David snorted again. He almost wanted Big Guy to start a bar fight with Dr. Question.

"I'm going to go back to the library and research," Zach said, getting up and patting Emma on the shoulder. She gave Emma a bit of her life and told Emma that she would start looking for a way to help her as well as find a solution for the wing situation.

The enchantress nodded, shivering slightly.
She continued to stare down at her hands as they trembled.

Question glared at David. "Blow your frekkin' nose already." He started to realize how pumped up he was about something so silly. "Bartender, I need an extra large coffee." Coffee would calm his nerves.

David looked up from his magazine at Doctor Question with a serious yet bored expression on his face.
"Unless you're offering me a job, don't ******** talk to me." he replied. He coughed a few times and then placed the butt of his cigarette in an ashtray.

Skutz rolled her eyes at the spectacle of David and Question, "geeze....was I like that?" She went back to the bar and sat down one seat away from Emma. "I need to think...."

David sensed that he wasn't going to get hired to plug anybody tonight. Hopefully Red would hire him again to kill Blondy or maybe Blondy would hire him to kill Red.
He got up and left the tavern, leaving the old starship magazine on the bar counter.

Emma shivered as magic that was not her own swept through her.
The spell moved quickly, taking hold of her essence and working as hard as it could.
Miles away, a tall figure peered at a scrying crystal in his hand. Within its depths, an image of Emma floated.
"Almost..."

As if she weren't walking on the actual ground, she danced lithely through the front doors of the bar, with a pacified smirk on her ruby lips. Satisfied, she was, but oh so bored now. Of course, she would eventually return home, and once she thought if it, she was surprised to see that Vii hadn't been there when she awoke. Not that she'd had any trouble procuring her own meal. Initially she had been hesitant, but the thirst drove her instinctively, as natural as walking. Striding proudly with her head held high, Regal assumed a place behind the bar, pouring a large coffee for the Doctor. "Here you go." She purred over the sound of the music, discovering her voice had taken on a much more complex version of its former self. Smiling so widely, her granite face threatened to crack, but she could help how pleased she was to finally be a vampire. Also pleased at how natural it seemed to be for her to adapt to. Oh perhaps the Doctor is contagious? Her mind jested at the patron's expense. Across the room she could see Emma appeared to be trembling, and she wondered if she could use a good stiff drink. Pouring a scotch on the rock and appearing at her side in an instant, she set the drink on the table and winked at her. "Anything else I can get you?" She whispered not wanting to disturb her further.

Seven could smell the other vampire and knew immediately who she was before ever laying eyes on her at all. Regal looked amazing. The change in her had enhanced her natural beauty, but her eyes had gone a bloody red. Seven lofted the railing, landing on the tavern's wood floor with a loud thud. Striding over to her, he removed one of the latches from his mask and beamed proudly at her. She acknowledged him, but the realization of his identity was almost comedic on her pale cherub's face. "You've hunted?" He asked blatantly, disregarding the sensitivities of hus human patrons dismissively. ★★★★★★★

"Yes, I did." She said frankly before adding, "What the hell happened to you?" Almost instantly she was around the bat and standing within inches of him. He was so much like Vii, but nearly unrecognizable. He looked so beautiful, like a perfect statue carved thousands of years ago, but glowing with a strange orange-red hue that had nothing to do with the pigments of his skin, or lack thereof in their case. Somehow in the immeasurable time she was undergoing a supernatural rebirth, her mistress had fallen victim to a gender change. The sky was clear and crisp, and the half moon hung brilliantly in the sky, like a spotlight on the earth. It was the most beautiful thing Regal had ever seen, enhanced by the vision of the vampire. She was giddy, but concerned for her mother's sake.

Shaking his head in frustration Seven mumbled something about a 'virus' and the Battledome and Regal appeared to understand somewhat. With a shrug Seven brought the fledgling's wrist to his mouth and just held it there. It was warmer than his because of her recent kills, and it's smell reminded him of himself and Arya VerDoorne and something very wild, untamed by society and very much alive within his fledgling. "It is only temporary, I'm told, so I've chosen this as a costume for the season." the vampire explained with a reluctant shrug. "How do you feel?" He asked, acknowledging her instinctive hunting success, envious for a moment. ★★★★★★★

Emma wandered into the tavern seeking refuge from the cold.
She hadn't felt truly chilled in a long time, and she hated being affected by temperature.
Pulling the folds of her cloak tighter around her tiny frame, she sat down in a booth.

The tavern doors opened, and the Imperator walked in. It was obvious he had changed a bit, but he seemed not to notice or care.
Whatever the case, he was producing quite a bit of heat, and he was also dressed up nice and pretty. He didn't recognize Emma under her cloak and didn't say anything to her. He sat down at a table nearby and ordered some red wine.

Emma's eyes widened as Remus walked by her, and she cast back the hood of her cloak.
There were fine lines around her eyes, signs of age.
"Oh my..."
