[Nowhere. :Flex:]

Alas, Barsait expected as much. Too rarely did an action go on perfect - both for he . . . and for his opponent.

"Good!" His voice quickly commended the shift closer & the new revolution, for this carried on the skirmish longer than intended. However, if it got down to endurance of pain - his chain mail, literally a sheet of chained mesh not akin with chain plating, would not have any true 'joints'. Therefore, while it did begin to dig into his skin, it was a pain much less than say, taking a direct blow to the body. Which, to an extent, had occurred; though thanks to that metal beneath his clothing, the powerful ankle blow's grandeur was reduced to that of a mild strike. Enough for a soft exhale from the mercenary's lips, in reconfirmation of it striking - but not enough for any grand effect.

His left hand, despite the awkward angle, flicked two fingertips upon Snow's katana edge; and between that gauntlet material, further held the weapon in place along with the edge of his hand plate. Despite the man's intentions, Omi did not intend for it to go anywhere. And then, his right hand did something most simplistic: Snow's right arm & his own were quite close. Enough so, that he managed to wedge his hand over the man's shoulder, and flick Caladbolg's rear edge, nearer the handle, a few inches from Snow's neck. There was no resistance to this from the man's position, for while the shoulder coming so close would have stopped the blade from immediately swinging horizontally - it did nothing to stop the hand from merely rising the raised altitude of the shoulder, then resume it's course.

And there, the edge was held. Not coming to Snow's throat, nor neck side, nor even into his shoulder so close.

Quickly, his voice became audible, more strained with their enclosed position - though still friendly enough: "Awful close to an unpleasant location there, sir. Care to call this round a draw and begin anew?"

....Curses.

Another mistake on Snow's part. Only by commencing the attack did Snow realize how bad it was on his part.

Not enough damage. Not enough charge and attack to injure the foe at all. He should've added more strength behind the attack, and perhaps not aim for Omi's torso.
His grip on Omi's wrist could've been placed differently; instead of grabbing it, Snow should have had it glide up Omi's arm, landing a harsh blow right on the opponent's throat with his knuckles.

Or, perhaps yanking the katana away from Omi's position, doing a spin tangent around Caladbolg during the pull so that Snow can perform another slash, this time at Omi's back neck or right torso....

But with the die cast, there's nothing else to do, but to acknowledge the mistake.

Still balancing himself on one leg, Snow slowly lowered his other foot, giving a mutual look at Caladbolg's uncomfortable closeness to his own neck. "It seems that I underestimated your armor....."

A bit of silence as Snow slackened his grip on Omi's wrist. "Very well. But prepare yourself for the next round..." He muttered with a small pout, pushing himself away from Omi before turning around, getting to a decent distance for the next round.
PostPosted: Tue Feb 06, 2007 6:50 pm

Where Snow gave a small, reasonable pout - Omi only chuckled lightly, nodding in agreement and backing away as well. Once again, putting distance between the two; twirling the Caladbolg in the air idly as he stepped backwards. So, it seemed the first encounter was his; but likely, the same trick would not work twice. Thus, Barsait did give a suggestion as he forewent his previous path:

"What say, we pick this up a notch? Eh? Obviously, to be in a tournament like this of freaks & bastards, you must have far more to you than just the utilization of a silver katana, friend.." Smirking, his left hand rose up in the quiet, dimly lit air of the night. Slowly, a red glow began to form at the palm of the gauntlet; more accurately, that disturbing light was flowing from beneath his gauntlet. Likely from his flesh, and onto that condensed point. . . "I apologize if this isn't very refined. I've never really utilized this in such a manner, so forgive me if it's a little.." Suddenly, the ground about him was no longer dimly lit. It was basked in the glow of flowing embers. "..Unpolished.."

A 'serpent'. Omi's left palm was guiding out a small, serpent-shaped red light that extended some three feet from the exterior of the gauntlet outward. Then another. Then another and another, all winding about one another in a torrent of red, ominous radiance, before igniting all at once. Two feet in diameter, total of four feet high from the palm until it's "edge", the flames gave off hot air that threatened to burn one's flesh at the touch . . . Effectively, the mercenary was wielding at his left hand, a mystic-esque "Sword of Flames". Albeit, the name was quite literal in this case.

Standing upright this time, legs squared but even with one another & spreading a good two feet apart - his arms went to either side, blades outstretched to the right or left with their respective hand. Caladbolg in the right, and this emulated "sword" in the left. Then, once again, the mercenary called out, "Lower the handicap for yourself as well, and we'll begin whenever you wish. Feel free to take the first strike if you wish - again." If one thing was illuminated by the flames swarming from his hand, it was that gaze in his amber brown eyes. Calm as they were, they once again were homed in directly on Snow; their piercing quality now aided by that play of fire on his pupils. More than just glaring, it was as though he were boring right into Snow. An exacting kind of concentration..

Out of all the people he'd fought, Snow has almost no chance against fire users, especially those that can manipulate fire. With his skills revolving around, particularly, ice, it isn't amusing when the opponent has the advantage in firepower and defense.

"Not again..." He groaned, rubbing his forehead with irritation. Blades of grass around his feet begin to stiffen as a blue, misty aura expelled out of his body.

The ground froze momentarily.
Moisture in the air begin to condense, forming small droplets of frozen ice orbs. As the mist dissipated a few seconds later, the orbs expanded quickly in size, warmed up by the environment's temperature to explode in a misty haze.

For a while the area around Snow's parameter is completey obscured by that thick, white misty haze. If not for the continuous sounds of ice spreading out from where he stood, it is certainly noticeable how even in the warmth of Omi's flames, the air is starting to get pretty chilly now....

"Let's go." Snow finally said, a a sudden strong wind blowing the mist away, followed with some new adornments on Snow's body.

His armor on the hands is now visible, showing the bracers he wore which were shining in an odd, bluish tint. A slight transparent circle, slightly larger in size than his outstretched hand is seen around Snow's wrist, each end of the circle decorated with six diamonds, which upon closer looks seems to be made of ice. Flexing the hand a bit, Snow grabbed his katana once more, giving a light swing at the nearby tree.

Though quite a distance away - about three meters, per se - the length of the katana would seem to increase in distance to anyone watching the swing. And with that same swing, a clear crisp of the katana's slash would appear on the tree itself, followed by a thunderous shatter of the blade itself.

Feeling content with the result, Snow aimed the katana back at Omi, the original length unscathed, and unharmed.

The trick behind the length?
He'll reveal it soon in battle.

So, the ground about the opponent of Omi Barsait began to enter suspended animation.. than truly, Barsait pondered with a grin whilst keeping that same open position, the next 'round' would become rather interesting. Ah, but his anticipation had to remain at pace with caution; so, the mercenary gazed onward. Oddly, past the show of mist & the gradual drop in temperature abound - Omi did not shake at all. If anything, his posturing never truly changed from the beginning of the display to it's 'end'; save, his eyes were rapidly gazing in assorted directions. As though trying to make a synopsis of where the droplets of frozen ice were coming into fruition . . .

The voice of his opponent, however, cut through this display; the wind merely ushered it away in the aftermath. Then, Barsait's eyes finally seemed to react to what he saw; mild interest rung in his pupils during the test display of that katana. And if not mistaken, Snow was now sporting two blue-hued bracers of some odd ilk . . was he wearing them before? Omi could only assume not - at least, not those. Yet, all the mercenary did in response to this, was raise his left hand. Keeping Caladbolg at the same position it'd been at - pointing towards the ground diagonally - the festering blade of fire emitting from his left hand was pointed directly at Snow now.

The mercenary was no fool. He'd seen that katana strike at him before; while he wasn't entirely sure what was going on, he did know, it wasn't that long before.. perhaps, an illusion on Omi's visual? Some means of extending the metal? Regardless, the "blade" of Omi's continued to be held in place; the many individual 'serpents' coursing along it's length. That flaming blade seemed, fire and all, alive. Similar to an ever constant current.. just inches from the blade, the air was freezing cold. Yet, in the span of the blade itself, the air distorted & bent.. obviously: Beyond just being fire, the overall temperature of that flame manifestation was scorching. Even the immediate air about it contrasted the previous mist Snow had ushered fourth, for it seemed to whisp about like a serpent of it's own; waiting to strike with a horrifying level of heat..

Despite all this - the frozen display of Snow, the katana striking a distance thought immediately not possible - one thing remained true of the mercenary. The grin never left his face.

"I still offer you the first blow, if you desire it. Come!"

What better conflict in a battle, than a difference between fire and ice? Having no real solutions to actually defeat a fiery opponent, there is really no choice but for Snow to come up with some innovative strike techniques to use for this fight.

He eyed the opponent's weapon for a while.

Recalling many past experiences of fighting fire users, there were those that channeled the element of fire into their weapons, bolstering their attack strength and defense, as the scorching flames can act as a buffer against a strike, and in fact also damage the body by mere contact itself. But having multiple serpents, on fire, writhing in a shape of a sword?

This is going to be tricky...

While the air is still cold around Snow, droplets of moisture were clinging on the ground, dampening his boots and cloak with its dew. Hopping a few times to loosen up his muscles, it was then on the third hop that the wind around Snow expelled itself away from his position, causing a burst of momentum that propelled the Ice user at dazzling speed, ever so closer to Omi with that silly grin. His left Katana skidded amongst the ground behind him, bringing trails of occasional sparks in his wake. With the right Katana held in midair, aimed not at Omi's throat, but at Omi's chest from afar, Snow closed the distance in just a few seconds, getting ever so closer to that inevitable clash of swords.

Only then by a distance of 2 meters apart did Snow suddenly jump into the air a bit, raising the katana on his right to a stab...
And then stabbing the ground in front of him.

A rumbling sound echoed briefly beneath the ground before multiple large shards of ice exploded upwards into the air, ripping the ground apart in front of Snow. And at the speed that the ice is ripping up from the ground, it quickly made its way around Omi's position, zig-zagging to and fro, but with the main concentration of lethal shards ripping right towards the opponent's foot and torso.

It would leave the resulting ground covered with a decent layer of ice...which would cause trouble for the opponent himself to stand...

If he doesn't know how to skate.

A consecutive combo strike will occur depending on the situation, but if by any chance Omi does raise his blade or expose his left side to Snow, he would first yank his right Katana out of the ground first, then reveal the secret behind why his blade lengthened so long during the test strike.

The hint behind the trick?

Moisture on the blade. By collecting moisture in the air and concentrating it solely on the shaft of the blade, whenever Snow slashes, some of the water would flick off due to the swing, a bit of water following the path of the blade. But by freezing it during the slash, the water would remain connected with the blade, expanding itself and creating a mere illusion of the blade lengthening its lethal tip.
Due to the near transparency of the water, it's hard to tell at all the actual length of the katana when water is used. The sad drawback is that it's easily countered by strong heat, but the ice shattering on the blade as a result can be turned to his advantage if Snow play his attacks correctly.

But judging how the opponent will respond, Snow will either swing the left katana in a diagonal slash up towards Omi's main body - which would be for Omi's perspective, his right torso or pelvis - from that same distance, using that lengthening strike to place a blow where the opponent will not realize until felt.

Hopefully, it will decieve the opponent into believing that Snow's blade can actually lengthen and strike at long range at will, when in fact it's the sharpness of the ice lengthening from his blade that's striking Omi's body.

The katana is just a tool used to focus the ability to a more precise tone.

Whilst Snow eyed his opponent, said opponent did something a little.. odd.

He rose Caladbolg, before resheathing it safely upon his back. Blade honing softly into place, until the sword guard clicked into place.

"Be honored.." His thoughts wearily came vocalized, right hand raising up with fingertips flowing through the air nimbly. "To perform this during a spar's quite unique.. Hope he's durable." Two hops of the cloaked man's body, followed by a third which began his momentum; such a quick dash, that even Barsait would have to commend the speed taken. A clash of katana metal with the ground; sparks singing to life in it's wake. Right katana risen, risen, central to Omi's chest..

Ah, but then all would go chaotic in a heartbeat. Two meters away, the man ascended just a tad, raising the katana to stab.. the ground? Not Barsait's body? Ah, but the overall result became instantly clear, for the ground before the mercenary began to freeze away. Crystallizing rapidly, until yes, the ground even beneath his feet was turned into a slick, frozen surface. Slowly, that grin of his faded into a more serious expression.. still no hesitation, but more of a dire persona rung of this.

The boots.

Durable treads lining their bottom, they were durable footwear made to dig into surfaces & keep one's balance; not necessarily made for a situation like this, but, they would keep Omi from just falling or outright losing his balance. Yet, rapidly moving away was, currently, out of the question thanks to this turn of events.. Yes, with the two katanas ready to either delve into a diagonal slash at his torso, or using the long-distance strike, it would appear the mercenary was in a poor situation. So, which would he try to deal with? The left katana, a full-force blow close in? The right katana, using that unnatural range to pick him apart from afar?

The answer for Omi Barsait was: Neither.

His right hand began extending it's index finger, prior to quickly retracting it. Ring finger pointing this way, thumb gesturing that; one could compare the odd motions they were making, to that of playing a piano, perhaps. Yet, suddenly.. that "blade of flames" began to delve out with a serpent-shaped tuff of heat, as the "mouth" opened like a true snake. Then, another tore outward. Then.. another.

Serpentine Manipulation
Omi Barsait's trademark specialty technique, the Serpentine Manipulation, is the basis of nearly all of his "abilities" - and, while not appearing much at first, is likely one of the most versatile techniques in existence.

Stemming from his blood itself, odd, red lights are extended by his will. And, at will, these can be ignited into embers; consequently, these flames can then be guided by Barsait. Often, the 'lights' take the shape of serpents, this being the easiest form to guide about; however, as this spar has shown, that light can be made to take quite a number of shapes. This leads to an extremely wide range of motion, thus, why it is dubbed a "Manipulation" technique. A twitch, if he acknowledges it so, could set off one of these 'serpents' into a fiery appendage..

However: It is not just "creating fire" from thin air, as many 'magics' often do. The strangest, yet most deadly element of this, would be just where the fire stems from. For you see, the Serpent Manipulation stemmed fire from one element. This element, bizarre enough, Omi could ignite in quite a volatile manner; for it was on the periodic table, the element O. Oxygen.

In this, lied the fearsome dominion Omi held over water & ice "users". Initially, Barsait could try and ignite such substances, since obviously, there is oxygen present in H2O. However, fire would not be created thanks to the nature of H2O; instead, the element "O" would, simply, cease to exist in the failed explosion.

However, what would that leave of the substance, if Oxygen is suddenly ripped away . . . ?

The answer: H to the 2nd Power. Or more commonly known as, Hydrogen Gas.

Flick. Another finger flicked out, as that "sword" had another branch, another Serpent, gush out & ignite in the air. Three serpents now, one roaring in at a speed slightly faster than the average punching speed of a limb - Omi's right hand was guiding them, one happily singing in on Snow's right hand. Another gestured at the left katana, the flames gushing fourth there intended to buffer & ward off the diagonal slash; and the third?

With one flick upward, then another down, the third Serpent arched up over both the combatants' heads.. then sung back down, intending to strike Snow right from above with that ripping force backing it's flames.

Round II had officially begun.

The key factor for Snow now is reaction. Fire is essentially lethal when coming into contact, and even for a ice user like him, it is not easy to just extinguish a blazing fire in a matter of seconds. A terrible amount of concentration and stamina is required just to produce enough disbalance in the air to negate the fiery flames.

And that's only for one cast.

Snow, already having much experiences against fire users, has devised a different tactical use this time. Instead of countering extreme heat against extreme cold, there is a vital flaw for fire users that he'd noticed for some time;
They need a fuel source. The manipulators of fire may excel in combat strength and damage, but all methods of such manipulations requires a channel - elemental requirements like oxygen, a spark, a supply of fuel to create a constant supply of energy for manipulation.

To fire users, oxygen is their biggest advantage, and their biggest weakness.

The rings surrounding his bracers suddenly whirled with a low hum as Snow devised the counter quickly. The icy-forms of diamonds which initially was dormant around the circles now whirled along with the rings. With the sound increasing in crescendo, Snow raised both his katanas high into the air before doing an X-slash, still at the same distance he was when he stopped away from Omi.
A strong wind expelled itself right out of Snow's bracers just as he slashed, causing the molecules into the air to be pushed back from the sudden concussion. Causing brief, yet strong turbulences around him, the serpents that Omi sent were either repelled back - or had their courses altered as the turbulences left by his slash caused multipled pockets of space in the air to be in a vacuum state.

Where no oxygen resides for just a few seconds.

The pockets of empty vacuum in the air surrounding Snow was enough to engulf the serpents when they passed through it, the strange flames literally dying out as they consume their own fuel without much realization.

And there it remained, just the source of the fuel as it fell to the ground in its liquid state of Omi's blood; the root of the source.

At the same time, the concussion force which left from the X-slash Snow gave hacked its way towards Omi's position, cutting the ground with small lashes on the ice, the rocks, the ground nearby with slash marks left in the wake. It isn't relatively enough to injure the opponent, but it's more than enough to give a scratch on any skin exposed to the violent ripples in the air.

Once Snow has done repelling the first wave, Snow would then judge the situation before either dashing in an arc now around Omi's position, drawing the outline of a circle on the ground with Omi at the center point, or respond to the deceptive blood, which may ignite on the ground...which Snow finds unlikely.

If by any chance Omi question where the wind came from, the answer is simple;

The rings revolving around his bracers are the key.

It acts primarily of two segments - an amplification tool, and a third type weapon for use. When Snow readied the X-slash that time, the rings were whirring with a low tune, if Omi can recall. Just as Snow slashed downwards, the rings used the revolving motion to suck in large quantities of air from behind Snow's body and elbow, expelling it out to add power and speed behind the slash. Since his katana can be used as a means to channel icy moisture to it, the rings also can channel the decrease of temperature into the wind, causing the force behind the molecules to dramatically increase in speed of its physical property.

The air from the slash then is thus turned into an accumulative strike, building up on the moisture left by the wake, and cutting past the temperature around the arena like a sharp sword.

And there, is Snow's counter against fire users.

By the Time the smoke had cleared this child of a opponent would realize that during the time he raised mentioned cannon.Ninig had moved his position and would be found holding that terrifying jagged peice of katana to his new targets neck.Sure it looked as though the target had been struck, but in reality that was just a tracer of ninigs essence that had been left unintentionally.

Strange how fighting such a powerfull being could change the playing field so dramatically.

If the boy made any movement at all.He would be split from the colarbone to the gut.A fairly easy angle, and it also ensured that even if he moved forward or dropped his weight,a sword would still be cutting through him.

A sudden ripple in the omniplane would fabricate across all levels of the planar time stream and manifest itself as a fluxuation in which causes distortion to cut through and alternate the function and time flow of the planes. This is due to a sudden disturbance in the planar matrix as a huge amount of energy flows throughout the omniplane on such a high level that it causes distortion to pulsate through each individual plane that actually seems to manifest as ripples and whatnot. This causes a planar scaled tremor to occur as a being of such power enters into the omniplanar space. The being begins to forge its own domain in which planar energies seem to gather and churn as the very realities seem to collide. This would cause a mainstream of affects as a massive new “demi-plane” would form and expand where other planes would be, throwing off track the planar balance in which all of the planes sustained.

Now this “demi-plane” that was forged of omniplanar energies would suddenly seem to be absorbed as the being would relinquish all of the energy containing and forging it and hold it within his own vast amount of power. He would suddenly target the material plane of existence and would begin to dissipate as currently he was nothing more then a massive body of energy siphoning, absorbing, expanding, and sustaining itself. All of these energies would begin to suddenly flow through to the material plane and such distortion would occur to make room for this body of energy. It was as if a small, tiny, remote, private, in-ground, backyard pool was suddenly home to a ship similar to the Titanic in size just plowing through at full speed and beyond.

Now, the huge amount of power and energy would begin to take a form forged of these energies. It would take the form of a corporeal representation perfectly crafted as if by the divine. Planar energies would utterly construct each quark, string, strand of DNA, etc to form the perfect being. A man would manifest from the theophany of energies and he would look as every other normal being that walked the planes and could manipulate time space and reality at mere will and so much more...

As he would stand, he would be about 5’7 and approximately 175 pounds. He would have soft blue optics hidden by his blood red hair that would reach about mid back and secured in a low ponytail. Upon his forehead was an insignia that resembled a Broken Cross also known as Nero’s Cross, a Witches Foot, a Peace Symbol, and other names. Ironic actually how the Broken Cross mark is traditionally a symbol used for death...yet it’s used as the peace sign...

He would have a red-ish hue to his skin tone as it was so bloodstained that it affected the pigments composing the skin. He was not a pleasant site at all because approximately 92% of his skin was dead skin, bruises, or scars that would cover the body. His other 8% of skin approximately appeared to be damaged and wounded. He had a muscular and built body type that would be crafted to display quite nicely. He wore a black kimino top, white hakama pants with a white obi around his waist to secure it, and had a crimson scabbard with a few golden streaks around it.

The scabbard was on his left hip and held his kami katana that was known by the name of Ketuseki. It was forged of a material known as AEX that, like himself, was not human related. Oh no, this being was not human at all, but took the form of a species known as an Azorian which occupied the Kingverse. Now, what was AEX? AEX is Diamond, Boron Nitride, Ultrahard Fullerite, Silicon Carbide, Borazon, and Azorian minerals fused together and melted down before infused with magic and mana to bond it together and give it properties such as resistance to d and stacked on top of each other in their strongest form. The AEX is a chromic color as electromagnetism, extreme temperatures, rust, energy, and the ability to be able to take different forms. This can be achieved based upon the magic infused in it that ties it to the users mind so that it can allow it to go from solid to liquid. Roy can also use magic and enchantments to give it other properties and abilities’. It is harder then any mineral known to man and is a precious and sacred Azorian products. AEX alone can cut through diamond without much difficulty. The materials are blended together so that the toughness of each substance will be used together and build off of each other, aided by magic, thus the final product will be as if each substance layered on top of each other. It also takes a chromic color as well. The scabbard was constructed of this as well, lined on the outside and inside with AEX.

He also wore a black cloak over his body made of enhanced spider-silk weaved with AEX and other materials into the fibers. He wore a hood attached to it to cover his head that casted a shadow to cause his face to be hidden. He stood in a field, open and vast as it was constructed of hills as far as the eye could see. His utter presence would cause a massive amount of energy to be siphoned from all different planes as he’d weave magic and would cause psionic energies to circulate around the area connecting each string, particle, etc to each other to form a psionic circuit. All of this would be under the man’s control as it expanded at an inconceivable rate that would overlap the whole area and beyond in an instant. This would form an Area of Influence (AoI) that would cause a flawed reality to set in. He would also infuse psionic energies into the realital superstrings to allow him to manipulate them as well.

He would proceed to cause a link between his mind and the planar matrix and realital database as well, providing him with limitless capabilities. All of this was a simple cause of his mere presence as he was a man of which had surpassing Apocalyptic stature and premises’. A dark purple aura would surround him as suddenly particles would explode with magic to release gallons of blood to flow within the area. They would seep through the ground, pool up, and so much more as the pressure and energy would be condensed and converted into psionic energies to strengthen the AoI. Now, the utter smell of the blood would drive the man crazy with lust as he was corrupt to the point in which his ability to display emotions was ripped from him. He is twisted to such a point it decays his body. The blood would surface his body as it’d seep through the skin pores and rest their providing a layer of blood on his body. The man would wait, all of this happening within a few seconds if that, for an ordeal was about to occur...

...let the dreams be shattered...the shards to cut...the wounds to kill...

Across from Roy, a flare of light went off. Rather simple little flare, the multicolored light of Mana filling the air from the flash, hanging around the newly formed being.

Fas stood there in his red "suit", his classic old school outfit. His wings were tucked away for now, he didn't need them at the moment.

His eyes opened, the emerald green orbs looking at Roy, studying him. Fas easily picked up on every molecule on Roy's body, detecting the presence of his "blood armor", not moving.

In his right hand was a halbard-like weapon that looked...very organic. It had random spikes along the length of it, like a thunger bolt. The tip was like a spearhead, and on the sides of the pole, behind the spearhead, were a pair of axes attached to the weapon.

The polearm was one peice, there were no "added" peices, at least, nothing that could be seen for now. The weapon was a matte black, which oddly concealed it's edges, which were impossibly sharp. Sharp enough even to cut through Languardian Steel, which was argueably harder than AEX.

It's entire length was bigger than Fas, about 7'6" in length, and was rather wide. It's tip rested on the ground, doing nothing at the moment. It was apparent Fas wasn't up to any traps.

Strapped across Fas' back was yet another odd weapon, this one appearing to be...

...an axe handle. Indeed, that's what it was in ever right, except it was intracately detailed. Apparently someone had put great care into designing it. It had a pattern of a rose and it's thorny stem on one side, a thunderbolt carved on the other side.

The head of the weapon was slightly larger than the width of the rest of the weapon, apparently increasing the probability that it was a clubbing weapon. There was a wrapping of grip-tape on the apparent "handle" of the weapon, there for the sake of a solid grip.

The weapon was half Fas' height, about 3'5" in length, but was as thick as Fas' thigh, which was definately saying something considering the huge muscular build of it.

As another oddity, Fas had a large bag on his right and left legs, which were apparently filled with something. In fact, they looked similar to a ninja's tool bag...

Despite this, Fas grinned at his long-time freind, reaching his free hand up and scratching the back of his head, grinning at Roy.

"Want me to go first? Or you?" Fas said, grinning at Roy still, his hand still scratching the back of his head nervously.

Fasumbra "Forces" Langardo...a man in which Roy has fought against many times but on his side even more. His soft blue optics would gaze over Fasumbra and proceed to take in every detail of him and his apparel. He would notice each weapon and it's details, the axe and it's tribute to Kuro as indicated in it's thorny rose symbol and such, the bags on his legs, and more. Roy was never a man of many weapons, just Ketsueki would do.

The blood flooding the area more and more as each fraction of a second would pass by would cause a massive amount of blood to accumulate and whatnot. Since explosions would occur releasing blood, those explosions to trigger more explosions releasing more blood, and so on, all would cause a chain reaction. However, the energy and pressure would be focused in to form the blood rather then cause an explosion to occur, thus no damage would be possible to be dealt. This would just result in blood forming out of what seemed to be thin air as all of the visual details wouldn't be noticed since they were converted.

A portion of the blood would seep through the ground while other portions would swirl around. This whole time the AoI would expand as well as Roy would siphon and channel energies. He would proceed to smirk at Fasumbra's words as he would do nothing at all to indicate anything recognizable as a yes or no or anything. All that would occur was more and more blood flooding the area.

And then suddenly something would occur...

Roy would extend his left hand and a sudden dark purple blast of ki would shoot from his hand at the ground a few feet in front of Fas. This would happen incredibly quickly as it would implode upon impact as the blood would spew up at Fas and the kinetic energy propelling the ki blast would be absorbed as well as the kinetic and thermal energy released from the impact and whatnot as it would be used to fluidly carry out the explosion's pressure and whatnot in a more obscure form. What this means is that the explosion's pressure, energy, and everything that made it an explosion would be converted and instead of expand in that form it would constrict around the particles in the center of the impact. This would result in a small orb forming that would not be visable as it would cut through the ground towards Fas at such speeds that blood would be sent upwards and everywhere before it'd suddenly explode releasing the orignal explosion that made it up as well as newly created thermal and kinetic energy.

This would spew up more blood towards Fas as more and more would continue to pump through the area. This would be done as Fas would finish his dialogue.
