Alice’s blush deepened when the girl she had nearly plowed over, asked if she was ok. She was, but if the floor could open and swallow her whole – she’d practically beg for it now. “Yes, I’m fine.” she said, her Russian accent slightly thicker than normal. Running her eyes up and down the other girl briefly, she tried to make sure that she was really alright when her blue gaze landed on that of the girl’s now cracked phone.
“Oh, no! Your phone! Please, let me pay you for that!”she stuttered out as she hastily, the words blending together. Grabbing her purse, she dug around for her wallet so that she could offer the other girl money, but in her clumsy hurry she ended up dropping the whole thing on the ground. Unfortunately, her wallet was open, and money and several cards skittered out and across the floor.‘дерьмо!’ she thought, her embarrassment soaring even higher.
Dropping to her knees, she barely felt the harsh tile dig into her knees as she hurriedly tried to pick everything up and shove it back into her purse. To hell with the coffee! She would just leave and go find a nice deep hole to fall in now that she had gone and fully embarrassed herself. With her short dark hair covering most of her face, Alice tried to hold back the tears that threatened to fall. Why was she always like this? She was supposed to be this badass chick, and here she was practically crying because she embarrassed herself in front of a pretty girl. Oh how she hoped Xander never finds out. Her brother would never let her hear the end of it.
Once she had all her belongings shoved back into her purse, Alice scrambled off her knees and turned to the girl in front of her. “I am so sorry. I’m a klutz anytime before I’ve had my coffee. Please, let me pay for your phone.”She said, gripping her purse with white knuckles.

Sorry for the delay! I had family come up at the last minute, and they didn't leave until late last night!
• • •➸☾After a bit of casual wandering through the shopping district, the aroma of fresh brewed coffee hit his nose. Caspian paused, then turned down a walkway in the direction of the tantalizing scent. As much as he loved the smell of coffee, however, he couldn't stand to drink it. He couldn't stand adding sugar to drinks to make them palatable and unfortunately most coffee was just too bitter for his sensitive taste buds.
Tea was much more his....well, cup of tea. Whether it was an aromatic black tea, a grassy green, vegetal oolong, or a pungent pu-erh, he loved the variety of flavors he was presented with tea. A nice tisane blend was good from time to time, but it's not like he needed to avoid caffeine or anything. Moonbucks didn't have the best quality teas at their disposal, but they were adequate to be sure.
Eventually, he found himself in front of the cafe. It was early, so naturally the place was already half full of people enjoying their morning brew. Cas scanned the room briefly before stepping into the line of waiting customers.
The cafe vibrated with the energy of the occupants, all of them a mix of emotions and varied levels of wakefulness. A soft murmuring chatter hovered in the space, relaxing in a way, like white noise. Ceramic and glass clinking, chairs shifting, ice tinkling in cups; it was the perfect atmosphere for the morning.
Soon enough, Cas was at the front of the line. He'd spotted the glass jars of loose leaf tea on one of the shelves behind the counter, making his decision before being greeted by the barista.
"Hi, welcome to Moonbucks! What can I get started for you today?" The perky girl behind the counter greeted him with a genuine smile and a flush in her cheeks.
Pretending to consider for just a moment, Cas returned the smile. "Thank you. Let's see... ah, could I get a hot cup of the 'Black and Rose' tea?"
She nodded, bouncing on the balls of her feet as she added his order to the touch screen menu. "Sure thing! For here or to go? And can I get your name?"
Caspian flipped open his wallet, pushing the chip card into the slot on the card reader. "For here. And it's 'Caspian,' thank you." He removed cash from the wallet to add to the tip jar, tilted his head with a smile and a nod and moved to find a seat.
It was a day off for this fashion designer, yet she still occupied herself with other tasks. While she took a break from actual work projects, Allix still kept herself busy with other side tasks. She had been commissioned to do a large piece for a new client. They were apparently doing a nature based photo shoot and wanted a flowy gown to match the theme. On paper, it seemed like an easy enough task, but the poor woman was struggling. Her office at home was riddled with balled up paper with sketches of the designs she was trying to do, but nothing seemed adequate for her tastes. She needed a break, and more importantly caffeine!
Getting dressed and throwing on some shoes, Allix made the walk over from her Pasadena home to Moonbucks. Maybe she might get a strike of inspo while getting her coffee fix. Arriving to the cafe after a short walk, the raven-haired woman pushed through the doors and got herself in line. The line today wasn't as long as it was yesterday when she had a funny and awkward encounter with Alice. They had a decent conversation after their little debacle of the broken screen protector, which Allix replaced when she got home. All in all, she hoped the two of them could be pretty good friends. Alice seemed really nice and cool!
As her turn came to order, Allix got another caramel macchiato, like yesterday, and went to find a cozy seat to enjoy her coffee at. For a few moments, Allix enjoyed a bit of her hot beverage as she took in the sounds of the cafe itself. The muttering of people's voices, the sounds of the coffee machines releasing some steam, the smell of the coffee itself. It was all relaxing. Maybe since she finally calmed down a bit, she'd be able to draw something out. Rummaging through her purse, the fashion designer pulled out her tablet and began to do some digital sketch on a drawing app. For a brief moment, everything seemed to go okay until she started feeling awful about the sketch. Typical artist things, right? They like their art for 5 seconds until they start hating it. " Yep. That's it, I hate it... " Allix grumbled to herself as she sipped on more of her coffee.

• • •➸☾Caspian took a moment after ordering his tea to take in the room again. While it wasn't brimming with people, there was still limited seating. There were the usual benches along the wall with tables and chairs to match, stools along the edge of the 'bar' on the other side of an acrylic shield from where they made the drinks, and a selection of various small tables with varied seating availability.
It seems I'll have to find a table to share, for now. He realized, his lips twitching into a slight frown. He hadn't expected he'd have to speak with another person so early, aside from the barista.
Realizing he couldn't take up space forever, his blue eyes swept over the dwindling selection of available seats, eventually spotting a dark haired beauty at one of the two person tables. Seeing as he'd be waiting on his drink for a bit anyway - judging by the small cluster of people at the 'pickup' counter - Cas made his way over, noticing she seemed to be drawing.
Curious, but not wanting to be rude about looking without her permission, he passed around to the other side of the table, facing her and unable to see the drawing clearly from his new view.
"Pardon me," he politely initiated, settling a palm on the back of the vacant seat for emphasis. "Is this seat taken? There don't appear to be any free tables."
He glanced around the room again to accent his point and shrugged as if to say 'What can you do?' Indeed, since he'd first taken stock, more people had either joined their friends at tables or had found strangers to sit with in comfortable silence. The morning rush was coming in and it was filling up fast.
Allix grumbled to herself while over analyzing her sketches when a sudden voice popped up. Snapping out of her thoughts, obsidian eyes glanced up to meet a man asking about the seat in front of her. Oh, crap! How long had he been standing there? Oh! Yes, go right on ahead! I've been staring at this stupid thing and barely even noticed you. C’est ma faute! " The woman responded back in a slight panic. The fashion designer then began to clear her things off of the table so that the newcomer could actually have some space. Gosh, she was such a blockhead! For the moment, Allix just sipped on her coffee while still staring at the screen of her tablet. She didn't know what, but something was bugging her about the sketch.
For a few minutes, the two had sat in silence until Allix cleared her throat a bit awkwardly. " U-Um... Excuse me, real quick! I hope this isn't weird but, could you tell me your opinion of this sketch? I'm thinking a bit of an outside perspective would help me a lot! " With that said, Allix scooted her drawing tablet over to the newcomer. On the screen there were 3 different types of gowns she had designed for the commissioned project she was doing. One was more wispy looking with an intricate vine and leaf design flowing down the entire thing. Second one was more a floral theme. A sheer white mesh covering the opaque white dress slip with pop ups of brightly colored flowers all on the mesh outer covering. Finally, the third dress was more fall appropriate that had all the base colors for this season. In her head, they were all just hot garbage, but hopefully whatever he said about the designs would help put herself on the right track. ☽═━┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈━═☾

Pëllumb had been up all night socializing with his father, and they had even gone out on the town and hit up different places of varying levels of seediness. That…was slightly awkward to do with his father, especially given the man had been happily married for over two hundred years, but he assumed there were some boundaries that his mother and father had set up, and there was no reason to believe that his father would disrespect those rules. They had returned home a little before dawn, and his father had headed straight to bed, or rather to the coffin which would shield him from the sun’s glaring rays. It would have been logical for Pëllumb to go to sleep as well, yet he felt only a general weariness, not any sort of sleepiness. From whence this weariness came, he knew not, but it was nothing so great that he couldn’t ignore it given some form of entertainment. Conveniently, just as he had reclined against the chaise lounge his phone sounded off with its unknown caller text tone. Unlocking the phone with a thumbprint reading, he had the phone open up the text and read it aloud to him. ”Ah, lovely to hear from Rhun again. I was beginning to think I hadn’t made as good of an impression as I had thought.” As his father had explained it to him, Lumiere (his district) connected to Pasadena (Rhun’s district) and Uptown, whereas Pasadena connected to another housing district plus Cerise and Downtown. So unless they were going to visit one’s domicile, there were no zones in common. And he would definitely not suggest meeting at one’s home so early in a relationship! It would simply be much too gauche to invite himself over, and it would be much too forward to invite Rhun over, thus his best choices were either in Uptown or Cerise. Given he had been awarded the privilege of choosing, it was only proper that he pick something from Cerise as it was closer to Rhun. Thinking about what was in that area, the only location that made any real sense was the cafe. His decision made, he instructed his phone to first ad this new contact in and then send a response. He found it amusing switching from the instructions which he gave in Albanian to the message which was to be in English. Even more impressive was that his phone was perfectly fine with switching amongst Albanian, German, French, Italian, Arabic, Chinese, and English. Technology was so amazing at times. The response read: Thank you for your message, it is a delight to hear from you once more. I am pleased to hear you have a phone now which will work for you; hopefully, it will prove handy. Meeting up sounds absolutely delightful. Shall we meet in one hour at the Moonbucks Café in the Cerise District? Please let me know if this is agreeable to you. Sincerely, Pëllumb. After confirming he would like the message sent, he extricated himself from the chaise and proceeded up to his room to find more suitable attire.
Once he got confirmation that the plan was a go and that they would meet by the door, he loitered only a moment so that he would not arrive too early, before setting out towards Cerise. With his bright blue parasol open and leaning against his shoulder, it was a perfectly pleasant walk, and he loved having a moment to take in the sounds and smells of the neighborhood. Cerise was a little louder than he generally preferred, but so long as he could hear himself, everything was just fine. He arrived about five minutes before they were to meet. Pleased with his timing, he loitered by the door, wondering if he would actually be able to tell when his friend arrived, or if there would be some awkward bungling before they could hook up and enter.

❁ Rhun had sat back and waited calmly and patiently, hoping the message was sent alright. But he felt confident that he remembered the number correctly and that it worked. He didn't know whether or his friend might be busy or distracted, so the high elf didn't really expect a message back right away. He was relaxing on the couch while listening to the music when he was surprised with how fast he heard the tone of his phone. Pëllumb was currently the only one that had his number so it was easy to tell it was his friend. Rhun sat up from the couch and picked up his phone, memorizing where he placed it and unlocked it. After a quick command to the phone from the young man, the message of Pëllumb was read out loud which confirmed the success of the message. A soft smile played over Rhun's lips when he heard the text message of his friend. It was good to hear that the other was glad to receive the message and that he had a phone now that worked for him. More so when he heard their agreement to meeting up today. The high elf looked forward to hanging out with them. Rhun told his phone to type the reply and spoke the message to be put into text. "It is good to hear from you again as well and so quick a reply. Thank you. So far the phone has proven itself absolutely an asset. It helps me in many ways. Meeting up at the cafe sounds like a great idea, I am looking forward to it. See you in an hour my friend. Greetings, Rhun." He then sent the message off with a confirmation and got up from the couch.
❁ There wasn't much he needed to do to get ready for the meet up. He was already set for the day after all. Rhun did know that Cerise connected to Pasadena, which meant that it would be a short enough walk from his home. Perhaps 5 minutes at best. So for now he just had to kill some time before meeting with his friend. Rhun ended up doing some household chores around the house. The bigger tasks were already done by Solina, the friend of the family. At least Solina was insightful enough to realize that the young man wanted to do as much as he could by himself, so she didn't try to do everything for him. The high elf walked to where the cleaning supplies were generally kept and grabbed the broom from it's 'usual' spot and calmly started to sweep around the house. Once he was done and threw the sand and such away that had been trailed in today, he put away the broom and asked his smart system what the time was. He then set an alarm and picked up one of his books that were rewritten in braille and spent the rest of the time reading. Solina did tell him about audiobooks and ebooks, but Rhun liked holding the book he was reading. The comfortable weight in his hand. When the alarm he set went off he quickly closed the book and told the smart system to shut down his radio. Then he put on his shoes and walked out of the door, locking it behind him.
❁ As he walked to the Cerise District, Rhun hoped that Pëllumb had a smooth time getting to the district. Their home districts connected but not Lumiere and Cerise. It had been really considerate of the other man though and Rhun was grateful for it. Of course he would have done the same, there was no doubt there. Trying to make it easier on the other. It didn't take long for the hustle and bustle of Cerise to reach the high elf's ears though and he soon found himself in the shopping district. Once there he walked more careful, since there weren't many plants to show where the street ended. The auras of the people close around him were indicators too though that he had learned to read. In general the majority would stick to the shop sides, so he just remained between the auras. At first he did wonder how he was going to recognize the cafe. After all cafe's sounded pretty much the same, but it didn't take much longer for Rhun to realize he would have no problem whatsoever. The gentle scent of coffee, that distinct aroma of grounded coffee beans, came to greet him on the soft breeze when he got closer. Following the scent of the coffee, the high elf made his way to the Moonbucks Cafe, arriving not much later than Pëllumb. Where the scent led him and seemed to become the strongest there were already some at the door, he could sense their auras near him. Of course it was to soon in the relationship to be able to different his friend from other people by scents, like he could with his family and close friends, and since they were standing still he didn't expect them to be using their click sound. There was only one thing for it. "Hello again, Pëllumb my friend." the high elf spoke on the off chance, or in good faith, that the other was already here.

He uses auras of living beings to navigate When born he inherited his mother's high sensitivity to energies. He still can't see the world itself around him, but every living being's rawest element is energy which generates their auras which is what Rhun picks up. Though he can't see the world around him, he uses the energies to map the surroundings in his mind. By doing so he can still 'see' the world in a way much like how one could imagine a mind's image of someone they know very well. Of course in Rhun's case he doesn't know the colors, shape of bushes etc in Soleil, just Saela in his early years, and only has to go by where they are and what way they are moving, though he can feel from the aura how big or long something is. Alternatively he can feel around with his hands to make a more detailed view of the bushes, animal or person or by asking colors of for example one's hair or eyes so he can link the aura to it. Otherwise this ability mostly generates the surroundings in his mind with shapes he does know and he can't use it on inanimate objects since they don't generate auras. A weakness of this though is that he can still not calculate rocks, stone, furniture and the like since he can't use his Aura ability when there is no aura to use as aid. So it is still important for him that his home is set up in a way that he knows it well to optimally be able to live by himself. If there is to much energy going on he can sometimes mix up the signals but it has to be extremely busy for that. At such times Rhun has to fall back on hearing and feeling.

Every now and again he would check out his surroundings with a short little click, but for the most part he assumed that if he stood in place against a large immobile object, people would easily be able to avoid walking into him. Plus the white stick nearby made people all the more cautious. Almost as if they expected him to dart out in front of them at any given moment, which would be unusual, but he supposed it was still possible. He was about to scan the area again when he heard footsteps stop near him and a known voice address him. ”Dear Rhun, what a pleasure it is to converse with you once more. Shall we adjourn to the cafe proper?” Rhun had a…not dark complexion (as far as color and shade were concerned, Pëllumb could really only see light as white, middling as gray, and dark as black) frankly it could have been anything from lightly tanned and ruddy to albinism and it would have looked about the same, but the point was fair complexions and sunlight were not a good combo, and he was certain that even with the precautions he had taken he was probably going to start burning soon, and there was a possibility that Rhun was currently in a similar state. He managed to find the door handle after a very brief search, then held the door open for Rhun before joining him inside. As they walked in, he would close up his parasol, likely to the disbelief of other patrons. According to Ylli, parasols were only in with a select few crowds whilst others thought them strange and/or excessive. Oh well, strange was perfectly fine with him. ”My father was here earlier in the week and wrote down the menu for me. I can read it to you if you wish, unless you already have an idea of what you want to get. I would just hand you the list, but unfortunately most of it is not in English.” Even though both he and his father could speak English, it seemed silly to them to write notes in a non-native language when neither were trying to improve their skills per se. The copy of the menu was for Pëllumb to have as a reference, not as a study tool. And for that, their native language of Albanian served perfectly well.
Fortunately, they had not been particularly quiet with their discussion, and a person ahead of them in line excused himself (of course after asking if they would hold his place) and soon returned with a braille menu which he handed to Rhun. ”Much obliged, dear sir.” Well, it would seem his father had not needed to take the precaution of writing everything out for him, yet he was still appreciative of the gesture. He read over his list, which unfortunately did not include prices, but then again why would he need to worry about that? If he ever became strapped for cash, first off he wouldn’t even be the first one to know it. Fen would find out and she would try to find the funds within his own assets, or worse come to worse she would ask her grandfather and/or grandmother (his parents) for a loan for him. Of course all of this would come after a lengthy lecture about the importance of keeping up with one’s budget and not living overly-extravagantly, etc, etc. Once the man who had helped them reached the register, Pëllumb announced to the cashier that he would be covering for the man in front of and the one behind him, much to the helpful man’s surprise. He accepted, of course, but with many thanks first. Pëllumb ordered a cappuccino and muffin, then moved to the side to let Rhun place his order. All the while he made sure that no one was going to usurp his decision to pay for them all.

❁ Rhun was glad to hear Pëllumb's voice in reply. After all the high elf was still finding his feet in this new place so to say. And he sometimes found it difficult to determine his route. But he knew it would get better the longer he was here and Soleil was his new home. A smile played over Rhun's lips as he followed the other's voice so he joined them at the entrance. "It is good to speak with you again too. Thank you for joining me to the cafe." he said, his voice gentle. The young man was happy to spent some time here with Pëllumb again. Not just because they had the same experience being blind, but he genuinely enjoyed the man's company. "That is a good idea, dear Pëllumb. I look forward to drinking some coffee together." he replied as he for now focused more on his friend than the people around him. Their aura still seemed different than from what he usually saw around him which discounted the possibility of it being a warp in the energy before, but the high elf wasn't worried. In fact it would make it so much easier to recognize them from a crowd if this was their general energy frequency. When he felt the shift in energy nearby, his mind's eye showed him that Pëllumb seemed to be opening a door. It was a strange sight, an invisible door being opened, but something Rhun had gotten used to. They were such a gentleman, Rhun had to admit.
❁ He walked inside, carefully while making sure with one hand that he would not walk into the door post itself, and right away the scent of coffee was overwhelming. Not in a bad way though, it was a nice scent. Another shift of energy with Pëllumb's distinct pattern alerted him that his friend had stepped inside too and seemed to be lowering something they had been holding up. The elf listened as they spoke about the menu. That was really friendly. It sounded like they helped his friend but also left him space to do his thing. It had taken his parents ages to finally let him go to Soleil. And even Soleil was easy enough to get to for them. "He sounds like a very kind man. I have not checked the menu before so not sure what they all have." he replied though the previous comment had him curious. "What language is it in if I may ask?" Rhun asked as they waited, not even hiding his curiosity. They didn't really speak of their origins before. Yet the young man was eager to learn more about his friend. Of course he would answer any questions Pëllumb had as well. Before they could really get int it though he heard an unknown voice nearby for holding his spot and the next thing he knew they were reaching out something to him. The high elf accepted it and right away could feel the braille that was on the menu. He smiled gently and bowed respectfully to the man's direction. "Thank you very much kind sir." he said gratefully.
❁ When the man returned to their spot in the line, the high elf skillfully moved his hand over the menu. He was quite a fast reader if there was braille to feel. After all it had been several hundred years that he needed to use this kind of intake. He was slightly distracted though when he heard his friend say they were paying for them three. The young man would have paid himself, still it was a kind gesture. "Alright, thank you Pëllumb, then the next one is on me." he said and smiled, despite knowing neither of them would see the smile. He couldn't help it, he really felt happy. And of course he would return the kind gesture the next time. They were here together after all. When it was his turn to place his order Rhun ordered a Cappuccino, who could ever that say no to that amazing drink?, and a brownie before joining Pëllumb on the side. "Do you happen to know if we wait at the counter or if they bring it to the tables?" Rhun asked his friend, wondering what to do now. He hadn't been here before to be fair. Of course he hadn't really been cut completely loose yet either so they still tried to do a lot for him which kind of hindered him in exploring Soleil completely.

He just smiled faintly at the offer to cover the next outing. Rhun would have to be quick about it if he wished to cover the cost. Pëllumb was the one with the title and old money, it was easy enough for him to fund these little outings without his bank account noticing a thing. Granted Rhun may have some wealth as well, in fact if he was living in the second most high-class neighborhood, he almost certainly had to be a man of means. But it would still feel weird to him for someone else to cover his fare. As he was asked about whether they were to wait or find a table however, his pride began to diminish. "I frankly do not know." Yet again an onlooker stepped in, this time the young woman behind the counter, "I'll bring it out to you no problem!" Likely she had offered because of their particular disability, but at the same time it was highly convenient for them. Sometimes it was just easier to accept the help than to start a whole can-do war. ”Thank you very much, ma’am.” He gave a slight bow of the head as well, never too regal to respectfully acknowledge the common person. Click Moving off to the side so that whomever was next could access the counter easily enough, he headed only a little into the rest of the room before turning to roughly where he thought Rhun was and addressing him, ”Rhun, have you any preference where we sit? Might I ask we avoid the more lively sections? I’m afraid I do not care very much for loud.” Well there was an understatement if ever one existed: Pëllumb would sometimes go into full panic attacks if an area was so loud he couldn’t hear himself. Since he was a young child he had navigated by echolocation, and at least in regard to mobility it was as if he has always had sight, but if he couldn’t hear those clicks he couldn’t perceive and process the world, like being in pitch black waters and feeling something brush up against your leg. If Rhun had a preference, Pëllumb would follow, otherwise he would head towards one of the tables off to the side and near a window, clicking all the way.
”Albanian,” he began, ”my father’s notes to me are written in Albanian. It is our native language. For that matter, when my siblings or I speak either with each other or our parents, we generally switch over to Albanian. It is one of the few languages all of us know.” Italian was the other, but certain members of the family were less well-versed in the language than others. ”He has a tendency to coddle his descendants, but yes, I would say my father is a kind man. At least he babies us equally,” he said with a sigh, though he knew he had no room to complain. His children would be the first to agree that the apple hadn’t fallen far from the tree in this case, and that their father was as much if not more of a wet nurse as his father. Oh well, at least none of them could ever say they had not felt loved by their father. Click A moment later the woman from the counter walked up and gave them their drinks and confections, bidding them a good day before departing. Click With that little distraction gone, he focused back on his partner. ”I confess I am most curious as to the origin of your name. I have heard the word before, but never heard its use as a given name. Perhaps I am not nearly so cultured as I thought for while I do detect a slight accent, I cannot begin to fathom from which geographic region it resides. I do so hope that my blunt questions have neither offended or dismayed you. I suppose I am just a touch curious.” But that was permissible in this day and age, right? People were much more forward, and in fact, he was probably coming off as cold and distant because of his reliance upon tradition. Yet Rhun had thus far responded in kind, so perhaps he had found another more accustomed to a more chivalric form of decorum? Curiouser and curiouser this individual seemed. Click

Rhun was quite enjoying this time already. His friend Pëllumb was really easy to be around with. They were gentle, well mannered and compassionate. It was fair to say that the high elf did expect people to be this kind at Soleil but he had never been as naive as to think people would always be kind. Of course at Soleil it had been good so far and the young man felt lucky that he ran into Pëllumb pretty much from the start. When he asked them if they happened to know if the order would be brought or if they had to wait, he didn't intend on causing his friend distress. Before they could really worry about it though, the high elf suddenly heard a female voice from nearby and he looked in the general direction where it came from. "Thank you ever so much Ma'am." Rhun said and smiled to her. Of course there was no need, but he couldn't lie that it was easier for them. And he wasn't too proud to decline well intended help when offered. When he noticed Pëllumb's aura moving away some, he looked back to where the other was standing just earlier and then followed their energy until they spoke. "No preference at all my friend. We can sit wherever you prefer." the high elf said. For Rhun it didn't matter where they sat, it wasn't too busy at the cafe yet, so he wouldn't get overwhelmed by the auras.
Rhun smiled and then followed the clicking sound of Pëllumb, trusting him to find his way through the chairs and tables he couldn't see. He didn't really need to as he could see their aura of course, but it was about just as easy. Once they got to the table his friend picked, the high elf carefully felt around to find the chair so he would know how it was situated and sat down, Rhun allowed himself to relax some more. He wouldn't admit it out right but since he hadn't been to this cafe yet, he had felt rather tensed on the way here as he wasn't known with the area much yet either. It was really time to explore more. He didn't even notice how much he had felt tensed until he just now sat down, safely on a solid chair. Once they sat, they had time to talk more and get to know each other more. It would seem that Pëllumb was from a place he had never heard of, but Rhun made a mental note to look up information about it when he got the chance. He could ask Pëllumb about Albania of course, but the elf was more interested in the man himself. "I see. I fear I only speak elven and common. I'm interested in more languages but haven't yet been able to since I have not found books for them in braille so far. Rhun replied and smiled a bit to himself. Those were limitations he pretty much accepted by now. When the other spoke of getting coddled though, Rhun sighed a bit at the mention before he nodded, a force of habit when speaking to seeing people.
"I know how that is all too well. Both my parents are quite good at that as well. It is one of the reasons I decided to move out to be honest. I was really starting to feel like I was being suffocated with love." the high elf admitted to his friend. Of course he was an only child, so he had no siblings and no experience with that. Nor did he have children of his own. Granted in elven terms he still had a whole life ahead of him, not that he expected to ever have children since he had no interest in women whatsoever. When the woman came to bring their drinks, he was distracted for a moment as he thanked her once more, but once she walked away, the high elf too focused back on his partner Pëllumb. It would seem the man had questions of his own and Rhun wouldn't leave them hanging. It was no secret after all. "Don't worry about it. Your questions are none of those. It's not really a much used name even where I am from. I guess my parents felt creative." he replied and chuckled softly. "It's written differently though. R.H.U.N." he said as he calmly spelled out the name. "I wouldn't be too hard on yourself my friend. I'm from Ystysti, a town that is in Odoraen. To my knowledge it can't even be found on any maps that aren't from Odoraen itself. It's a small elven village just South from Saela, the high elf capital." he explained where he was from. If it weren't for their shared impairment, Rhun might have been able to give them a map of Odoraen.

HIS ABILITIES
"I have to admit ignorance myself when it comes to Albania, I am not known with this area at all. Where is it if you look from Soleil?" he asked, allowing some curiosity questions about the country as well.
