Mercedes had finished off one half of her sandwich and had been eating some of her soup when at the corner of her eye, did she catch a portal opening and what appeared to be a wolf pup of sorts jumping out of it. though the hat on its head and the soul presence it was giving off was that of a witch. it confused Mercedes as to why one would just appear in a crowded area with Meisters and their Weapon partners, even if Mercedes couldn't really be grouped in with the party as she herself still doesn't have a Weapon partner. turning her head to the side she would look over towards the wolf pup witch before speaking, her voice low but still alittle loud for the wolf pup to hear her."was it smart thinking on your part to come here?"Mercedes would then push her bowl away as she picked up the other half of her sandwich and took a bite as she started to chew, awaiting the wolf witch pup's response.
The wolf pup looks at the girl with its large eyes and tilts its head to the side slightly as she hears the girl's question. "It could be but it also may not be," replies the wolf pup in a innocent sounding feminine voice. Although her voice is clearing audible her mouth does not move in her current form when she speaks. The wolf pups sits on the table and continues looking at the girl as she brings her head back up. Ammy points her nose in the air and sniffs the delicious smell of food in the air. "Human food smells so good," she comments just loud enough for a few people to hear.

Miso smiles at Red's comment about the dumpling and then brings the skewer in front of her and begins eating. "They're really good and sweet too," she comments after she finishes chewing and swallowing one of the dumplings. The red eyed miester sets the skewer down and takes a sip of the green tea that was also brought by the waitress.
Red began to dig in to his fries first, taking one at a time and eating it pretty quickly, he then looked Miso and realised he didn't really know much about her and they were partners, they were making a pretty important decision in their careers as Weapon and Meister so he figured he should get to know her more, "So Miso, where are you from?"

Red wasn't sure if he heard her right when she said laboratory but he was pretty sure that's what she said, he just sat there thinking a little while eating more fires before he spoke "Britain..." he said with somewhat confused look, he was beginning to think she was a android or something.

Miso begins on the next skewer of the dango she ordered and quickly finishes them. "Britain?" she repeats as she looks at her partner. She notices the confused look on his face and leans towards him. "You ok?" she asks.
Red nodded at her question and raised an eyebrow "Are you...?" he said as he was wondering if she was even going to explain the laboratory thing to him, it must have seemed so normal to her or something to not have to follow it up with an explanation.
"Am I what, Red?" she asks getting curious to what he's trying to ask. Miso begins wondering what could have made him change so quickly. It's not a bad change though. Then it dawns on her. "Id this about me coming from a labortory in Japan?" she asks sitting back the way she was before and picking up her green tea. The red eyed meister drinks from the cup and sets it down again.
Red nodded as she had finally realised what he meant, he was interested in her history now as it sounded like mad science, was she a test tube baby? was she an android? was she made from splicing dna? he had to know so he picked up his burger and began to eat it while keeping his eyes on her wondering what she would tell him.
Miso smiles briefly before turning to her red partner. "I'll explain my past to you if you would like.....on one condition that is......you can't think differently of me. I'm still the person you met at the training field and my history shouldn't change your view of me," she says softly as if she's dealt with people whom have treated her differently before because of her origin.
Red nodded with a smile on his face "Of course... how shallow do you think I am?" he said as he raised an eyebrow wondering what was so bad that would make her think he would change his opinion of her.
The door chime jingled as someone new walked into the diner. However, at first glance it didn't seem as if anyone was there. Until one looked down. A small white cat had walked into the diner. In a moment she leaped up on the back of a chair and looked at the four individuals there. There was something printed in a foreign language on her back left leg. She held herself in a dignified manner and it was obvious that there was intelligence behind her eyes. "One man, two women and a dog. Seems fairly empty for a diner," she said, her eyes watching each of them in turn. "I don't suppose any of you would have any kind of strength, would you?" Her tail flicked back and forth as she waited for an answer. Whoever she was, she had definitely come here for a reason.
