"GO ARBOK!!! KILL THAT THING! Use Iron Tail!" The over enthusiastic guard shouted at his pokemon. "ARBOK!!" The pokemon shouted just as enthusiastic. "Well you are an enthusiastic one." Tsunami said to the pokemon as she nimbly avoided the attack. "But you are lacking the in brains and elegance department I believe." She taunted as a powerful Water Gun blasted the monster back. Once again it came foreward to strike, this time with a Poison Fang attack.
It's teeth glinted a deep purple and as it's jaws snapped shut inches from Tsunami's leg drops of poison could be seen flying. "Watch out for that one Tsu." Mag said out loud deciding it would be better to get the point across. Tsunami nodded and hit Arbok with another Water Gun right in his gaping jaw. It gagged a bit and looked to his trainer for advice.

"Ah right then!" Rin said grinning from ear to ear. "Let's try another Dragon Rage, but let's have a little fun this time. Make one really big shot in the air!" The young trainer pointed straight into the sky as Kuya the Dratini launched a massive ball of blue flames into the air. It seemed to hang there, suspened. The little girl scout looked baffled, simplying staring at the ball of flames and back at Rin. She must be thinking how stupid I am, to not have aimed at that Ditto thing. Rin's grinned grew even wider, if that was possible as she directed her Pokemon to launch a Twister at the Dragon Rage. A weak one.
The miniature tornado flew upwards shattering the flames into pieces. "Beautiful Kuya!" Rin cheered watching the attack rain down onto the copy. Suddenly realizing what was going to happen the girl shouted, "Twister!" But by that time it was too late. The Ditto suffered a decent amount of damage from the rain of flames. "Ditto use Wrap!" she countered. The clone leaped forwards squeezing the life force out of Kuya. "Counter with Leer!" Rin cried, beginning to panic slightly. Kuya shot the Ditto a venomous glare, but it didn't loosen it's hold as Rin had hoped it would.
"Dragon Rage!"
"Thunder Wave!"
They shouted in unison. Ditto reared it's head back slightly releasing a ball of blue flames at Kuya at the exact moment Kuya shot a bolt of electric at Ditto. The two shots collided causing an explosion and dust to cover the entire field.

The rocket looked dumbfounded that his Arbok was losing to anything. "What is this crud? You stupid snake kill that thing! Use Poison Sting followed by Wrap to get it unDER CONTROL!!" the man yelled looking as if he himself had lost control.
Okay Tsunami. Make sure you are good and wet so you can slip out of his grasp, then use Surf on him. I think that will finish it off. Mag thought to his pokemon. I understand. Tsunami began to spray a water gun into the air causing a slight drizzle to go on the arena and everything was coated in a slippery layer of h2o.
Arbok charged foreward launching many needles at Tsunami. A few hit but they weren't enough to do any real damage and they did not poison her luckily. As she avoided most of them the monster slithered by and wrapped himself around her. But it was to no avail since they were both wet and slippery she slid right out from his clutches comepletely safe but he was about to be sorry.
For a wave of water had formed from the water on the ground (and from nowhere) and was coming straight at him. "ARBOK!!!" it squeaked as it slunk away from the wave twards it's master. Both were hit in the cascade and were swept down the tunnel. "ARG!!! I'll BE BAAAAaaaaaccccck!" the Rocket shouted as he was drowned away.

"Wha . . . " Lyn said looking around as she was woken by Z's shaking. "The ferry is here. We have to get going." Z said standing up and yawning. He stretched his arms a little and walked toward the ferry. Lyn followed a few feet behind him. "Your tickets?" A man asked them and Z and Lyn took them out of their pockets showing them to him. "Thank you and enjoy your trip." The man said taking their tickets and letting them onto the large boat. Another man led them to their rooms. They each had a single bed and their rooms had a door to the other's room to their dismay. "You are not allowed in my room." They said to each other grumpily. "Fine!" They replyed and entered their rooms, slamming the door. Z saw that there was a computer in his room and decided to surf the web. Z checked his email and saw that he had mail from someone with the email address FRRYSTFF. Z didn't know anyone by that username and wondered who it was.

Going up to the counter which was just as tall as her, she placed Storm's pokeball on it. "Nurse, I have a pokemon that I would like you to make sure is rested up when I come get it in the morning." She said forcefully staring straight ahead into the counter.
Nurse Joy who had been a bit bored jumped slighlty at the girl's assertiveness. "Huh? Oh sure." She said a bit shakily taking the pokeball from the counter. "May I have your name for when you pick it up?" She asked politely.
"My name's Toph, you let people stay here for the night right?"
"Umm well yes we do."
"Good." Was all she said befor she walked off to find herself a small room. If anyone was in it they wouldn't be there for very long. Edge followed her closely looking at everything in the center.

After a little bit of thinking Z realized that it was probably from the ferry staff. The began to read the mail they sent him. "Welcome passenger this e-mail has been sent to inform you of some of the special activities that take place on our ferry. On the outside portion of the ship pokemon battles and training are allowed. On the lower deck you can go swimming and there are go relax. There are also massages and other spa activities available there. . . " That was as far as Z got before he got out of his chair and sprinted out of his room to go train with Shino. This was a perfect opportunity to practice for the contest. "You going to train?" Someone asked behind Z. Z turned his head to see that it was Lyn running faster than usual. "Yep! You?" Z asked turning his head foreward again so he did not kill himself as he ran. "Going to spa." She said swerving around a young couple without losing even a little speed. "Cool." Z said smirking as they reached the door to the outside area. "Bye." Z said waving noncommitaly as he walked through. "Hn." Lyn replyed turning the other way and going down the stairs.

Unflinching, Flannery just continued to grace the battlefield with her determined smile. "Torkoal," she said assertively, "I want you to fire a Flamethrower into the Fire Spin!"
Torkoal gave an affirmative nod before the small tortoise reared back his head and loosed a stream of flames into the already swirling vortex surrounding the Crawdaunt. Resistant or not, it's gotta be getting uncomfortable amidst those scorching flames.

Falkner didn't seem phased in the least by the sudden Sandstorm that brewed. He used his hands to help shield his eyes, his demeanor still cool and aloof. "A little blinding sand never hurt anyone, especially a Pokemon with as keen vision as my cherished birds. Quick Spearow, use Double Team!"
Spearow, wincing as the sand stung the wounds it'd received from Spinarak's previous Poison Sting attempts, flapped its short wings rapidly to gain altitude. Once it had risen about ten feet from the ground, the small sparrow gave a shrill cry as its body split into copies of itself, all using the swirling sands to help themselves coast around the battlefield.

Kasiya sighed, watching Casimir as he tried to look at the Soothe Bell that had just been placed around his neck. Kasiya laughed slightly, ignoring the venemous glare the dark Pokemon shot at her. "Oh, I almost forgot!" the girl exclaimed, bending down and reaching into her backpack. After a few moments of rumaging around, she came up with the silvery blue TM that contained Aerial Ace. "I'm sure you'll like this one," she added, gently pressing the disc to the Absol's forehead. The dark Pokemon closed its eyes, the knowledge of the new attack settling into his mind. The disc turned a dull, steely grey, and Kasiya replaced it in its case, deciding to dispose of it later. Casimir opened his eyes, and for the first time, he seemed to show something other than violence. A near respectful-gleam shone in his eyes for a split second, but it soon passed, and deciding that leaving him free to roam would probably be a bad idea, Kasiya held up the black and yellow Ultra Ball, and recalled him.
"Now what?" Kasiya asked Mitsu, also recalling the very-large Arcanine, and Shocker, who'd been glancing up at the sky in disdain. Seto remained by her side now, his long tail gently moving from side to side, content to have his trainer's hand resting on his head, between his ears.

"Double team huh, lets take them all out at once! Put your all into it Larvitar!" Larvitar closed it's eyes and concentrated harder, more and more sand rising and whiping around. The wind came into a closer area as it concentrated into a narrow cyclone that surounded Larvitar's body. Slowly the swurling vortex of sand turned and began to chase the many Spearow in the air.

Ky searched as hard as he could into the Sandstorm, trying not to lose sight of the battle. Eventually, Ky happened to notice Falkner's Spearow riding the Sandstorm's winds. To his surprise though, more Spearow appeared right behind it, looking no different from the first. Ky grinned.
"Using Double Team in a Sandstorm is like throwing a pin into a haystack. Let's hope that that Larvitar can keep its focus. Double Team is confusing, but it has its flaws," Ky said.
"You know, you look really weird talking to yourself," a familiar voice commented. Ky turned to see his brother Al, scratching his head in embarassment.
"It's just I..., I just get excited when watching matches. I feel like I want to be in there right now, making decisions for that guy," Ky explained.
Al just crossed his arms. "Well, that's not going to happen if you don't work towards it. Shouldn't you be training now? You haven't been doing anything since you graduated."
"That's not true. That's what I'm doing here. Look!" Ky defended himself, pointing to Little Guy. To Ky's dismay though, Little Guy had fallen asleep, perched in the same position. Al held in his laughter as Ky shook his fist in anger. "Little Guy! How do you expect to pay attention in a battle if you can't pay attention watching a battle?!" Ky shouted. Little Guy woke up from Ky's yelling and looked a bit sad and confused as to why his trainer was angry with him.
"Oh, don't mind him. This stuff is boring to me too. But, he is kinda right. Since you haven't seen a battle before, this is a good example of what you might be facing, so pay attention, k?" Al said to Little Guy, adding a reassuring smile.
Ky couldn't help but love his little brother. For being so young, he sure was insightful and kind to Pokemon. He'd easily become his rival in due time.

Z was amazed as he stepped out onto the crowded deck. The view of the ocean was breathtaking and many trainers and co-ordinaters where training with their pokemon. There were many spectators as well. All of the trainers were standing in the middle of the deck on various battle and training arenas. All of the spectators either just stood and wwatched or were sunbathing. Z charged through the wall of spectators to enter the trainers ring. "Lets go Shino!" Z said clicking the button on his pokebal once to enlarge it and then a second time to release Shino. He clipped the ball back on his belt and gave Shino a tight hug having not seen him in a while. "Lets practice a little bit for our battle with Misty and the contest." Z said setting him down and smirking. "Nin!" Shino agreed. "Now use silver wind and create a spinning ball of wind!" Z yelled and the small wings on Shino's back began to flap making a chirping sound. He opene dhis mouth and glittering wind shot out of it, tying itself into a tight swirling knot. "Oooh!" The crowd said as they saw the large glittering ball of air.

"Mike's going to get another badge no doubt, and I'm about to be behind by two badges, and well..." She paused and looked down at the floor as if she were a bit unsure that if she challenged Norman that she would come out victorious. Karri's voice echoed within her own mind. She looked back up a small smile playing across her lips, "I want to catch up. And I'm not too keen on waiting for a battle with Flannery, so I was hoping to challenge Norman."
Ebony jump up and punched his fist into the air, ripping a near by bush out of the ground. Mitsu chuckled a bit as the Gengar attempted to place the bush back. "That move is going to be really useful," Mitsu said to the Ghost Pokemon. "You'll be the star of our gym battle Ebony!" Mitsu flashed him a smile before turning back to Kasiya. "Would you like to come? Or, if I'm not mistaken, you have a gym battle of your own back in Kanto right?"

The smoke cleared slowly, just like in the movies. Two figures could be seen in the middle of all the carnage. Both fainted. "Good job Kuya!" Rin said recalling the Dratini. "Ditto! Return!" the little girl cried before letting loose a Vulpix. "I'm counting on you Pixie!" Rin wanted to laugh at the Pokemon nickname, but she kept to herself, merely allowing a small smirk. "Looks like's you're all I got left Mizu!" Rin stated throwing th Pokeball forwards. The sphere spun into the air as it rolled off her fingertips unleashing a crimson colored light onto the field that soon morphed to form the figure of a Totodile.
Mizu laughed hopping from one foot to the other. "Mizu, start off with a Water Gun!" The small Water Pokemon launched a steady stream of water at the Vulpix who nimbly leapt to the side completely avoiding the assult. "Quick Attack!" the little scout countered. Vulpix quickly turned and race forwards slamming all her weight into the attack sending Mizu rolling backwards. "Don't take that! Show 'em what you got Mizu! Use your Dragon Claw!" Mizu hopped back up on her feet and race forwards her fist glowing a bright orange.

After double checking that the Rocket was actually gone and that this new person wouldn't hurt him the Nerdy kid finally got up off the ground and dusted himself off. "Well thanks for saving my Kabuto." He said as he looked away.
"Wow you have a Kabuto? Those are supposed to be extinct right? Can I see?" Mag asked as he enthusiastically waved his arms in the air with his sentence. "Uh.. Sure?" the kid said releasing the pokemon. It appeared in a flash of white. A brownish dome shaped pokemon with yellow feet. "Kabuto!" It exclaimed.
"That is really neat. I'm glad I saved it." Mag said. "So what's your name?" He asked the kid. "I'm Jerry." the boy said picking up his pokemon which squeaked happily at being held by his trainer.
