He tried to get to the next platform when something grabbed him again and... he fell wings flapping.
It seemed like forever, falling through the fog when he finally slowed and landed. Some shining orbs sat clustered near the bottom and he was drawn like a moth to flame taking one.
Naiad sighs as she slowly starts her descent. Not really liking going down there again but wanting the reward to much to care. Then the fog surrounds her and she remembered why she did not want to do this as the memories start again.
She cried out, the scream tearing her throat like a blade, but still she could not stop. Grief overwhelmed her like a wave, an avalanche, something so powerful that nothing could stand in its way and remain unscathed. Everything she loved was dead or dying, from people to her home to her very way of life. There was nothing left. She screamed and screamed and in that scream was a plea for death, that she not outlive the last vestiges of everything she was-
The overwhelming grief from the memory overwhelmed Naiad causing her to tear up as she stumbled forward down, further into the depths.

Tears threaten to fall as she reaches the platforms. Sniffling as she feels so anguished from a loss she did not have she almost did not see the enemy that attacked. At the last second somehow managing to use her weapon to hit towards the figure. Managing to hit it she cries as she tries to get past it.

Shaking from the sadness she cries out as she tries to hit it when she realizes it wasn't going to leave her alone. Sniffling as she knocked it back for only a moment before it went back to attacking her.

Naiad still did not quite understand her sadness but stuck out again as the figure got close. She just wanted to cry and it was interrupting that.

Naiad continued through down until the fog swallowed her up. Sniffling and crying as she went she did not notice at first the hands and other limbs coming out of the fog towards her. Then she winces as she pulled to the ground of the path in the splits.

Wailing slightly she gets to her feet gingerly and continues. Then as she is pulled into the splits a third time she feel tears run down her face as she cries out again.
