**Maggie flickers in, kneeling as she examines a tear in the sleeve of a small shirt* -- mend it, but Will, ye must try and mind ... *she trails off as she looks up to see her son no longer in front of her. She glances around, first spotting Luke, and then, to her surprise ..*
Kyle! *she smiles and starts to rise to her feet*

Maggie! *Kyle jumps off the bar stool and runs over Maggie and throws his arms around her waist giving her a big hug*

*Maggie catches Kyle as he runs over and hugs him tightly, then steps back enough to look at him* Heavens, I think ye've grown since I saw ye last. *She keeps an arm around him and looks over to Luke* And I see ye've met Luke, now.
How are ye both?

Good! *Kyle grins* I met Luke and Sato and I found a sword and Sato is from space and she's in the military even though she's a girl and she has a robot and she's never seen the ocean and then Luke let me try like vodka and it was gross and and you showed up and now I'm really happy.

*Maggie can't help smiling at Kyle's reaction to Luke's offer, and more so as he takes her hand . . . but then, before she knows it, he's gone. She lets her hand fall back to her side* Another time, Kyle .. *she promises, even though he can't hear it*
*And then she turns back to Luke, shaking her head with an expression of mixed amusement and exasperation* Really, of all things te give the child.

Half a - !? *Maggie looks alarmed for a moment, then shakes her head and laughs* Ye're dreadful. *but there's no bite to the scold*
*She glances over the spot where Kyle was just standing* 'Twas good te see him, though, and looking so well. He seems te appear so rarely, here ... *her expression fades slightly, replaced by a worried sort of look*
