"You think...?" She frowned momentarily, pondering over his words before nodding, a small smile on her lips, "Well, no use worrying about that now! I'm sure the feeling will go away soon~" At least, she hoped for it to go away soon.
When Mac mentioned food, she frowned, and for a moment, looked him she might go smack her forehead against a table again. Thankfully, she did not; instead, with a serious expression, she nodded, "Alright... Remember not to get any sausages. Or foods that resemble a sausage." Yes, she was not about to make the same mistake twice.
When he pushed her away though, she pouted before turning back and clinging to his arm, "Mot's busy with Levi!" She gestured at the two on the dance floor, although she didn't look too thrilled about that fact, she didn't look too unhappy either, "Besides, I might just have something planned for later~" She giggled, leaning on his arm; something indeed.
"For now, uh, I am here in Tess' stead?" She tilted her head, smiling up at the boil.

Oh no. He should have seen it coming. He honestly should have. Somehow, he'd managed to forget this one particular ghoul considering the veritable cornucopia of ghouls at the Prom. Of course Haddiya would be here, and Fate just seemed to love to throw them together. At least she hadn't immediately tried to grab his arm. In fact, she was so obviously trying not to touch him that it made him all the more aware of how close she was. He involuntarily took a step away, but checked himself from backing away any further. Attempting to school his scowl into something more civil, Johan turned to face the demoness, spookies momentarily forgotten. "Haddiya. Good evening." he greeted her neutrally. She was, of course, dressed to stun, and Johan carefully kept his eyes on her face. "I vas not expecting to be here myself, actually. However, attending Prom is apparently considered a familial duty. So... here I am." Johan glanced down at his suit, his discomfort with the unfamiliar clothing apparent. And it occurred to him that while he could never say that he was ever happy to have Haddiya around, she was the one ghoul he somehow talked to on a semi-regular basis. He still had no idea if he looked ridiculous in the formal wear, as Cady's earlier comments had mostly left him confused. He decided to take a chance. "Do..." he started, not entirely sure how to ask this. "Do I look... silly?"

"Probably will." Mac assured her, before eyeing the food table again.
"Why, had your fill?" The Reaper laughed, shaking his head. Now that there was no questionable gestures to go along with it, he was alright with the idea of her eating sausage. "Pervert." He jested, about to walk away to leave her to her date when...she grabbed his arm? Really? Surprised black eyes stared down at her for a moment, and then over at the dance floor. "Yeah, but---" She was Mot's date, not that his complaining sounded even remotely full hearted.
"That worries me." He gave her a look at her cryptic words. "Well, if you're that set on being my date..." He trailed off before moving to take his cling-on to the food table. There was a variety of things, they all looked delicious of course! He'd have to tell Junko that later. Until then, he went through and picked all of the foods he liked that weren't suggestive. For Lizzy's sake.
Which meant he ended up with a burger and mostly macaroni salad.
"Don't you say a word." He warned Lizzy, smirking.

Nuk was already starting to move towards the backroom to get ready for the auction as Altair approached him, not noticing the fairer-skinned demon coming up on him with what was certainly an evil-intention. Instead, his eyes were focused on the sheet of paper in his hand, skimming over it a few times to make some note and grumble something about chip counts, his gaze only every so often lifting to glance up at the door he was approaching. In fact, he was so lost in his own thoughts that he didn't even pick up on Altair's presence until those hands had grabbed him by the waist, his body jerking a bit in surprise, and he twisted a little to search for his 'attacker,' almost punching the demon in the face before he realized it was just his Center. Immediately, his expression soured a little, although his muscles uncoiled under his skin -- Altair was no threat. An a*****e, maybe, but he'd beaten the incubus in a fight before, and was certain he could do so again. It was how they'd gotten their positions, and he stood behind his fighting skills 100%. Not that he thought he'd fight him again. They'd become... not friends, but close enough, an understanding having certainly been met.
The skinwalker moved onto the dance floor with only minor obligatory resistance, giving him a droll look as Altair positioned his hands on his hips, feeling the ire rise in his throat at the clearly-mocking gesture. "If this is a game of chicken, I'm not going to lose, incubus," he growled low in his throat, his fingers closing into fists as if he were itching to sock him right in the gut. Instead, he grabbed two fistfuls of Altair's vest, letting the demon lead (albeit reluctantly,) their dancing looking far more like a fight about to happen than a dance at the moment.
"I can't believe you showed. Thought you'd be off in some grungy bathroom by now. Then again, I'll bet you finish quick, so maybe you already did a few times. C'mon Altair, you can tell me, who are the lucky boils?"

"I think I ate enough sausages to last me a lifetime," She nodded, still wearing a serious expression, "No more sausages of any kind for me... Ever." She blushed, however, as she was accused of being a pervert, shaking her head as she pouted, "N-no way! I didn't even know what I was doing!"
She was no pervert!
"Do you not want me to be your date?" She pretended to look hurt before giggling to show that she wasn't serious, patting his arm before letting go once they were at the food table. She made a point to not look at any of the sausages, although Mac's choice of macaroni salad prompted another giggle from her, "Oh, but when you say that, it makes me want to say something, Mac~"
She was going to say more, but another glance at the dance floor later, she tilted her head, looking thoughtful before giving the boil a hug, "Remember the thing I was going to do? You'll get to see it now!" With that, she trotted towards the empty DJ booth...

Altair grinned when he saw the look on Nuk's face, knowing that the skinwalker wasn't at all unhappy to see him. After their fight, they'd both cooled off a great deal towards each other, the tension apparently released now that one knew the other's place. It didn't stop the incubus from pushing the skinwalker as far as he possibly could, though, and this occasion was no exception. Bruteball season would undoubtedly be full of heckling, fighting, and swearing more so than productive practice. Pleased that Nuk accepted his challenge, the incubus smirked at him, their nearly equal height putting them on even eye level, baring his teeth a little as he fisted the front of his tailored red vest. A game of chicken, indeed. The demon was disposed not to give half a jack what anybody else thought about him, but he knew the skinwalker was more than slightly defensive whenever anything gay came up in relation to him (the monster truly doth protest too much). "You'd better be careful, Nuk, I don't think we're playing the same game, here," Altair taunted him cavalierly as he pulled him through the sweeping motions of a waltz, giving him a spin, the movements far clumsier than his earlier dances with Eris, and not really out of intention. He laughed outright at Nuk's insult, pulling him in close, his face mockingly smarmy. "Oh darling, I didn't know you cared. What's the matter, skinwalker, jealous?"

GhoulyYeah, Mot called her ghouly. She cringed and later registered the cold feet thing. Once again the cowboil was calling her out. Taking her by the hand (looking over, the "King" and "Queen" had done just so- ...ceremonial? ), she went down to the dance floor with Mot to begin their courtly dance. Whether she liked it or not, it appeared that she'd have to dance with him. ...wait till Ma hears they got me wearin' a dress n' callin' me a princess Levi struggled to get the word out, understanding still where Mot was coming from by being embarrassed. That was something ghouls were called when they were ghouly. She cringed again. ... err- second thought maybe better ta keep'it ta maself. Ghoul had a rep to protect back home which she fought tooth and nail to get. Folding hands behind Mot's neck automatically, she sighed at a new though developing in her mind while they waltzed: Levi would need to be that much rougher here at school now that the boils had seen her in this situation. Mot seemed to have a working strategy against the tatzel which she herself did not see. His words had an impact on her. Brow furrowing, she kept into rhythm with Mot's movements, aiding him with his trickier attempts to lift her by using her tail for extra balance where needed. Then the music changed and she was egged on again to stay on the dance floor. Picking up a little more, Levi took her hands off of Mot and grabbed him by an arm instead and spun. The song was nearly finished when Levi decided she was a bit under the weather. It was time for her to pick up another beverage. Alright- down, cowboil. Think I'mma be takin' a break 'ere... need'a 'nother refill. Putting a hand to her now crowned head, she unslid her arm off of Mot's and headed for the refreshments. Turning back once more, she nodded with approval to Mot. He'd danced well. And off she went.

Mot laughed at Levi's words, shaking his head. He did love to antagonize the ghoul. Maybe he would ease up a bit.
Lucky for him, he got one more fun dance in before the ghoul needed to take a breather. Mot nodded, smirking slyly. "Thanks a bunch Levi~." He grinned, and moved away from the dance floor...

Who else but Lizzy could have requested such a song? After all, she was dressed for it and she had asked Mot - a cowboil, uh, fan - out to prom as her date... And yet, she had been a terrible date for the boil, in her eyes. At the (now empty) DJ booth, she hijacked the mic and tapped it before speaking into it, her face red from embarrassment at what she was doing, but her will was strong, "HEY MOT, THIS SONG? IT'S FOR YOU."With that, she walked to the dance floor, her face getting redder and redder with each step; she also effectively ignored Nuk and Altair since they were making a fool of themselves. Or having a bromance fight-dance. Who knows? She then stopped as the song started in the background, taking a pose.

'Well I'm packing up my game and I'm a head out west-'
As the song really started, she looked up (in Mot's direction, really) before starting on what looked like line dancing, her dress puffing up as she started to hop and move around the dance floor, hat pulled down so as to hide her eyes. For the first time ever, she could appreciate why Mot liked to hide his eyes from others. After all, her heart was racing as she danced.
SHEFELTSOEMBARRASSED! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

'I can smell a pig from a mile away-" The song of a piano being played could be heard straight after this line of the song, and Lizzy stopped dancing, quickly stepping off the dance floor, heading straight for her date. It should be noted that her hat was still pulled down, but when she reached Mot, she pushed it back before pushing the brim of his hat back as well. Her face had reached its maximum redness by now, but she was determined to finish what she had started.
"Dance with me, cowboil? We didn't get much time together tonight, even though I was the one who asked you to be my, uh, date... I apologize." She grinned sheepishly, holding out a hand towards him as she stared up into the eyes of the reaper.

Woah, what was that? He heard Lizzy talking really loudly to him? Wait.. sh was... Mot looked back to the DJ booth, seeing Lizzy start up a song just for him... and she danced. Mot's expression was similar to that when he won Prom Prince, except he was now a deep shade of red. A song was being played just for him. A cowboy song. And Lizzy was dancing like a fool, just like he had. He was actually a bit touched. Especially since Lizzy seemed to be embarrassed with herself. Soon the demoness approached him, lifting the brim of her hat and then his, which exposed his shocked expression and blushing complexion. He soon smiled, then grinned. "Of course I will." He grabbed her hand, and danced back to the center of the dance floor. They could be fools together.

Her earlier question now forgotten in the back of her mind Mitsu focused on the dance floor as the Prom court started off their dance. It was a sight to see witnessing the waltzing after all the other dances she had seen. This dance was much more....elegant.
Silently she enjoyed the show, her fill of dancing having been met she no longer looked longingly at the floor. Her interest, however, perked after some time when the pink haired spider demon made her way up to the SJ booth and apparently requested something. Mitsu's eyes lit up in amusement hoping Xui was taking pictures of Lizzy's performance. The demoness was quite the dancer!
When Lizzy finally ran off to join Mot, Mitsu finally turned up to Shun. She had a fairly good break and felt much better now. "I think I'm ready to head back if you are." There was a smile again, maybe not the biggest but certainly a bright one that lacked that nervous edge.

She giggled when Mot took her hand, dancing as foolishly as she did back onto the dance floor. When they were there, back on the dance floor, she placed her hand on his shoulder, beaming at the boil before starting to rock the dance floor, dancing to the rather fast paced song. As usual, she wasn't the one leading, but she was having a lot of fun.

And they rocked the dance floor with their first big couple dance...

They had been dancing quite a long time now and Charlie was loosing track of time. He just wanted to dance with his special friend until she left... to talk to another boil? W-WHAT! The demon froze in place for a moment and just watched Amrita leave. She was so far away now! And talking to another boil. Normal sensed Charlie might have gone up to Amrita and Christof and started trouble over this but Charlie wasn't normal sensed. His heart felt like it was in his stomach and he felt lost. Charlie stood there with a >: face.

Smiling at both Demi and Marzena's reactions, even though the latter didn't seemed as amused, the Baku flipped through more of the pictures. "I got a couple shots of that--of everyone, I think--along with some other pictures." She showed him a few others: Nuk photobombing one image with his dancing, Riley's tentacles dragging Jericho under the table, and another with Riley dragging Junko under the table this time.
...Did she have any normal pictures? Aside from the first few shots, everything else was of the students letting loose. Silly dancing, weird situations...she seemed to have captured most of them on camera. "I'm not sure what I'm going to do with these pictures," She admitted, flipping back to the picture she had started on--Demi's hip-thrusting--and setting the camera back on the table. "I'll probably send them to everyone in the photos--unless you'd rather I not." She added quickly, holding up her hands, "If you'd rather I keep your dancing picture to myself--or, er, private--then I'll avoid sending that one out."
Xiu made a note to ask everyone for their permission first. She certainly hoped they would at least let her keep the pictures though, especially since they were a testament of how much fun the night had been. It was a pity that the night was going to draw to a close so quickly. Turning to Vaith, she smiled at him. "We still haven't danced at all, have we? If you're up for it, dance with me for the last one, okay?" What better person was there to end the prom with than her date?
Looking back to Demi, she tilted her head curiously. "What about you, Demi? Do you dance?"

Mot laughed at himself after their jig toward the dance floor, settling into a more normal-ish fast paced dance soon after. "Thanks Lizzy. Sorry if haven't been a very attentive date." After all, he'd danced with two other ghouls other than Lizzy. That was not very gentlemanly of him, right? He had gotten so caught up in so many moments, he hadn't spent all that much time with Lizzy.
