((Hey! Mail is messing up!)) Maara looked at her hat, wanting to put it on and go to the town, or just go hide somewhere... She thought nothing about Kaden's kiss, just wanted to know why he kept taking her hat. "I need this..." She said, going back over and picking it up again. Maybe she could go up for a little bit, but talk about what? Maara's tail flicked curiously underneath her coat, putting her hat back on her head, orange ears disappearing beneath it. She adjusted it slightly, curls spilling out of it, then smiled. "Okay...but only for a bit. I have to go find some things for Trina..." She looked at River hesitantly, as if checkng to make sure River wasn't angry with her still.

((I'm a working on it at the moment. Leaves upstairs or leaves for town?))Maara made a sound that was half like a 'hey', and half like a meow. "I have feet you know!" She exclaimed, her face going a bit pink in embarassment. Her hat had tumbled right off her head, and she barely managed to catch it before it hit the stairs. "This isn't funny! I almost lost my hat!" She jammed it back on her head, holding the brim in on hand while the other tried to keep form falling. "You're going to drop me!"

"Merow! Stop it!" Maara tried to get to where she could get down, but couldn't manage it with one hand still firmly gripping the hat. "I'm going to hurt you in a second..." She murmured, though it was an empty threat. She just wanted down before she was dropped.

((Hmm....let's experiment shall we?)) A gruff looking man walked in indigantly, slightly tiffed at getting himself lost in the muddy forest twice. He straightened his glasses, which he was sure were beyond fixing, and they still sat slightly askew. He then noticed that the only person who seemed to be awake, or at least, mildly sober, was a pink haired female sitting at the bar. "Excuse me Ma'm don't mean to disturb you," He said, in a tone that implied he absolutely did mean to disturb her. "I was looking for someone...do you work here?"

Maara growled in her throat when he threw the hat, tried to get up to retrieve it, but he was in the way. She couldn't shout at him, did not want to wake the other one... "If you keep taking my hat..." She whispered fiercely, her hands covering her ears, which were flat against her head in an attempt to hide them, they made her self concious. "Then yes, I will hurt you. I'm not sour, I just want my hat! Why do you keep taking it?" She questioned, still whispering. "It's my hat...get your own..." ((*Laughs* Her hat! That is so funny to me...))

The man lifted his head importantly, adjusting his glasses again. "Well, I work for...the Sentiant Species Network...and we've tracking down a being for a few years now. My sources tell me I could find her here...." He flipped through a clipboard hurridly, annoyingly. "Subject is described as a five feet tall female with dark eyes and hair, with the ability to destroy barriers and objects at will. Being is also said to be able to conjure matter, sometimes have irredescent wings, and be able to fly. Subject has been classified as an unknown species..." He blinked, then looked up. "Have you seen such a person?" He asked, looking annoyed. (Death march for random fellow...)

Maara almost snatched it from him, but then she saw he was actually giving it back, not teasing her. She took it from him, smiling without meaning to, and putting it back on her head. "Thank you...but they're not pretty..." She adjusted it to her liking, then grinned fully. "I like my hat better..." Then she was more serious. "Yeah...I kind of figured that out...but I really didn't mean to, I should have left her alone if that's what she wanted...but she's Trina's friend, and Trina would be upset if something happened to her...so I had to ask..." Maara nodded. "I have not really gotten to speak to River much. Or anyone really...just Trina, and Trina never talks back. Just nods a lot."

The man took a step backwards, considering this. "That is none of your concern. Where can I find her? Perhaps you would be willing to tell me? I can make it worth you while..." His hand flexed in his pocket, concious that he was not as young as he used to be...forty four, and aging still. Would this woman be trouble? He was trained to recognize non humans, and his mind was telling him she was something else...hmm...interesting.

Dream wasn't really asleep. he'd jsut been savoring the feel of laying in bed for no reason. But he didn't want to interupt them either.. So he kept sitill and quiete while they spoke. L;etting them beleive he was sleeping

(*acks falling over* morning..))

Dream blushed a tiney bit. and then the stroking fingers hit ticklish spots and he squeeked giggling helplessly as he wiggled away. He rolled over and looked up at Kaden

"Um.. morning" he said shyly

Dream blinked and blushed at the little lick. Then shook his head no

"No.. i've been up for mabye half an hour.. just.. enjoying laying in bed" he said ducking his head a bit
