His eyes were still blank when he sat up, taking her in his arms gently. "I'm alright." he said quietly. It would take hima few seconds to realize that Ran was dead and the peice of his soul that was missing was actually where Ran and he had been connected. He hadn't realized it was such a big part of him until it died out. When Ran had destroyed his own body he had felt it but it had been nothing this intense.

He patted her back, then rubbing it. His eyes were still blank and he stayed silent for a few minutes before taking a deep breath. "Ran....is dead." He said slowly and hesitantly. Tears were still streaming down his cheeks and he was hugging her lightly.

He shook his head and looked down. "I need to figure out how it happened. I need to talk to my uncle and figure out what's going on. I just, I just don't know. First Kari-chan, then Ran-kun." He closed his eyes and took in a deep breath. "I have to tell Kisa-chan." He said, standing up slowly.

He didn't say anything for a minute. "You, can come with me to tell Kisa. If you want. But, you can't go with me if I talk to my uncle. You wouldn't survive in hell. And they may not even realize who I am when I go. It'd be too dangerous."

He nodded and then kissed her forhead. "Thank you. Will you wait at my apartment for me after we tell Kisa?"

He nodded and took her hands in his. "You have my word I will return. My uncle would not kill me, no matter how angry he gets at me. There is an advantage to having somewhere around fourteen older brothers that would give him more than he could handle as far as stress goes." He stoped and searched out Kisa's energy, tracking it to the industrial part of town. He gently picked November up, opened her window, and jumped out. He caught himself with his winged ankles and headed for Kisa's location.

::startled, she holds onto him tightly before relaxing, trusting he wouldn't drop her. however, she couldn't help but worry about him.... as close as he was to Ran, despite all of Ran's attempts to hurt him, losing his best friend could not be easy::

Cain held November carefully but gently. It did not register on him that his eyes still had no emotion in them and that they were completely blue. This would have worried Kuroi if he could see him since this is not really normal for a demon, though Novemebr probably wouldn't know that. He flew at a moderate speed, somewhat prolonging telling Kisa of her brother's demise, unbeknownst to him, she already had a pretty good idea.

Cain gently settle down onto the grass, setting November on her feet. The smell around the building was overwhelming to a devil and he couldn't go in. He dropped to his knees and tried to cover his nose, just wanting the smell out.
