hair.

A handful of miles north of Deep Water, the rigid silence of the eternal dark was suddenly shattered by a very curious sight. The waves of the lake ceased their incesent groaning, and settled into an eriee calm. The surface of the water froze in time, causing a gentle shelf to form. The silence was broken by the sounds of harps stringing, a serene song which knew its origin in a distant place and under a warm sun. The shelf remained stead for a moment or two, then a large circle of runes and symbols spread about the majority of the space. Just as suddenly as the waves ceased and the water became a calm shelf, a very anceint and archaic looking ship appeared afloat above the merky water.
The bow was a dorend with teh symbols of ancient elfdom. The sails configured to make due with the subterranean wind. The length of the ship was roughly one hundred meters, and the wideth twenty. It sat shallowly upon the water, as to pass over reefs and sand bars with ease. The colours of a lost empier adorned her flanks.
"So this is where our last Prince resides." The aged elf commanding the ship spoke softly to his crew. "Best of behaviour." He ordered softly.
Those nearest to him bowed, and shuffled about the deck informing the crew and passangers of the orders. The captain stood on his deck watching the horizon as though he were looking into the spectre of a long thought dead friend.
His name was Haldir, he was a geomancer, and he surivived a terrible war. His eyes were old, despite his age of 1513. He wore his uniformm from his days of service to the throne, though it was remade recently to bring out the shine that it once held over five hundred years prior. His green eyes longed for his Prince, for he felt that the blame for the loss of the empire rested solely on his shoulders. He clenched his hands around the rail before him, and sighed. The GTS Judgement swayed slighly as the geomancer allowed the waves to retake their natural course.
His crew was young. Most between the ages of one hundrend and fourhundred fifty years. They never knew the homeland, and were born abroad in many strange places or regions. A few like himself survied the fall, and they served along side him on this ship. He turned his attention to the environment, and allowed the wind, the water, the earth and the fires beneth tell him much of the land and its inhabitants. The elmenents knew all, but rare spoke of much at all. He recieved several messages, none of which pleased him. He could gather that the elves have suffered much in recent times, but the humans had prospered. Haldir did a small divine, and sighed. His fortunes would sink here.
The elf looked about the ship, and frowned. Not much can change fate, but hope can always try to rebound.

Malik waited for five minutes, before laying his hand on Malvolence.

He gave a look to Isleandra that was wholly skeptical. "You don't know Daddy, he likes things to be clean." A punctuating nod at that one before he blinked and tilted his head, squinting an eye before shaking his head. "It's Mr. Malik's voice in my head again." A look up to his father. "Daddy! Mr. Malik wants us!" Then he looked back to Isle. "Thank you for teaching me to do that, I'm going to practice really really hard."
Sevilin looked up from what he was doing, a nice little pile of papers going on right now, all with various aspects and combinations on how things were going to work. Or at least how they would hopefully work and not override or decease effectivity of the others already in place, little notes scratched around the papers and everything. Though he didn't know why he looked up when he knew the voice was in his head. Oh gods...what did Malik want with all of them? Then his attention was drawn by his son who voiced that he was in on the loop too.
Taking a moment to clean up his little mess and more or less runing it to wherever he kept things when he did that he walked down the stands and to the arena. "I heard, come along." Holding out his hand to the boy waiting for him to take it before he started walking, breifly looking down at Nym jumped up and latched to his braid, hanging on for the ride with that red marble in his mouth.
Being they were already downstairs, it didn't take him long to get to the requested room. But on gods...there were chairs and things...it was a damned table meeting of some sorts.

Malik was laening on the wall, malvolence out, and cleaning it lightly, looking over at Sevilin and Zykariel.
"Good. two out of three. now I'll give her...five minutes, then I'll have her dragged down here by her hair if I have to."

Oh wait...all three of them. Good gods... "You're trying to give me an aneurysm aren't you? Why do you want to see all three of us?"
"Daddy what's an..anerism?" That sounded right interesting now didn't it?
"Aneurysm...and you don't need to worry about what it is." Because you shouldn't tell your child that your employer was trying to make a main artery or vein in your head explode...just wasn't good thoughts for the young children.

She thought about it for a moment and then said slowly, "The one we built at home I can see into if I stand on a big boulder. The boulder is up to here on me, so..." She muttered a few things under her breath and did some measuring with her hands, judging distance. "One and a half of me high."
Zahara She was busy. Sure she heard the message but she jumped for no man. She wasn't about to be gathered however and after a brief debate on whether or not she was a member of the "Inthara household" she finally decided that she was. After all, Malik had already mentioned that he wanted to talk to her and she'd blown him off. But while she didn't plan on talking to him alone, she sure as hell wasn't talking to him in front of Sevilin and Zykariel. Rolling her eyes and finishing her brushing of Nightmare, she patted the matriarch's flank and shook her head. "Gotta go guys but I'll be back." Down to the basement with her, counting rooms. "Four...five...six." She poked her head in and sure enough Sevilin and Zykariel were sitting there. "Hey guys, do me a favor and tell Malik I couldn't make it. Thanks. Urgent business and whatnot. You'll be home for dinner?"

Malik glanced up.
"Nice of you to join us."
Before a big meaty hand shoved Zahara the rest of the way in with a grin to Malik.
"thanks Broog."
Before the door was shut and locked, Malik motioning to the seats.
"Please be seated."

Even better...locking in a room together all nice and cozy...though Sevilin did give a half nervous look to said locked door. After all, he still didn't do well with locked places he couldn't get out of really and that place also being small and confining was even worse. Joy among joys. But he merely let out a sigh of exasperation, picking his boy up and plopping him in a chair but Sevilin only stood behind that chair, leaning on the back of it.

"Hey!" She half stumbled into the room and then turned back and yanked on the door, before turning around and glaring at Malik. "Oh, fu-" Kid in teh room, had to keep cursing nonexistent. "I'm not doing this. I have nothing to say to you and the only thing I want to know from you two is you're going to be home for dinner."
Zykariel looked between the adults, slowly grasping that this wasn't going to be a fun meeting. He crossed his arms and glared. "How come she's here? She's not an Inthara."
"Exactly. Excellent point Zykariel."

Arthur of course was smiling like hell as he watched Isle teach little Zykariel how to keep himself in that position though of course strain set in and he had to fall down so the blood could go back through his body and not make him feel dizzy. "Don't worry when doing these tricks it's alright to get dirty Zykariel." But Arthur couldn't help but shake his head when the little boy talked about Sevilin, that man and his cleaning habits, out of all the people he knew of that drow was the only one who took cleaning way to seriously' but he frowned a little when the tiny drow said that Malik wanted to see them and usually that would end badly depending on what the man wanted. But he allowed to let the little tyke go off with his father and now he was alone with Isle, so he turned to the elf and gave a small smile before going into a cartwheel and landing right next to her after a few turns. "So now that we have stretched wanna have a little sword play? Or how bout you teach me how to play that flute of yours?" Eh Malik was occupied with the other members of his little household so he didn't mind having the free time.
