((I got tired of your damn dodging. This fight has gone on long enough))
The blasters splashed against Mandalore's Lightshield, scattering harmlessly into sparks.
Mandalore laughed.
"You just gave me the excuse I needed to stop kriffing around with you. Wedge!"
Wedge tosed Mandalore his pistol and he snatched it out of the air. with the speed of an ace gunfighter, Mandalore fired the Mandalorian Disintegrator, sending a powerful wave of deadly disruption energy straight at Ordo.
Knowing he was liekly dead, Ordo moved as much as he could, letting his mangled arm get vaporized into dust as he took the shot he had and launched the dart, screaming at hyper-velocity into the Mandalorian's neck, piercing what armor and skin was there, and injecting him with the neural serum, paralyzing him instantly. The Overlord crumbled to the ground, his arm chewn off, moaning in agony as the beam finished it's work on his shoulder. He couldn't fight any more, but neither could the other; essentially, stalemate.

(There, happy?)

((very.))
The Dart stuck in Mandalore's neck.
Mandalore did not crumple. He did not even flinch.
He merely reached his hand up and pulled it out.
"Neural serum. Nice tool. Unfortunately it needs to strike something organic to work." Mandalore said mildly as he dropped the dart.
"Ten years ago I lost a good chunk of that."
He loaded another cartridge into his disintegrator pistol and walked over to Ordo.
"You have no idea what I'm willing to do for my people, Boy. What extents I will go to secure their safety. I even died once for them."
He kicked Ordo over and aimed the gun at his head.
"Ordo. You've lost."

The Overlord had lost, but that didn't stop him. "I don't care. I'm dying in battle. I don't care what happens to me, but I know you're the worst piece of sith spit in the galaxy that you would let your people die just for vengeance."

He coghed, blood erupting from his mouth and splattering the inside of his helmet. "You've failed to protect your people, and you ultimately failed to defeat me. It may not be now, or even ten years from now, but our people will die, and it will be all... your... fault..."

And then he died.

Borill watched his status displays carefully, "Thats it, all stop... Go to sensor stealth mode... This air cooridor may stop the eyes of our enemies and most sensor reading, lets make sure there's nothing here for them to detect." Glancing at his displays he looked at the position of the lonely Wombat II assigned to the skirmish position, around it a swarm of fighters clustered. It would be the only ship visible to the enemy once they arrived.

Beside him Kusei stirred, "Ordo is dead, the Mandalorians on Dxun have begun pledging themselves to Mandalore the Immortal. We'll see no more trouble from that moon."

"Good," Borill answered leaning back in the command chair, "I'm surprised the people on Dxun would change hands so readily."

Kusei glanced at the Imperial, "The one called Ordo revealed his true nature in the fight, even if he had won the Mandalorians on Dxun would not follow him. He tried to talk his way out of a challenge, and no Mandalorian respects leadership without the challenge of personal combat."

Admiral Elsyn nodded, "Nothing like a display of cowardice by your leader to cut faith in him."

Mandalore watched the man die.
And he unloaded the Disintegration charge into Ordo's face.
"Thats for being so damn blind."
He turned away from the headless corpse, holstering his Mandalorian Disruptor.
"Wedge. Tell your sister that Dxun is ours. By rite of combat and by his own dishonor, Orverlord Ordo has given the Moon to me."

Iust realized that the conversation in question did not involve him and thought it best that Iria and whatever she saw had some privacy so he walked back out into the hallway. Might as well try guard duty, he thought. Leaning up against the cold steel wall of the hallway he reflected upon the events leading him to the current situation. Where do we go from here? What's going to happen next?

Iria walked back into the hallway, and she knew Iust's stance well enough to reckon he was on guard duty.
"Sorry to keep you waiting," she offered, favoring him with a slight bow of her head. "There's one more thing to do here, before we leave," she stated, gesturing back to Sarton's office.

She then consulted the various computer terminals in the office, keying in commands feverishly, as she sought the prize described by her "mother".

And, there it was: Personel file: Brunhildt, Mordranna C., Colonel.

"There we go," Iria said, pulling out a data disc that she found in Sarton's desk, and awaited it's download.

A few moments later, she was rewarded with a tiny green light and chime, the display reading Download Complete. With the prize, she then re-united with Iust. "Allright. There doesn't seem to be much else here for now," she said.

Just at the worst time, Elladan's ships came into the area, ready to assault. Reviweing the situation, he was most displeased: Onderon defenses had fallen short, and Dxun had been taken over by Mandalore the Immortal. Ordo had failed.

Luckily, however, all of his bothan-friend's ships were in the air between Dxun and Onderon, all clustered together in a nice pack. He grinned. "Let's give them a what-for."

As he gave the command for the Candeouses and other craft to unload their salvos into the air, sensors disrgearded, Elladan received the tip-off from his own Mandalore. "My people are turning torwards that traitor now." He paused, then continued. "Chiss, I don't care what it takes, make sure he doesn't get off that moon. If he wants it so damned bad, he can have it."

The chiss frowned, but nodded. "Zeltilla will be pleased to know the Mandalorians are no longer a threat."

Mandalore the Conquerer, livid as can be, immediately reached for the datapad containing the commands Ordo had left. Always prepared, the man had always had a contingency plan incase anything happened; now it was time to follow through with it.

Ordering his officers to stabilize the feed between his command ship and Dxun, Mandalore entered the thirteen-digit passcode that activated the single thermal grenade remotely, which set off, igniting about a hundred over strategically placed ones around the Dxun base. In a matter of nano-seconds, the dozens of Class-A bombs that had accumulated over the years turned the Mandalorian base into a seven-meter deep smoking crater.

As soon as the blast subsided, he contacted those who survived. "By order of Mandalore the Conquerer, all Mando'ade are to surrender AT ONCE and subvery allegiance back to me. Those who refuse will be branded Dar'manda and executed."

He turned to his officers. "Contact the crew and other ships, and have the secure all frequencies. The moment there's even a .005% chance we might get boarded, I want that LT Transverter activated, and any ram ships annihalated, regardless of contents. Am I clear?"

The first officer nodded, and immediately began relaying those orders. "Yes, Mandalore."

"Good." He turned his attention back to the planet-sized moon, awaiting some kind of word back. He didn't expect his rival to be dead, but after what the Dar'manda had done, he deserved no less. He would kill the man himself.

"Let's head back to the ship then, I don't want to stay in this place any longer than I have to," Iust said to her as he started to move back down the hall way towards where their ship was. Upon reaching the exit Iust sees that a ship other than the Firestorm had landed as well.

"Get back, we've got company." Iust ordered Iria has he moved back into the bunker and drawed his blasters. Has Ozrich sold us out? If he did inform Graka about me he has signed his life away then.

Borill's laughter echoed through the ships bridge as laser fire leapt from the enemy fleet, both well out of range and attempting to find one six hundred meter long starship and a 4.8 Kilometer carrier hiding in a band of air thousands of kilometers across. Though it was a wispy thread of air between Dxun and Onderon by the planetary scale... it was an enormous area to hide two starships and a couple hundred starfighters. The probability of a shot landing on just one of his ships from across the vast distance was in the millions if not billions.

The star frigate that he'd sent out as bait wasn't even being targeted... It seemed utterly stupid of the enemy commander. Already the ship was turning away from the enemy fleet and gunning its engines. Even if they had targeted her all the energy from their weapons systems would have been expened by the time it reached the ship. The captain in charge also realized this and slowed to a plodding course as his starfighter and patrolcraft escorts hovered in close guard formation.

Borill grinned, Turbolasers had a maximum effective range of less then a hundred kilometers, firing them from the thousands of kilometers away that they had dropped from hyperspace at was nothing more then a waste of Tabanna.

The officers around the bridge shook their heads, even with their lack of combat knowledge they knew the absolute futility of shooting from such a great astronomical distance. Hitting ground targets with double tabanna and energy settings from half that distance was easy, hitting ships that was something nearly impossible.

Suddenly a sensor operator spun from her station, "Sir, explosion detected on Dxun!"

The glee on Borill's face evaporated, "What!"

"The enemy leadership just blew up the Colony... I've lost contact with Mandalore the Immortal and..." Krusei seemed disturbed by the news.

Kusei straightened as news reached her from Dxun, "The enemy leaders on Dxun are threatening to execute those that fail to follow their orders. Over half of their followers have refused, and the others have taken up arms against their leaders. Their conduct has made it clear that they are the true enemies of the Mando'ade people. They blew up a facility filled with women and children, those that lost loved ones will not stop until those that pushed the buttons for the bombs have their heads upon a pole in a square on Mandalore. They have just lost all support they once held with their people... Only those that are cowards and afraid of a righteous death will fight for those that betrayed and murdered their own."

" I sense other Jedi, I think... " Angel thought, standing around nowhere specific and looking around, just passing the time while her crew kept going around exchanging the random salvage and other things to whoever would buy them. " Meh, I'm starting to wish I was never a Fore adept. Then again, it helps in a lot of situations. " She went deep in thought, wondering where to go next and what to do.

Iria stood behind Iust, waiting tensely, also taking note of the old style Lambda-class shuttle parked in the nearby field.

"Wait," Iria said, concentrating on the Force, even as her hand brushed her lightsaber. "Their Force signature ... feels like Jedi,"

After the third salvo, Elladan ordered a ceasefire. Since his ships they were still out of range, he let his ships get closer before giving the order to fire again.

As Gunther followed closely behind Kalnar, the Mon Cal Jedi master called out to a couple of figures near the forebodding compound.

"Identify yourselves and be known!" Kalnar commanded in a mellow but firm voice.

((Hello... Are you listening? You have to find my ships before you can kill them. You still haven't targeted the Wombat II thats shaking it's a** in your face.))

Borll almost laughed once more as the Mandalorian ships opened up a second volley, closer, but still not in effective range. The Star frigate that had been two hundred klicks out from the air cooridor continued to plod forward, it's escorts still lazily watching the turbolasers fly past and enter the air cooridor, still missing.

The captain was sick of being ignored, he orderd his batteries to open up on the mandalorians, still far out of range. Hoping to at least attract some attention to his ship's presence. Not all of Borill's vessels were hidden in the air cooridor, and the enemies complete ignorance of the one visible vessel was just plain sad.

Onboard the Hektor's Shield Kusei glanced to the Imperial Admiral, "Sir, I'd like to have access to your comm gear. If the mandalorians aboard the enemy fleet learn of what happened on Dxun..."

"Can you penetrate their encryption systems?" Borill asked cooly.

Kusei straightened, "I wrote the encryption software..."

Borill gestured to one of the comm terminals, "Then by all means."

Kusei stepped beside the console and pulled a droid interface cable from a her helmet and plugged it into the droid interface beside the console. She closed her eyes and her mind began whipping through the assemblage of encrytion and code, "They changed it, but not much... I'll break through in just a few minutes."

Glancing at the holo Borill shrugged, "We've got time. He seems scared stiff to engage us on our terms. At this rate he might as well withdraw... I won't be drawn into an open engagement, not with a force as small as mine, against his fleet."
