"Hey! Did you just call me a slu-- EEEP!!"
She was about to lay the smackdown on Powell's fully armored behind for calling her a nasty name when a hairy bruit yanked her in the cabin!
"Hands off Creeper!"
She shoved his hand away, Taking a few steps back, now it was her turn to armor up, with Witchblade quickly coating her body. This guy scared her.
"Chris. What the hell is going on? Who is this guy!? And whats everyone's fascination with blonds all about?!"

Linda took out her cell phone... the whole Jason thing.. it seemed wrong. Nevermind the fact that Jason's hair was dyed black before he died and now he comes back and it's his natural red... Something was wrong. Linda texted her roommate Karen ' Hey K- It's Linda ... you near our room?'

Amadeus was disturbed. That was an odd line of questioning that Cassandra and Wally had tried to lay on him earlier. Did they suspect -
...
No. That was impossible. Who else on campus would know about the secret invasion, besides himself and Teddy? And Teddy only knew because Cho had told him. Teddy was the only one who knew the whole truth. Teddy was the key.
Meanwhile, he still had work to do on the project that he was hoping would get him home. He wasn't even supposed to be here in the first place. He didn't come from-
"Nevada." Amadeus looked up from the biology textbook he was barely glancing at in the school library to see Mr. Rogers looking down at him. Amadeus blinked.
"I'm sorry?"
"I received a report today that Amadeus Cho was just sighted in Nevada." Rogers grabbed a seat and sat down opposite Amadeus. "This is the second report we've gotten that says you aren't right here, Amadeus. What's going on?"
Amadeus shrugged. "Probably time travel. It's some future me, in the middle of some sort of paradox. It'd be best if I stay right here. The two of us meeting could be catastrophic for the timeline."
Rogers raised an eyebrow. That actually was a possibility. His attempt to trap Amadeus hadn't worked. He decided to try another tack.
"We unrolled some new outer space curriculum in school today, Amadeus. Have you attended Professor Namor's lecture yet on the War of Kree Aggression?"
"No, I don't have Heroics this semester." Amadeus set down the book. "Is something wrong, Mr. Rogers?" He wasn't pleased at everyone suddenly asking him all of these questions.
"Oh no, no...not at all. I just like having a little one-on-one time with each of our newer students, try to gauge how they're adapting to our admittedly different teaching methods."
Amadeus nodded. "I did find it interesting that Mr. Castle issued me a gattling gun, no questions asked."
"Yeah, he'll...he'll do that..." Rogers seemed lost in thought. "I noticed you talking to West and Sandsmark earlier. Everything all right?"
"Yes, I...think so..." Amadeus shrunk in his seat. This was getting to be bad news...
"I'd like you to pal around with them for a while. They're old hands at this superheroic school. Some of our best students. They'll help you conform." Rogers stood up, and suddenly Wally and Cassie were right there, each one on one side of Amadeus. Rogers leaned forward. "Because we wouldn't want one of our special students to stick out...right, Xavin?"
Rogers straightened up and left. Wally grinned at Amadeus.
"Wow, attention from Mr. Rogers. You must be doing things right, Cho. Want to go hang at Blackhawks?"
Cho looked down at the table. There were two wet marks where his palms had been resting on the table. He took a deep breath and smiled.
"Certainly. Sounds great."
Rogers had no clue...
The trio went to Blackhawks.

*Chris tensed, ready to take down Dani if she was indeed a Skrull.*
Well?
Naw...she's clean.
Whew.
*Chris armored down and moved towards Dani.*
It's okay, Dani. We needed to make sure you were you. This is Old Man Logan-
Watch it, bub.
-and he's brought us a warning. People at school are being replaced by an alien race. The Skrulls.
*Chris could tell Dani was skeptical.*
Remember Mr Namor? The Skrulls are shapeshifters. Don't you think it's strange that he tried the whip the class into a pro-Skrull/anti-Kree frenzy out of nowhere?
Namor's a Skrull?
Yeah. Pretty sure. He was ranting about "the War of Kree Aggression." Look, Dani, I'm sorry I had to lie to you to get you here but Logan can smell Skrull. I needed to make sure you weren't replaced.

"Uugh..." Dani shook her head, absorbing this much information was like a roller coaster ride.
"Whoa whoa whoa!! Ok I get it. You needed to make sure I wasn't replaced. These things are bad news."
She motioned to Logan with both hands, but was still talking to Chris..
"Old man Logan here can smell them That's god right? Like our own Alien detector. We'll need him to point out who the little baddies are."
Now she was talking to Logan.
"So why don't you come with us? How will we know whos who? I mean What If I were a Skrull? What would you have done. Locked me in the freezer?" She had no idea what Logan would have really done. And prefered it that way.
"I mean If we keep bringing Skrulls to you someone's going to know they are missing. That could be a problem. So you need to tell us How We can tell them apart. Something."

*Logan popped a single claw and used it to pick his teeth. Gross.*
Do I look like a "take prisoners" fella, kid? If parade students and teachers through here, someone is gonna take notice. So instead, let's get some grub. Where can I get some food?

"What was I supposed to think when some says 'Cheer me up at a cabin'? Besides Cassie's stuck with you this long so you must be doing something right."
She lightly punches him in the arm for playing her like that. Then whispers.
"With all these replacements happening it hard to know who to trust... I'm just glad we have our private alien detector with us. But how do you know we can trust him...?"

Meanwhile, at Blackhawks...
"Hey, lay-days!" Wally winked at the cheer squad. He sidled up to Kory Anders. "Your worries can rest, cuz here comes West!"
Kory blanched. "Uh...wait. You like us again? I thought you and lame-o Linda were-"
"Hey, there is PLENTY of West to go around, lay-days! PLEN. TY. Zinda! Drinks for the girls are on me tonight!" The cheerleaders looked at each other, shrugged, and ordered another round of Coke's.
Yeah...Jason Todd wasn't the only one Skrulls had out of date intel on.
Amadeus Cho looked around, trying to figure out how to slip away from Cassie and Wally to find Teddy.

Once he figured out I wasn't an alien, he stopped trying to kill me. He's a bit insulting but that's about it.
*Logan pushed past Chris and Dani. Why was he so impatient to be first?*
Well, if it isn't the one and only Lady Blackhawk. Have ya learned yet that ya can't drink a man with a healin' factor under the table yet?

"Hey guys! Ohh Cassie Did you read the New blog post yet?"
Dani said cheerfully, finally she could talk with Cassie about something not involving the end of the world.. again...
She noticed the somewhat unfamiliar face sitting with them.
"Hey, aren't you in high honors science? I thought I saw you coming out of the class. I'm Dani."
She smiles polity. Then looks to Chris.
"I get the feeling you and Wally are getting the Belly Busters again."

Cassie blinked up at Dani and smiled..
"Yeah, I figure since Chris and I broke up again maybe I should date Cho here..."
Yeah, the skrulls had info on Cassie too.... though with her it was hard to tell when she was dating Powell and when she wasn't. Completely out of date knowledge..Cassie batted her eyelashes at Cho looping her arm in his clinging on to him..
"What do you say handsome?"

"THAT'S IT! DRINKIN' CONTEST, RIGHT NOW!" Zinda's voice rang through Blackhawks as she suddenly started slamming bottles of tequila onto the bar. Students all backed up as she gave Logan a shot glass and he uncorked a bottle with his teeth.
"Whut. Whuuuuuuut." Was all Wally could say. "Is that something you should be doing on a high school campus?"
Amadeus reached for his sunglasses....he had a suspicion that everyone around him were skrulls....but they were gone. Where-
"Rogers. Sp-"
"I'M WHUPPIN' YA, SHORTIE!" Zinda shouted as she downed a sixth shot.

*Chris's eyes flicked back and forth between Wally, Cassie, and Cho before settling on Cassie.*
So...that's how it is?
*Chris leaned in towards Dani and whispered.*
Follow my lead and get Logan on the way out.
*Chris armored up and exploded across the table.*
GET OFF MY GIRLFRIEND!
*He yanked Cho up and pulled him back across the table from a surprised Cassie and Wally.*
WE'RE GOING TO HAVE A LITTLE TALK!
*Chris was screaming and a path cleared as he dragged poor Cho towards the front door. He hoped Dani kept her head and followed.*

Dani got the hint loud and clear. Quickly she steps in front of Cassie putting her hands up.
"Don't worry Guys. You stay here. I'll go after them!"
She didn't wait for a response, just running to the bar and knocking the shot glass out of Logan's hands, with an 'accidental' bump to the back, just as he was about to take another sip.
"Aww you're glass fell, guess your a little tipsy after all! I'd better get you outa here big guy!"
Dani swung Logan's arm over her shoulder, and used Witchblade to wrap around his mid section, hoisting him up and yanking him out of the bar stool. She'd never be able to do lift him but with the help of the Witchblade she could lift a car over her head.
"Lets go old man, we need you outside."
She hurried outside with the 'drunk' Logan outside.
"I Got mine. You got yours. How about we high-tale it out of here?"
