*Everyone jumped and turned to see the school janitor, Doreen. As usual, there was a squirrel perched on her shoulder.*

I don't get many visitors here. Whatcha up to?
*Chris wasn't sure why the Skrulls would want to replace the janitor who was obsessed with squirrels but he wasn't taking any chances.*
Punishment from Miss Frost. We're here to get some cleaning supplies.

*Chris let out a sigh of relief as Doreen wandered off and he led the others to the basement.*

Skrull Cassie went around the school till she found Wally. Then the two of them also ran into Achilles and smiled towards him.
" Hello Achilles. Can we talk for a minute? Wally and I are worried that you might have problems conforming. So, we thought that maybe we could help you big brother. It's very important to conform. Why don't you come with us to the gym?"

"C'mon bro, it'll be fun!" Wally ran in circles around Cassie and Achilles. "It feels like we haven't done anything together in months!"
Meanwhile....
Outside of Logan's cabin, Kory and Lisa Snart jogged up.
"Oh. My. GOD! There's a little cabin out here!"
Kory held up a small device. "The scanner says that Amadeus Cho is in there. I don't know why Mr. Rogers wants to see him so bad, but he must be in biiiiiig trouble."
"I hear that he has trouble, you know...conforming."
"Ooh, ouch." Kori shook her head sympathetically. "Well, no worries, we can fix him right up. HEY, AMADEU-AAAAAGGGH!"
Kori looked down at her stomach to see a trio of sharp metal claws sticking out of it. Behind her, old man Logan gritted his teeth.
"This is private property, bub. Didn't you read the sign about trespassers?"
And with another swipe of his claws, he lopped Lisa Snart's head off.
"Wait...I took that sign down before I left.
Oh well."
Logan slashed the scanner to pieces and stalked inside.
"Kid! Cho, or whatever your name is."
"Cho is fine, Mr. Howlett." Logan scowled.
"No one's called me that in a long time."
"They'll call you that again...in the future."
Logan shook his head. "Grab what you need. We need to go. The Skrull are going to be looking for their scouts once they don't report back in."
"Go? Where?"
Logan smirked.
"To Zinda's place."

No one suspicious yet. Everyone just seemed...normal. He wasn't quite sure how these glasses were supposed to work. The janitor checked out clear, and he followed after Chris as he lurked around talking about pervy things like any other teenage boy, except it was weird because he was also friends with Cassie, and he felt like he knew a lot about their personal life now.
"So...we're going to find Cho, right?"
His cell phone went off, and he checked his text messages. Wallace. It seemed safe and Wallacey.
Sure, maybe later? What time would work for you?
"It's just Wallace. No big."

Achilles looked up from the stone bench where he had been sitting, sharpening his sword with a smooth, obsidian stone. He looked from Wally to his sister and frowned. "Why do you keep saying this conforming so much? You told me I had been fitting in since I started here very well." He looked back to Wally. "And since when does Wally go to the gym? isn't the track more his speed?" Achilles looked to Wally and smiled. "Get it? I made a joke."

Skrull Cassie laughed a little at Achilles bad joke.
"Because there's this thing called the danger room near the gym. It's a training exercise where you get to fight all these bad guys..It'll be fun.It's been off limits forever but Mr. Rogers just started opening it up to students. Tell him Wally."

"SO cool." Wally jumped up and down excitedly. "I've already beaten the record for FASTEST time through the gauntlet, dude, you GOTTA give it a try, it. IS. AWESOME. And conforming is all about being the best hero you can be, right? Even the Spartans or....Trojans or...whatever...were careful about conforming."
They arrived at the gym, through the back entrance into a large metal corridor that had been closed previously.
"Plus, the lay-days, they LOVE a guy who conforms."

"Fascinating. You seem to have a tunnel system underneath the entire schoolgrounds."
"Yup, I do. It's been handy more than once. I never went here as a student, but I've been around." Amadeus Cho and Logan had stepped into one of several secret passages that led from various parts of the school to his cabin. Logan navigated them perfectly despite how dark it was, but Amadeus stumbled to keep up.
"Tell me something, kid..."
"If you want to ask me about the future, the less you know, the better. I've already said more than I should have. I don't want to risk altering the past."
"I just want to know one thing. A thousand years from now? I'm still around?"
"Yes, and....well, you're the Headmaster of Hero High. It's expanded quite a bit from these humble beginnings. But it's renowned throughout the galaxy for the heroes it's trained. Even in the furthest reaches of the universe, people have heard of Superman and Wolverine and the deeds they did."
"And I invite you to join Hero High?"
"Yes. I've got a...pedigree that you, future you said would be welcome at this school. It's not that I need formal education in most intellectual matters, but...well, like I said, history fascinates me. Especially the history of heroes and villains."
"And you think we're going to be able to turn back these janky-jawed assholes without a school-wide brawl, huh."
"I think that we HAVE to. Imagine the social implications, Mr. Howlett, if the public at wide learns about the alien infiltration. It will make your McCarthyism era look like a cake walk. Everyone will be suspected, even if the invasion is soundly defeated. Public trust in authority AND superheroes will be destroyed."
"Hnh. Not fond of a battle I can't punch my way out of, kid."
"That's okay. I'm fond of battles that you have to think your way out of."
Logan stopped and sniffed the air.
"Powell. He's got Danielle with him in the tunnel from the janitor's closet. And-" Logan popped his claws. "There's a skrull with them. Follow me."

Achilles stops before he enters and does not budge a step further into the Danger Room. Skrull-Wally and Skrull-Cassie turn to look at him as he acts hesitant.
"If this is something that the Trojans were big on, then I doubt it will be of any value to me. I opposed them, remember?"
He then looked at Wally.
"And why would I wish to do anything that the 'lay-days' love?"

"That's not cool. I thought you were my friend, Achilles." Wally looked horribly hurt. "And I thought you wanted to be a hero for the ages, just like Ms. Prince. But I guess you'd rather not do what it takes to be the best you can be."
Wally scowled.
'C'mon, Cassie. I thought Achilles wanted to train with us, but I guess he'd rather go sit in Mysia's stables and sigh. We can go try to find Chris again. I know he'd get a kick out of conforming with his bro."

*As Chris, Dani, and Teddy made their way down the tunnel, Dani was explaining everything that "Cho" had told her.*
My mom is a Skrull?
*Dani nodded.*

No wonder she joined the religious kooks and disowned me. I am going to have a loooooooooong talk with Mom Skrull. She is so gonna pay and give me back my real mom.
*Something else was nagging at Chris.*
He said they copy powersets, right? But they copying me wouldn't give them my powers. They needed an amulet,,,that's why they grabbed Talon's from the vault. Dani? Your Witchblade gives you powers, right? You have none yourself?

"Best thing about it is that, Witchblade'll cut off the arm of whoever puts it on. As a sentient being it knows me. And Sara..."
Suddenly Dani paused.
"Oh my gosh.. Sara..."
She looks to Teddy and Chris saddened and worried. sad
"You don't think... They couldn't have gotten to Sara... right?"

If your thinger will cut off their arms if they touch it then they'd be dumb to go after right now. They're trying to lay low and a bunch of one armed people around campus will look suspicious.
*Chris turned something over in his mind a few times.*
But what you've told me has given me an idea. If the future overlord of Earth here agrees to help out. Which I think he will...you're a good guy, Teddy. Don't worry about what that "Cho" character said about you.
