A nurse nodded as someone told her to go tell the king that Kathryn had passed. Walking to the throne room, she knocked on the door. The nurse sighed, waiting, not hoping to disturb him.

Wandering for hours, he slightly recognized the forest, as it ended in a open wasteland. Signs indicate it was burned, as the ground was black of ashes. Ruins of houses could be seen, indicating a village was once here. Falling to his knees, his eyes opened wide in a shock, now remembering where he wandered in. This was the last village that was burned to the ground by his army. It happened right before the messenger brought him the letter of the peace treaty. If the messenger arrived sooner this village would still be here, like nothing happened. A single tear rolled over his cheek, then darkness blocked his sight, falling into a slumber as the alcohol kicked in.

Opening his door, he peeked out at the nurse. "Yes, what may I do for you?"
As she began to run away, he laughed, chasing her. "Come on Amaya, I won't hurt you. Maybe tickle you, but definitly not hurt you!" Leaping at her ankle, he missed and only splashed down under the water. Coming back up, he sighed. "You're pretty fast," he told her, watching her swim away.

"I'm good at that!" She called, laughing a little. Saber stood up after smelling the air and barked, making Amaya glare as she got out of the water. She called Crow over and got out of the water, stepping behind the horse as she changed into her usual warrior outfit, pulling the mask over her mouth and nose once more. "There's a syrian in the forest of death." She explained, getting up onto Crow.

As she said the word 'syrian', he scrambled out, changing behind Syra. Putting his wet clothes in the pack he had put the shirt in, he got up on Syrva. "What? You mean there's a Syrian in Keros?" Clicking his heels to Syrva's sides, she walked up next to Crow. "I'm going with you." He told her, already knowing what she was going to do. IF it's one of my people, they'll listen to me."

"Fine. Please just listen if I tell you to leave." She sighed, pushing Crow to a dangerously fast speed, leaping from rock to rock. They soon approached the dead forest, and Amaya slowed Crow to a quiet trot as Saber lead them to the Syrain. Jumping off her horse, she ran up and pointed a scimitar into his back. Turning him,she gasped and dropped the scimitar, letting it clang to the ground. "Prince Xander!?" She exclaimed.

Nodding, he had Syrva follow, keeping up with them. "Come on girl, you'll be fine," he continuously encouraged her to keep going as she jumped around, imitating Crow's actions. As they came to the forst, though, Roran gasped as he saw his brother lying on the floor. "Xander!" He cried, jumping from Syrva and running over to his brother. Falling to his side, he shook the Prince's shoulder. "He's breathing, maybe passed out." Sniffing his brother's breath, it reeked of alcohol. Chuckling, he sat back, sighing with relief. "He was drunk and passed out, most likely."

"He scared me!" Amaya sighed, shaking her head. Saber sniffed him a few times and then lay down, not sure what else he was supossed to do. "Do your brothers do things like this often?" She sighed.

Laughing at what she said, he shook his head. "No, Xander doesn't. He's very disciplined. Mostly by himself. He would only do this if he knew he had nothing to worry about for a long time. And with peace now coming, he doesn't need to worry about anything at all. He's done this two other times, and that's it. Though he could've gotten himself killed this time." Shaking his brother's shoulders, he whispered to him. "Wake up Xander. Wake up."

"Let's just take him back to the castle so he can rest there." Amaya told Roran, kissing his cheek as she sheathed her scimitar. "Can Syrva carry two people?" She asked, making sure it wouldn't strain the horse.

"Syrva carried you back to the castle with me on her back. Remember?" Picking his brother up, he got him up on Syrva, Roran sitting up behind him. Clicking his heels into her side, she went into a slow trot, but he stopped her from going too far. "Hey, let's go," he winked to her, beckoning her with his head.

"Oh yeah. I forgot." Amaya laughed a little, climbing up on Crow. She sent Saber off into the woods and she pulled Crow to another path. "If we are carrying a passenger, then we should take a lighter road." She told him as Crow began trotting down an easy path.

The nurse cleared her throat, and looked at the king. "Um...well...something has happened to you neice...Princess Kathryn was diagnosed with a terminal illness...and just died a few hours ago..." Taking a step back, she didn't want the same thing to happen with Prince Akori.

"W-w-what?!? Katy is....d-d-dead?" Bursting out of his room, he rushed to the medical ward.
Nodding, he had Syrva follow, thankful for the flat road to walk on, instead of the jumps.
