Oassu shook his head "Zadina tells me Magical sleep isn't quite as good for you as natural sleep I'll give the old fashioned way of falling asleep a try first, its late so hopefully the other passengers near us will be wanting to keep quiet and sleep too" he said joining the queue.
Gil shrugged "Well I already have a house in Goug I guess that's as close to a home as I have and I might be offered a house or something on this place if I do help them well enough though they probably need all the space they can get so I'm not looking for anything" he said "As bad as it is if you are a more renowned mercenary you get better rewards and offers as people are more keen to attract you to their cause" he shrugged.

Alpha nodded "Yep thats what happens with anyone regardless of the profession, when famous for their skill or talent they can get away with a load more be you a singer, ninja, mercenary or baker. But do me a favour Gil, when you have a bit of quiet time take Satoshi to Goug. She would love it and I might conveniently tag along for some nice new airship upgrades if I can afford since most of the diamonds were used redecorate this place" he joked.

Hayate also shook his head "I would rather not have magical sleep either, I prefer to stay in control over when I can and can't wake up and I can go by fine without much sleep anyway. Magical sleep doesn't regenerate your energy as much as regular sleep but you also can't have nightmares because its either always dreamless or its the best dreams you've ever had depending on whether or not the caster wants to keep you permanently asleep"
Felina tutted slowly shuffling forward towards the airship "Now lets not go into the mean tricks in legend the dream goddess liked to play or everyone would be put of by magical sleep. Lets hope theres nobody panicing either due to being really afraid of flying or ill. Though I shall say it now, the window seat is going to be mine" she declared before anyone else could claim otherwise"
"I think the airship is fine the way it is without any extra little upgrades" Satoshi commented glancing over at Hebal "I'm sure she would agree since she's got a nice little armoury going on in your engine room from all the heat produced" she said reaching down and gently stroking Enkidu's head. "Though the taking me to your place in Goug sometime you know is a good idea"

Oassu smiled "The way I hear it you don't really sleep anyway Hayate according to Alpha" he said shrugging, though that dream goddess sounds like she has a funny sense of humour if she does stuff like that all over the place" he said somewhat saddened Felina had reserved the window seat.
Gil smiled "Well I'm sure it is you'd love all the moogles and stuff there" he said "Plus you'd be revered quite a bit, and I could probably get you a good discount on your airship renovations there but you probably won't need something for a while after all you just finished fixing up the airship" he said.

Alpha grinned "Well I could live with that though I didn't do any modifying while in Kunec except for increasing the speed this thing could travel at. Plus I'm guessing you won't be off to Goug again for at least a couple of months which is pleanty time for adventurers like us to save up a big load of gil for stuff like that"

Felina shuddered shaking her head "She's not that nice. Because she got her energy and power from dreams she would keep people in a permanent state of magical sleep by trapping them in a dream where all their desires have come true and then convincing the victims that the dream world was actually reality. Thats a basic summary of what the stories said until she was killed"
"I sleep occasionally... at least every 3 or 5 days which is more than enough for me" Hayate shrugged happy the queue was at least moving. You could call it a blessing in disguise for Alpha as it means he can head to bed earlier and still have s flying throughout the night. I see a lot of Hebal early morning too. She's always up at stupid times like 5am to make some armour"
Satoshi smiled back checking Terrato was still ok beside her "I would be happy enough just to be treat like a regular tourist though I suppose the special treatment could be seen as a bonus. And perhaps you might encounter Milly again when you pick up Amane again if your lucky meaning more diamonds for you"

Oassu frowned "Doesn't sound that fun then there was me thinking she was somewhat nice and fun who liked making people dream" he said yawning slightly "Still sleep once every 3 or 5 days isn't exactly normal" he said to Hayate "Should see someone about that." he said
Gil nodded "If he has Elixirs, they aren't that common then again your son is an alchemist yet I supposed you're blessed in the sense that you know a magic pot that is friendly and doesn't self destruct or move much" he said.

Alpha shook his head with a loud groan "I don't have any elixirs at the moment. nd my son my be an alchemist but for some reason he just had to settle himself up a place in the middle of the desert surrounded by poverty and plague at the moment. He's not allowed to send anything out at the moment not that the mognet is even running in that area for the time being" he complained.

Hayate paused removing a small pink coloured tube from the side pocket in his bag "I've seen many people over the sleep thing, never had any luck working out the cause so they just handed me a bunch of pills to make sure I slept. But I don't like taking them, especially if not in the most secure of locations" he answered giving the object a small shake indicating something was inside.
Felina frowned slowly approaching the bottom step leading up stairs "You better get in front since they are about to check our tickets and you should be taking those more frequently if you want to stay healthy" she scolded while she indiated to the conductors. "I'm sure the sleepers liked being rulers of the universe and whatever else they dreamed of but not all elven gods and goddesses were nice ones. Some are meant to be mean and tricksy"
Satoshi hesitated trying not to laugh Alpha for the inconvenient timing "Well never mind, so long as your son doesn't get into trouble or badly sick over there. And there will be other times to see Milly since she lives so near Hebal who I think has no desire yet to leave us" she pointed out optimistically.

Oassu shrugged "Shame you can't get some proper sleep easily, wonder what caused it, but you got the tickets?" he asked seeing as there were only two groups ahead of them now "But best just take your medicine for now, Princesses' orders" he snickered thinking he'd get something to eat when on the ship "And I certainly wouldn't mind her putting me to sleep for this trip at least, didn't think you could kill an elven god anyway" he said
Gil frowned uncertain as to how a plague could get into such an isolated place "Well it's a shame but I'm sure it'll be fine for him, he's a demon they're naturally resilient to disease like dwarves are plus he's the doctor for that town not like he going to be the one without medicine" he said

Alpha smiled and gave them both a nod "I know all that don't worry. I just would rather if he picked some nice little town with a nice house and a lower crime rate. It's just a father thing really, wanting your kids to live as comfortable as possible while good for a fire demon's health like Tricasia as a perfect example. You should think about getting youself some diamonds and keeping them for yourself Satoshi, from what I make out your village is giving you a really terrible wage considering what you earn"

Hayate grunted huffishly "I'll think about it but I'm not promising anything" he muttered flashing the tickets to the staff before giving one to each of his travel comapnions. "See I kept the tickets nice and safe for us and it has our seat numbers written on. Anyway There are ways to kill a god, mostly to do with another god doing the act but there are a few story exceptions like this one"
Felina paused making a note that her ticket had B1 written across the bottom corner "Well that story was kind of ironic. I mean the stories go he killed her in her dream world and the funny thing about dreams is they are able to defy the laws of nature and the hero was pretty much just able to dream up a weapon which could kill a god"
Satoshi sighed "Nah It's not worth the risk of getting caught and I do get to kep half of my earnings most of the time. Its just I've been spending the past few months doing all I can to convince the people in charge that over the next two years it would be more beneficial to them financially to keep me travelling about with you guys doing independent work. As for your son I would be proud that he's so willing to go out of his way to help the really poor people over there"

Oassu snickered "Well her big plan kinda backfired then" he said taking his ticket and examining it "Right then now lets get on and find our seats and get settled and all that jazz" he said somewhat excited to get on the ship.
Gil sighed "Yeah but you'll be able to leave your ninja clan responsibilities behind sometime and just earn money for yourself, I imagine they'd want to take a half of the diamond's value as well even if you did get more" he said "Just so long as they don't want to try and capture Milly once they hear about her still will we need to leave soon?" he asked Satoshi

Alpha turned his head looking at the clock "Yeah you guys really should get ready to leave quite soon or you might miss your flight. But I doubt even you ninjas would be able to capture a magic pot and transport it home. And half the diamonds is still far better than none at all which is what you currently had. Could get yourself a nice diamond ring, pretty much every lass wants one of those" he chuckled.

Felina nodded hopping up the remaining step "Yep it backfired majorly and she should have thought that one over at some point.... well this certainly isn't as nice as our airship" she groaned just seeing the aisles and aisles of seats "I thought there would be a bit more leg room and reclining seats at the very least" he whispered.
Hayate snickered pointing to the second row down with the letter B written on the side "Nice and simple we're pretty near the front and all the luxury fliers go that way instead" he commented looking at the red curtains one or two members of staff pushed their way through. "Sorry but this is the best your gonna get for the price the tickets were bought at and at such short notice so you'll just have to do your best resting while sitting up"
Satohi smiled picking up the sleepy Terrato and placing him into the bag "Personally I'm not bothered about diamonds, emeralds are more my style along with rubies. And your right, they wouldn't dare try and move a magic pot for they know what the little things can do. Anyway are you all sorted Gil?" she wondered.
