Takako no Kaori Streamjumper Hot Toddy. It'll fix you up quick. And I can tell you how to make em if you want. Just don't have any plans when you take em, they make NyQuil look like children's medicine. Takako wants. Me too.

Takako no Kaori Whenever I look in the R&C and see these kinds of auctions going on, it totally crushes my spirit as an artist. gonk -insert more profanity here, followed by banging of head against wall- Think about what its like to be totally incapable of drawing whatsoever.

Streamjumper Shoujo Phoenix I woke up thinking my cold was almost gone...until I sneezed and got congested. gonk Hot Toddy. It'll fix you up quick. And I can tell you how to make em if you want. Streamjumper Think about what its like to be totally incapable of drawing whatsoever. It doesn't matter whether you're capable or not... I'm still never going to get anywhere above 15k for my art, while these people are getting millions. Hot Toddy, aka Folk Medicine At Its Finest, aka Grampa Streamy Corrupting the Young.
Most modern recipies put it as being 2 oz whiskey and 4 oz water mixed with a cube of sugar, but they're bullshit.
Booze - Whiskey, bourbon, scotch, or brandy (espeically applejack brandy) will work here. I prefer scotch or bourbon, though brandy is nice. The smokyness of the bourbon or scotch will help clear out your sinuses while the alcohol will help soothe your throat.
Honey - This will coat your throat, to help soothe it. Honey is also good for a lot of medicinal purposes. One of these is aiding in soothing a stomach. Also, the calories will help you when you don't have much of an appetite.
Lemon juice - Vitamin C. Also helps clear out the sinuses.
Hot water - Helps the rest do its work.
My recipie- Pour 4 oz of hot water into a mug, add 2 oz of the booze and a spoon or two of lemon juice (experience will tell you how much to add later to acchieve perfect flavor for you), and two spoons of honey. Stir well and drink hot.
Its not just for when you get sick either. Its a great drink for after a day out in the cold or when you really have problems getting to sleep.

That sounds great, except for I don't have any alchoholic drinks in my house. My mother absolutely won't allow it. sweatdrop We're talking about the woman who threatened to call the police on kids for skipping pebbles across a street with no traffic. sweatdrop
