"You want to take on Malik?" That was interesting wasn't it? She thought it had merely been a joke but apparently it was something that was really looked at. Interesting indeed. "Well, with fifty or so years under your belt, you should be good...Malik is a LOT older than the both of us. Age difference can mean a lot in the realm of fighting and certain fighting styles." Giving a shrug but following after him...before doing a cartwheel that turned into trible backhand springs, landing in the sand easily. "How that's for stretched out?"

"Do you mean the nice where you talk in a level voice and logical way, or the nice where you intimidate and talk in that manner where you clench your jaw?" Of course she had to mess with him about it, that was just her wifely way of messing with her dear beloved husband. The massaging? Her subdue Malik technique as well as probably a bit of apology for more or less making him a scratching post. Normal actions actually. "What are you planning to do?"

He looked up from his papers somewhat...and he had a quite nice pile going. When he did work he was wonderfully efficent. Besides, after his worries were off his mind, it connected his runics he knew so well easier in his head. And look at that, Nym was running into things. That happened when he got excited and didn't watch where he was going. "That's normal son, ferrets are naturally nearsighed...they can't see things far away too good."

"Well I took him on twice now, this would be a third time if he wants to go through with it." Oh if Malik does go through with the fight Arthur is going at him hard, really hard and he wont stop until he finally gets him. "Fifty years huh? Well this may take longer than I thought. But if I can beat him now it would be awesome!" Arthur was really happy that he could fight Malik again, though he hoped it wouldn't end like last time, a sword though your side does not feel good. Though he watched Isle with interest as she did some cartwheels and some backhand springs, she was pretty good and each landing seemed so easy. "I say your stretched out really well." He said with a smile then stopped walking and paused for a minute, after a minute or so Arthur then went into a back flip and landed back on his feet but wasn't able to keep the balance so he fell backwards and landed on his butt. "Oh darn I almost got it too..."

"Oh...well that's kind of sad." He watched the ferret bump into a few more things and shook his head. "Is there anything we can do to help him? I don't like him hitting his nose like that, he won't be able to smell no mores."

His attention was drawn to the arena just as Isle decided to show off and he stood up and leaned against the wall, on his tiptoes, watching. That was neat. Wonder if Daddy would let him do things like that? Maybe he could try, it didn't look that hard after all. She just did that jump bendy thing with her body. Yeah, he could do that without a problem. He just couldn't try in front of Daddy. He watched as Arthur tried and giggled when he fell. Silly elf, he couldn't do things like that apparently.

Lark lightly petted over the other eggs, making sure they were warm and settled in the bag. "We're building it outside, right? Good. Then how are we gonna do this?" Not a clue how to start, wasn't it cute? She could have packed those eggs in with no problem, gotten them straw and what not to keep them warm too. But Daddy Kieran didn't let her play with sharp objects and she had a feeling they would be required to build the pen. "Maybe we should get your mom and head outside?" SHe walked over and pet at the egg in the basket next to Malikhai's bed.

"Lock all three in a room and make them figure things out and admit what they don't want to and get along at least enough so that Sevilin won't be distracted by a violent tempered child or a tempermental woman that simply won't admit what she wants."

A slight smirk.

"the nice logical way...and then the clenched jaw way if the first doesn't work."

"Don't get too cocky. You're an elf, you have forever to attain your goals." Of course Isle really didn't understand a limited mindset of life of a human at all. Morality to her was something that wasn't though on too much at all least the dangerous life threatening situation arise. Though she gave a smile and a laugh, trying to graciously hide it behind her hand as he tried to copy her and ended up falling on his backside. "Almost doesn't count." Then she went about showing off more, bending backwards undtil her palms touched the ground, her body arched upward like a bridge, held that a moment and then pushed off slightly with her feet to get them off the ground, bending more till she got her feet above her head and was doing a handstand. Of course that got a subsequent giggle because she was wearing her capes and well gravity pulled them down and more or less over her head. Yeah that probably looked really nice....

"Just don't throw the marble too far or make it stop against the wall. He only bumps when he goes too fast and doesn't look where he's going. Tell him to slow down some or else like you said he won't be able to smell anymore. And give him a treat." And back to papers for him, yup much more productive now.

"Sure...that will work wonderfully. They'll just clam up on you...or at least she will. You know she won't admit anything. If I can't get her to do it, you're certinally not going to get her to do it. Just promise me...you try once and then you stop. Sevilin or Zahara will eventually reach a break point, everyone has one. Promise me?" Leaning down to kiss him lightly in punctuation of the question as well. "If it comes down to it, you can make it so we'll just watch Zykariel for a bit of time so that Sevilin can work...no worry about Zahara in the equation."

He gave a nod as he was helping make sure the eggs wouldn't jiggle together. "We need to go back to the spot we picked out yesterday. I watched mommy show the people how she wanted her stable extension done. We need to get some chalf first and draw....a boundry outline." A nod as he recalled the words. "Are we ready to go yet?" He was anxious.

The elf nodded from where he was sitting and sat back a little bit in the sand. "Yeah your right about that, though it would still be good to defeat him once in battle you know? Even though Malik can easily turn around and beat me again it is the sense of finally wining that feels so good." Though he had to stop talking because Isle laughing was overlapping what he was trying to say, all he gave was a 'You done yet?' look and shook his head a her comment. But when she showed him how to do a proper handstand he couldn't help but laugh at her situation, if she took off her capes before hand then they wouldn't be around her head now wouldn't they? But Arthur kept on laughing as he got up and walked over to her, once he got close enough he grabbed the cape and pulled it up so her view wasn't covered. "Having fun Isle?" He asked with a small chuckle.

She bent her neck at perhaps a painful angle to be able to look up at him. "Yes, much." Blowing at one of the dangling crytals off her cape as he was holding it up before bending at her elbows and rolling backwards so as not to bowl Galesen over, pulling her cape from his hold at the same time. Thus flopping back in the side a moment before hopping to her feet and brushing a bit of sand off of her. "Acrobatics is my specialty you could say. Makes swordplay very fun as well." Though a look over a bit and the to Galesen, nodding some in the direction she had earlier looked. "Looks like we have an audience from a little elf. Care to show off some more?"

Hey look, Daddy was distracted, that meant he could go join the fun without getting into trouble, now couldnt' he? He glanced back one more time just to make sure then slipped into the arena and walked over. "I bet I can do that. And if not, then you can help me do it and I can have something to show Daddy. Won't that be fun?"

He studied the bigger elves and then closed his eyes for a moment before bending downt the way he'd seen Isle do and leaning forward before kicking his legs up into the air. It was rather wobbly and definitely not straight but it was a beginner's handstand. He flopped back onto the dirt floor and glanced up at her. "I wanna do the flip!"

Arthur shook his head lightly and chuckled before Isle decided to complete her handstand by rolling backwards so she could put herself down and get back on her feet again, though of course the cape that was in his hands was taken out without refusal, Arthur wasn't stupid enough to hold onto the cape and get Isle hurt. So he watched her until she hopped back onto her feet and smiled. "It seems you have a lot of specialties eh Isle? Music, acrobatics...what else do you know that I don't? And need to find out." Yup he was quite interested in the surface elf in front of him but his attention broke away from Isle when she pointed out that someone was watching them and he happened to noticed it was little Z; chuckling lightly the elf turned to Isle and gave a small shrug. "Well lets see..." He paused for a moment to look around him then quietly he took off his sword and laid it down so it wouldn't but him when he did his own little acrobatics. "I only feel due to the bloody sand." He pointed out but if she didn't want to believe that then whatever he didn't care. So Arthur paused for a moment then took a breath but before he could do anything little Z tried to do his own handstand with good results. "Nice try little guy!" He said with a chuckle and smiled before turning to Isle. "Wanna teach him?" He asked with a grin.

"Sure, blame the sand." Shaking her head. And then her attention turned to the child who had approached her and then tried to go about doing one of those little tricks they had been doing...only to cutely fall in the sand. Isle gave another chuckle and crouched down to the child, picking him up out of the sand, brushing him off a bit. "Very good indeed! Quite the talent." Looking up to Galesen. "I suppose." And then back to Zykariel. "But you have to learn some other things first. Still up to it?"

Zykariel frowned at Arthur. "I'm not little..." he muttered under his breath and crossed his arms. Of course Isle made that all better and he grinned at her and nodded happily. "I can do anything you tell me to, promise. And I work hard and learn quick. Daddy says I'm smart even if I get my words wrong sometimes."

She checked her boots to make sure they were on and set and nodded. "I'm ready if you are. Let's go." Skipping to the door she glanced back and frowned at him and the big bag. "Are you sure you can carry that Malikhai? If any of those eggs drop and break..."

"Promise. One try at it...but I'm still going to take my sweet time on that one try."

A slight smirk, patting her hand lightly.

"Go on and help the kids get that pen built. I'll finish off these papers, and I'll do your sales and books as well and get you up to par, since I know you don't like the numbers part of things. then I'll have those three in a room for a bit."

She reached a hand out and ruffled the child's hair. "Alright then. You may be ready, but you're still off balance. You need to learn to balance first then you can start doing the harder things. So, get on your hands and knees, and I'll hold your legs up and you can learn where your balance on your hands is."

Making his way behind her, though of course slower since he was still little and he wanted to be the man and act as such, thus the bag he was carrying over his shoulder, supporting it on his back. "I can do it!" Ah yes that confident tone and little saying that he had acquired from his mother though he did wrinkle his nose some and blink a few times. Couldn't rub his eyes, his hands were occupied.

"Fine it can be long, but only once. If this all repeats as history likes to do, you're going to leave it alone." Giving him one of the 'I mean it' looks that she had perfected over the years, though surpise blossomed from it. "You're going to do my books, really? You mean I don't have to beg, or prompt, or sweet talk, or guilt you into doing them for me because I just hate them oh so much, even if I have everything right and it's rather easy?" She just didn't like doing her accounts, obviously. Thus slipping her arms around his neck, hugging him and pressing a kiss to his temple. "I married a good man indeed. Lucky woman me." Nuzzling at his neck lightly before moving off from him and going to the children, giving a chuckle at her son. A look to Lark. "Nor worries..he'll get tired of carrying it soon enough. Let's go start this, and I have some papers to send out as well."

Lark hadn't been around many little boys during her short lifespan so she wasn't horribly exposed to the nuances men have about being in charge and lifting the heavy things, at least not little men. She didn't look too sure, especially when he stopped and looked as though something was wrong.

Walking over, she reached out to take the bag from him when Piper appeared and made it all seem okay. "Alright, if you're sure." Thus she skipped along behind Piper out to the place they'd spotted to build the pen. "Sharp objects and strong hands, right Piper?"

He wrinkled his nose and then listened closely and nodded. " 'Kay," Other elves said that sort of thing too? He thought it was only Daddy who told him to walk before he could run. He hated that saying, preferring to take off at a fast pace, even though he would inevitably fall on his butt and need help. But then he got comfort and cookies and that made everything okay.

Leaning down on his hands and knees, looking as though he might crawl away any second he grinned back at her. Though the next thing he knew his feet were in the air and he was balancing on his hands. It was a lot different from when he'd done it all by himself. He was...upside down. He laughed happily even as the blood rushed to his face. "Hey! I can blush now!"

"Not necessarily. Sometimes all you need is a strong will, and I've been building things for a long time now...Malik just doesn't like me to do that kind of thing anymore, least I get hurt or something. Likes to spoil me after all." And about that point getting handed the bag her son had been carrying.

He skipped off to grab a rock and then stare at the space a few moments, contemplating things in his head about how this needed to be. Needed to be big enough for them to roam around until they learned that this was home but not big enough to attract unwanted attention. A little more staring and then he took to marking on the ground, using the friction of rock on rock to create a white line on the dark underdark terrain drawing out what he thought was suitable. "Like that mommy?"

Piper gave it a look over and nodded but then looked to Lharika. "Well? You're our little expert does that look like enough space for these guys until they're old enough to free range and know to roost here?"

Isle gave a chuckle. "You can blush but I don't think anyone could see it..." Holding the boy by his ankles, though very lightly so he could find his balance some. "Try bending or straightening your knees and elbows until it all feels very comfortable. That's when you know you have your balance. Go on, try, I won't let you fall."
