"heh, great name" Rissa mumbled sarcastically as she leaned against Ephraim slightly, a light frown on her face at his explanation to the darkness around them.
"oh...great..... so when he decides to attack.....?" Krystina muttered as she sat up a bit.
"ugh...fan-fricking-tastic..." Truth sighed as she hit her head against her knees.
Lianna gave a tiny sigh and shook her head, lightly spinning an old charm in her hands. "so...there's no possibility of stopping him?" she mumbled, lightly rubbing her thumb across the dragon charm.

"I doubt he'll be unstoppable," Trevor frowned slightly. "Nyeh. He's stoppable. We'd just have to find something he wouldn't hurt and put it in his way or use a powerful being of light to damage him enough that he has to revert," Ephraim answered rather casually as he gave Rissa a light squeeze to reassure her she'd be safe. "Wait a second... Shadowheart dislocated his leg. Even if he were to switch entities, the injury would still effect him, right?" Maso asked with a slight raise of his brow. "Well yea. If the leg gets dislocated again, he'd have to give up the idea of darkness conquering the world while it heals itself again and he'd have gotten bored of waiting. The dark isn't patient.""Breakfast is ready. I set it up in the dining room, Hades smiled lightly as he peeked into the livingroom.

"thanks Hades! we'll be there in a second!" Krystina smiled at him before looking back at everyone. "so what? are you saying that either we use my brother as a human shield or we have someone dislocate his leg again?" she frowned, not liking either option.
"that doesn't sound good at all..." Truth grimaced and shook her head.
Rissa held his hand tightly, a tiny smile on her face. "uhm.... well...if worst comes to worst.... i could use my elemental powers?" she offered, chewing on her lip as she looked at her friends; the only one who didn't look confused being Lianna.
"that might be helpful ..." Lianna nodded lightly to her friend

"Human shield," Trevor snickered softly before slapping his hand over his mouth. "It creeps me out how sadistic your dad can be, Truth. He's probably remembering all the missions he used an enemy as a human shield," Ephraim muttered with a slight scowl. "Well, every ninja and/or assassin has used an enemy as a human shield... I believe the elemental idea and possibly Ephraim going for a dislocated leg would work. Effy is faster than most of us," Maso murmured lightly after watching Hades head back into the dining room to set up different drink options on the table. "Well everyone but you, Hades and Shayde. You're like the wind, Shayde's like the shadows and Hades is a legendary ninja-assassin that still lives. Perhaps a near-death experience will give you some of your memories back." Maso flicked him off before staring at the ground with a frown.

"it creeps me out too." truth sighed and shook her head as she looked at her dad.
"Kana's pretty fast too but...well;she's out for this... since she's actually still recovering." Lianna sighed and pulled a hand through her hair.
Krystina gave a small sigh as she lightly kissed Maso's cheek before looking to the rest of the group. "well; as much as we should finish this conversation; we also need to eat. why don't we continue in the dining room?" she smiled at everyone.
Rissa nodded and smiled softly at everyone, feeling a bit awkward still.

"Sorry. I found it funny back then to make the enemy turn on it's own and it still makes me laugh when I think back on it," Trevor smiled as he stood up and started towards the diningroom. "Weirdo. I'm still in contemplation over mine and her speed compared, but I'm leaning towards her being faster than me. Let's eat. My stomach's eating itself," Ephraim grumbled, his voice seeming much deeper than it was a second ago. He lightly ran his fingers through Rissa's hair before gently kissing her on the cheek and heading towards the diningroom behind Trevor. "We can continue this over food. I agree with Effy on the factor of my stomach eating itself," Maso smiled lightly as he hugged Krystina and mouthed a quick thanks at her. Hades waved lightly at those entering the diningroom as he remained seated at the table sprinkling sugar and cinnamon on his small plate of food.

"huh, so that's where deception gets it from." Truth chuckled as she stood, shoving her hands in her pockets as she followed her dad.
"maybe when things settle down and everyone's feeling their best, you two could have a race." Rissa chuckled softly, her cheeks a light red from the kiss on the cheek. she moved slowly to the dinning room, chewing on her lip as she thought things over in her mind.
Lianna gave a small smile as she slipped into the dinning room, grabbing Rissa as she passed her and pulling her along. as soon as they were in, she let her friends arm go and went to sit by hades. "looks good."
"lets go eat then" Krystina smiled lightly as she followed Maso, holding his hand tightly as they walked into the dining room. she glanced at where rissa was still standing and let out a sigh. she must've had another nightmare, judging by the look on her face. the idea worried her, but she couldn't say anything until they'd figured out what to do with the darker side of Shadowheart.

"Nope. She gets practically everything from her mother other than elemental abilities. Water, light and Earth are my eleme-hehehe," Trevor murmured lightly before suddenly choking up on his words and started scurrying out of the room with Maso quickly tightening his grip reflexively on Krystina's hand. "I'm sorry.... I'm sorry...." was all that could be heard in a hoarse whisper from him. It was being repeated over and over again. "Karma's here," Ephraim muttered with a slight shudder as he slid a chair out for Rissa and snapped his fingers in front of her while using his foot to slide out Truth's chair. "Rissa and Truth, your seats.""Thanks. I wanted to make simple and quick so Ephraim wouldn't eat everyone else and Lulu's asleep so about three-quarters of the food won't vanish in the blink of an eye," Hades smiled lightly while watching a woman looking like Deception come in. "Hmm... I wonder what she'd say if she knew Shadowheart and myself dropped Deception as a pupil...""Surprise. Had to scare your daddy off. The nutjob is still getting over that meltdown he had. Play anything I used to listen to, love songs and several other types of music around him and he curls up on the floor for a week. I love tormenting him with it around his birthday, my birthday, you girl's birthday, our anniversary of marriage and our anniversary of his retirement.
"Sorry. I wasn't all that supportive with your problems, Truth. Sheila aggravates the Hell outta me with her constant begging of me getting Sheik's necklace. Drop it, Rune, or I'll trap you back in your head with all those intimate moments of death between you and your ex-lover. Good boy. I never help Sheila. She's a thorn in my side, but she has excellent taste in clothes. Acquired this outfit from the back of her closet like most never worn outfits. How are ya feeling, baby girl?" Karma hummed as she lightly hugged Truth to her an evil smile flashing at Maso who slid behind Krystina, his eyes on the ground. "Karma's a b*tch. Made one friend with his dad's best friend's daughter and he ends up dead. I didn't expect his return let alone his wings being ripped out. I wonder if it made a squelching sound when they were." Maso slid his hand out of Krystina's and ran out of the room with his hand over his mouth. "Still gets sick at that. So fun. Anyhoo, seriously though, how are ya feeling, Truthy?"

Truth gave a small frown as she looked at her mom with ice blue eyes, her hands turning into fists in her pockets. “I’m fine mom.” She grumbled, chewing on her lip to keep from yelling at the woman.
Rissa glanced from Ephraim to her friends with a small frown, lightly taking hold of his hand when she saw Karma.
Krystina glared at the woman, holding Maso’s hand tightly until he ran out. “Do you have to be so mean to them?” she grumbled, crossing her arms. “What did they ever do to you, hm?” she hissed, saying exactly what truth wanted to say. “I get that you’re worried for truth, but you don’t have to be a total b*tch to everyone else!” she huffed, digging her nails into her arm to keep from doing anything else.
Lianna gave a soft sigh as she walked over to Krystina and lightly placed a hand on her shoulder, muttering something to her in Latin, smiling softly when she nodded and relaxed a bit.
“Mom…. My friend is right, don’t bug the guys,” Truth muttered as she watched Krystina run out of the room for Maso. “and I’m fine… I’ve gotten over what happened…. No big deal.” She shrugged, looking at the floor with rather emotionless eyes. I’m just another useless girl now… no one’s gonna want me…. she thought to herself as she let her mother continue hugging her. “and quit being mean to daddy… he’s just upset…because he loved you so much… and you’re hurting him by leaving like you did….
Krystina gave a small frown as she hurried after Maso, letting out a sigh when she found him. “you okay?” she murmured softly, lightly hugging him.

Trevor was sitting in a corner of the livingroom biting into his hand to keep from mumbling in the Sheikah tongue to himself. "A little lightheaded and nauseated, but yea. I should be alright if I keep pushing certain memories of being back on Earth to the back of my mind," Maso mumbled lightly while trying to stop his entire body from trembling. Hades had returned to mixing his food together with the sugar and cinnamon on his plate, his gaze having returned to the plate instead of glaring at Karma. Ephraim smiled lightly at Rissa before pulling her into his lap as he sat down in his chair. "I thought he'd get over it by now, the wuss. He should've stayed an assassin. He wouldn't have even noticed I was gone. Watari is a gentle nudge back to remembering what's been forgotten. Runealis is due for many taunts based upon how many karma lines he's snapped over his centuries of existence. Oh. Right. Runealis Sareila died when he became an assassin. It's Rune now, right? As for Harvey, that's technically his guardian's and your sister's fault that he gets freaked out around girls. Too bad he's interested in the elemental chiquitita. I always thought you and Harvey would make a cute couple," Karma hummed sweetly as she lightly kissed Truth on the forehead. "There's always Jude. He's one of Harvey's friends and a total sweetie pie. I think you'd like him and he judges based on the inside, not the outside. He's still single too. You wouldn't like the other one. He's in denial. Besides, being a b*tch is what I do best.""She still can't pronounce my name... I'd introduce her to Jude if I knew where he was. He went MIA seven months ago as of yesterday," Ephraim muttered softly as he brushed a hair out of his face. "Hades as of recent actually."

Rissa smiled at Ephraim and hugged him, her cheeks a light red.
Lianna gave a small sigh and shook her head as she watched everything, doing her best not to lose it like Krystina had.
"its okay..." Krystina murmured softly as she hugged him, lightly kissing his cheek. "c'mon, wanna help me get Trevvy out of his funk?" she sighed, motioning to where the man was biting his hand.
"i don't wanna date...." Truth muttered quietly, looking at the floor still.

kats_demonic_resistance {(Been reading your story. It's pretty good.)} Maso nodded slightly as he lightly hugged Krystina back, kissing her softly on the cheek. He then slowly stood back up and stepped over to Trevor, waving a hand in front of him. "Trevvy, you can't keep hiding from her." Trevor mumbled something inaudible yet foreign sounding which just made Maso raise an eyebrow. "Remove your hand from your mouth and speak up."Hades took a small bite of his food, partially wanting to leap over the table and shove the fork into Karma's eye. He pushed that thought back down while setting down his broken chopsticks. "Please don't turn into your father. One girl hurt him and he broke down completely. You'll find a better guy than ol' what's his face anyways. There's always someone better in the world," Karma sighed in a not-so-sweet and totally aggravated manner. "I've got my eye set on a demon prince right now. Fine. I just wanted to check on you. I'll see you around. Harvey, be a dear and at least introduce them.""Don't touch me, Karma," Ephraim said in a dangerously calm tone making Karma retract her hand as she waved her goodbye and headed out the door. "I hate her.""Everyone does. Except Trevor. He got lured in by that succubus only to have his heart ripped out of his chest."

Krystina let out a sigh and shook her head. "c'mon. you gotta face your fears sooner or later...." she muttered, offering him her hand. "besides, truth's in there with her... and the woman's trying to set her up on a date when she's still getting over what the jerk did." she murmured, keeping her other arm around Maso. lianna let out a tiny sigh as she slid her hand into Hades', to keep him and herself from doing anything dumb. Truth didn't say anything as her mother said goodbye, she just kept staring at the floor. rissa gave a small frown and shook her head. "that woman's more twisted then a contortionist in the middle of a routine." she sighed and leaned on Ephraim some. "she's a nasty piece of work... that's for sure.""effie... you don't have to introduce me to him..."

"Come on, Tyvinda. At least I'm trying to conquer my fear of how I died. You just curl up in a ball like this. Can you at least try to sit in the same room as your ex-wife without starting to go hehehe or start babbling about her being an evil, traitorous slutbag of a tramp? Can you also speak English so everyone else can understand you?" he sighed lightly while scratching his nose. "I can't help it... I'm not Time, the assassin who stops time when he strikes anymore... I'm just Trevor, the mentally unstable dad... I'm just Tyvinda Le'Shaer, older brother of Sheila and Sheik of the Sheikah Clan," Trevor mumbled in response while wiping the drool from his hand. "Evil succubus b***h... No offense intended, Truth. As for introducing you with Jude, it'd be your choice on meeting a guy I know. I'm not gonna just drag some strange guy into the house just to introduce you to him. It isn't even possible right now due to Jude having gone missing seven months ago without a trace," Ephraim responded gently as he lightly hugged Rissa closer. "Would anyone mind if I reverted back to legendary assassin just to kill Karma?" Hades asked bluntly in a low growl. "How about we not let all of this food go to waste? You did make it for all of us."

Dantes_river glad to know you like it~! i'll definitely keep writing. Krystina sighed and shook her head. "from what truth's told me, she just wants her dad to be truly happy again... she doesn't like seeing you scared... or in a panic over Karma." she murmured. "and you're not mentaly unstable. mentally unstable is someone who runs around with a chainsaw cutting people up with a smile that goes from ear to ear. and i know that's not you.""none taken, the woman is what she is." truth shrugged, finally looking up to people, a red ring around the inner part of her iris. "as to your friend... i'm not really... wanting a relationship... oh and Hades, right now, i'd be more then glad to help you with that... she irks me." "food sounds good.""yeah, especially when it all looks this good."
