Yeah. The story that went with that evolution which had the mermaid tail was that the mermaid was the most beautiful of the merpeople, but when she found out she didn't have a soul she got pissed. She then found a magic blade which, if used to kill people, you could get their soul in the form or a string of pearls, so she's been going around killing people for centuries. 3nodding
