Liana
'The scar on a demon is much more deep than it would be on a human, we change and I personally have a hard time falling in love again especially with the concern of him dieing brutally in front of my eyes' Liana looked away and ate some of her food looking almost bitter and scorned but not to Van.
Damien kept his normal tone on his face for a moment "I don't have to have a purpose to be here now do I?" he relaxed a little more "I can be as random as I like and no one can stop me, especially not some human"
He gave out a short laugh as he shook his head "I especially don't care what her master thinks about me, what is he going to do? If he thinks he can fight me he's a huge idiot" he was staring right at Van "Especially since he doesn't know my weaknesses so if he wants to fight it would be like fighting a giant boulder"

Ivan Van Veen‘Have you ever fallen for a demon? Would you ever fall for a demon?’
“Everyone has a purpose, no matter what they say.”
Van glanced down into his plate, remembering Liana’s warning about looking into Damien’s eyes. Don’t want to be enslaved to anyone, especially not some demon upstart. He only shrugged at Damien’s choice of words regarding a potential fight with him. Van liked a challenge (and what more of a challenge could a demon present?) but he wasn’t stupid. He needed a happy killing ground before he even seriously thought about ending Damien. Let the man boast. He’ll just be over confident when I do start to kill him. Only when Damien had finished his “I’m always going to be better then you, no matter what you do” spew did Van speak again.
“You’re making Liana uncomfortable. Please leave. You’re not welcomed here, Damien.”

Liana
Damien looked between the two of them as he mainly looked right at Van and his jaw suddenly tightened it seemed unexplainable and almost random but that was how Damien could be "She doesn't seem to be uncomfortable but I think it is time for now for me to take my leave" he said and stood up "It was nice meeting you Van and Liana" his eyes turned to her and his hand shot out grabbing hers. Her eyebrows furrowed and she tried to pull back but he was still stronger than her. His hand was cold and made Liana feel frigid which she hated he leaned down and his lips pressed to the skin on her hand. "I'll see you soon" he spoke as his eyes connected with hers and then he let go of her hand and left.
Liana curled her hand back and her other hand rubbed where he had kissed "b*****d" she muttered softly shaking her head.

Ivan Van Veen"I have to say, I do not like him."
Van dropped the pretext of eating and pushed the barely touched plate away from him with some contempt. He pulled his sleeve back and checked his...that is to say, Liana's, watch. He frowned and tapped the crystal twice.
"Liana, your home appears to not work. Of course."
Van shrugged. He had another, rarely used watch at the apartment in a bedside table. He nodded at Liana's hand, noticing that she was still cradling it.
"Does it hurt?"

Liana
Liana wasn't really paying attention to what he was saying. She was staring down at her food as there was a frown on her face and her eyebrows were furrowed she looked a little angry and upset.
When his attention turned to her she blinked and looked at him "What?" she looked down at her hand that she was cradling "Oh no it's fine" she held it out seeing it was in perfect condition.
Looking at his watch she grabbed his hand softly that had the watch on it and her hand went over the watch. It changed to a nicer looking watch but not too nice looking and the hands began to move and tell the time. "You'll look silly with two watches on" she commented.

Ivan Van Veen “Thanks.”
Van admired his now ticking watch, noting the hour. Still so early? He’d’ve thought that his little assassination might’ve taken longer. Not that I’m complaining. From the corner of his eye, spotted Liana’s little line between her eyebrows as she frowned. Why is it that all women have that line when they frown? He bit back a sigh.
"What’s wrong? You’re frowning. Is it still Damien? Why don't you just kill him? I'm sure with my help it'll be possible."

Liana
She shook her head "We wouldn't win, he would aim to kill you and once you're dead I would go right back into the watch it wouldn't be a hard match" she said "Plus he is one thousand years older than me which means the older a demon is the stronger they are"
Liana letted go of her hand and relaxed taking another sip of her wine as she took a piece of her food and ate some more. Van might not have been hungry but she sure was.

Ivan Van Veen "I'm a lot more resilient then I look. And I have some ideas of how to take him down. If you could just distract him for a few minutes and he'd be nothing more then a bad memory."
Van finished off his drink; he motioned for another one as soon as he caught the eye of a waitress.

Liana
She glanced at little at him before looking at him again "I think for right now I'm fine with not killing him" she was being honest as she shrugged turning back to her food to put a little bit on her food. Eating the food off she set it down "I mean I do hate him but I have to admit there were times he came in handy. He has helped me when I asked for it, he can be the biggest p***k but he's useful"
She twirled her fork around a little bit as she was thinking she let out a breath of a laugh "I can't believe I'm defending him slightly" she scrunched her nose and shook her head.

Ivan Van Veen "I knew you liked him. Damien, I mean."
Van had a knack for sensing these kinds of things. He wondered silently how that d**k-headed demon could have ever come in handy. Maybe if she ever got into a tight spot...
"He's bound by the same rules that you are, right? About hurting humans and what not? So if we found who his master was, couldn't we have him locked back up? Or better yet, can a human have two demons? Or is it a soul-binding thing?"
He sipped at his (second time over) refreshed alcoholic beverage, his mind whirling at the possibility.

Liana
She only rolled her eyes when he said that she liked him and then she just let out a soft sigh.
Swallowing some more of her food she shrugged "I have seen a demon bound to more than one person and it's very likely for a human to have two demons since if the human was wearing both demons possession or jewelry in lamer terms there is nothing in the rules and your not soul bound to me completely" she told him.
"Why are you thinking of making Damien bound to you as well?" she asked him curiously knowing either Liana or he would have to find the girl Damien is bound to and kill her.

Ivan Van Veen "Because then he can't be a bother to either of us. I could just order him to not be an annoying, pompous dandy."
Ah the possibilities. Van smiled to himself before stealing a piece of Liana's bacon. It tasted better because it was stolen. 'How hard can it be to find someone who doesn't want to be found? It was his job after all, to find those kinds of people. Usually to kill them, but once or twice Van had being used as a "fetch quester." Annoying, but a refreshing change.
"Is there a to make a demon 'soul bound' to me?"

Liana
"Yes" she stated "That would make things less complicated and it would be extremely interesting and amusing as well" she gave a small grin as she picked up a fry and popped it into her mouth as well.
Liana munched on her fry as she was a little confused by Van's question which just made her shrug her shoulders "No idea" she pressed her lips together "it's not like we get a handbook that tells us everything we need to know, it's a learning process as well go and we sometimes find out new things."

Ivan Van Veen"They should get you a handbook. It only makes since to make sure that you demons can answer all the questions us mortals have. Da?"
Van's gaze returned to his drink, mulling over the problem of how to track down Damien's owner. Killing him, or her as the case may be, will be easy. A couple of hollow points to the medulla oblengota and they'll be dead without even a chance to scream, much less get her little demon b***h to help her. He'll unplug and drop like a sack of potatoes, binding Damien back into his jeweled home. And all spoils go to the victor. There were a couple of potential hitches as Van saw it in the plan. A) The mark happened to be standing right next to Damien and B) if A were true, how to avoid his mind control? He frowned, thinking.

Liana
Liana stared at Van for a moment knowing he was thinking but she just waited for a minute before she would interrupt it. Sitting there beside him she was finished with her food being full now so she took a sip of her drink hydrating herself.
"So" she finally spoke getting a little impatient "Any plans on how to find his master?" she asked him with a smirk on her face she had a couple suggestions but she wanted to see what he cam up with first.
