Gil chuckled "It's ok I've had to eat a lot of foods before the worst place for it is Goug it's moogle nut everything though it's not always kupo nuts and some of their nut dishes are actually rather nice" he said "Why do you do really odd cereals here?" he asked.

Oassu scratched his head "Well I guess that's ok I suppose would figure the elven capital would have more available transportation though but yeah lets go get sorted since we'll need to go to Yithra soon, I can get a proper winter wardrobe there just need a short term fix for now" he said.

Zadina frowned fixing his hair before going to sit down "I guess we're lucky then, though the ancient dwarf Engineer Cid must've been very brave to build an airship seeing how most dwarves are terrified of heights" he said.

Jeckhart smiled taking some toast for himself "The Dwarves are a rather unique race, near the origin of the worlds all the races were plentiful if not fully developed they were born under the mountains and they actually loved to explore, the sky fascinated them for a while but unfortunately other dangerous creatures were born in the mountains trolls, dragons and giants and things dragons especially liked dropping them off the top the mountains and eventually they grew to hate the sky though it is impressive they managed to drive most of the dragons into what is known as the dragon layers and keep their home in the mountains" he told Zadina

Satoshi scratched her head "Well cereal just isn't a national food and not eaten at all let alone at breakfast. Meaning if your lucky you might get the odd import but nothing especially fancy because of costs. Too pricy for my village to bother buying it when the money can be spent on things like weapon upgrades" she explained further letting out a small yawn "I bet its not that bad unless someone has a nut allergy. But moogles I'm sure like other types of food too... they seem to like sugary stuff to me"

"We have pleanty chocobo and horse travel about and thats all we really need. It's how we travelled once upon a time and people nowerdays would be hopeless travellers without a fancy airship" Hayate stated smiling at a bunch of children having a snowball fight. "Just get one or two nice outfits and I'm sure you'll get more over the festival. Corella likes making jumpers for people"

Felina laughed nodding her nead "Yeah thats true, she's made everyone jumpers the past few years. Was rather funny seeing dad wearing a moogle one and I suspect we'll be getting something similar again this year unless she's picked up a new hobby in the time that we've been away"

Alpha hesitated not entriely sure about that one "It's not just fiends nowerdays that make travelling unsafe. Though fiends are also a lot more evolved than what they used to be in terms on intelligence and I use myself as an example of that. Behemoths are also getting smarter over the years I've noticed" he mumbled looking out the window.

Hebal scratched her head "Maybe its not the fiends are getting easier, a lot more people are learning to use weapons than ever before and armour sales are on the up" she suggested poking the tip of Zadina's wiggling ear. "Now now eat up and we can go out in the snow and see the sights. And I'm sure Mr. Jeckhart can train pleanty if he wants to"

Gil nodded "I'll just have the same" he said folding the small menu up and passing it back to the waitress who gave Gil an odd look for his physique before shuffling away "Well you really do love your moogles but not everyone likes sweet foods though why do you like them so much?" he asked.

Oassu nodded "I'll be fine with it I'm sure the jumper would look lovely but yeah I'll spend some time looking for presents in the city" he said rubbing his hands together as they arrived in the small town "So, where are we right now anyway?" he asked while checking on Cid.

Jeckhart nodded as he sipped his drink "Still after what you did at the abyss the mobilisation of fiends was halted for another good long while since the demon king was defeated" he said to Alpha "So things are reasonably safe for now, and Behemoths are rare anyway" he said finishing his toast at Hebal's command.

Zadina nodded glad he'd brought his warm cloak for today "Yes Miss Hebal we'll be ready to go soon then we can see Miss Amane!" he said doublechecking that the letter of request was tucked safely in his pocket "She'll be so amazed to see everything and have a real trip outside the forest I'll bet!" he said

"Isn't it obvious? Moogles are adorable both in appearence and with all the cute little sounds they make. Their wings are so tiny and its really cute seeing their pom poms waving about. Plus they are really smart creatures and incredibly polite. Whats not to like about them" Satoshi grinned handing the menu back "People should like sweet food, those are the best tasting foods of them all. Even better than spicy foods"

"We're in the town of Kihoba. It's about a days travel from Yithra city if you go on foot bother free. It's a nice place known for its market and the fact it's one of the few elven settlements on this continent where you can jump on an airship" Hayate informed Oassu striding forward. "And at the other side of the town nearer the forest is where the carriages are kept" he added feeling a little like a tour guide.

Felina smiled watching Cid waving his paw around in front of Oassu noticing he was being watched "It's not like we're short on time to get the shopping in. Don't want to spend the whole time hanging around with my parents all day afterall" she remarked linking arms with him "Now lets explore the town as its a bit of an adventure for me and if you don't mind Hayate, could you sort the transport out for us when we go and get a new coat for him" she requested.

Hebal shrugged letting go of Zadina eventually "I know her because... well unfortunately my past seems to catch up with me and she originally came to me asking for information on the dark association after having being ordered while there to try and chase after me. Then conveniently forgot to tell them that she spotted me" she quietly explained her ear drooping down slightly "But if you don't mind I don't wanna be thinking of sad things on such a good day. You'll like Yennytai, she's a funny little friendly nymph"

Alpha sighed shaking his head at Jeckhart hoping he would get the hint that the subject was an area to avoid "Yeah it was nasty but you guys are lucky, you get to go to all the nicer places we've been to on our travels, not crawling through the sewers and camping through thunder and lightning. Might also see Amane's friends if your lucky I'm guessing Zadina"

Gil smiled "Think you've just got a soft spot for them though you'd be wise not to refer to moogles as pets like that, they'd puff up their fur in a rage and get mad at being compared to animals like that" he said reaching down to pet Enkidu.

Oassu nodded "Well if you're sure then it'll be fine but whatever lead me on, lets get something to eat first this spell is keeping me warm enough to brave the cold for now" he said watching more kids have a snowball fight while a procession of passengers headed down towards the carriage rental.

Jeckhart sighed "I'm not sure there's much I'll like about this forest," he said moving to the door "Still lets get going and see how your child is doing" he said sitting down before clumsily attempting to tie his new shoes.

Zadina nodded "It would be really nice to play with Ardie and Melanae again though I hope they've been playing well with Yenytai and not leaving them all bored and stuff" he said hopping to his feet eager to go

Satoshi laughed shaking her head a second time "Oh trust me I know not to say anything like that to them. It would get the same angry reaction I would get from a demon by calling it a cool looking fiend. But even when they puff up like that and get mad it looks cute so wouldn't have that much of an effect. Guess thats a downside to being cute all the time"

Hayate nodded leading the pair through a nearby back ally "Ok then I'll take you on the shortcut anyway. If your always bored and unable to sleep on the carriage then you can always ask the driver if you can sit up front. About 90% of them will let you provided you don't try and kick the horses"

Felina ducked missing a rogue snowball that had been heading towards her head. "Ok then breakfast it is, and a big one at that I hope" she smiled stepping into the alley and away from the battlefield "Yeah never been allowed to do that though, dad or any of the soldiers he stuck tagging along with me never allowed such a thing on long so I spent a lot of time reading"
