Aren't bishops equal to generals in Harmonia? Because they're like a holy empire?

Kind of hard to say, but I would believe they are equal or at least greater... seeing how 2 of the bishops HAD True runes... and so far none of just regular generals have them as of yet(speaking of SIII perspective... as I seem to know it better then the other series) considering Geddoe is in the lower ranks.. he is still bossed around even if he is part of the Sounthern Frontier Defense force(Did I say that right?) and the leader of the 12th unit....I think that would make him a general though rofl ? The bishops seem to be more of an influence also though seeing how they can rage war against other nations... even if a lot of them are fake people.

Sasarai was a Priest General in S2. He was a Bishop in S3. Whether this can be blamed on an inconsistent translation, or he just got promoted, we will never know.

I think he got promoted. He lost the hat in S3. Priests wear hats, Bishops don't.

No, actually I don't think that's quite true. Recall the picture that you see for half a second of Sasarai in the opening anime video. THAT is what Bishops wear. With the the MASSIVE hat and the cloak connected to it. The outfit Sasarai has in his offical artwork is apparently what Bishops wear when they go to war. Understandable, since who would want to be caught in a battle wearing that huge-a** piece of cloth? I sure wouldn't. He'd probably not even able to turn his head.

She's the head of the Temple Guards, right under Sasarai.

She's related to Nash (filial connections) and works under Sasarai (connections at work)
