Don't we also have to take into account the sorts of people each of us should and should not be able to beat...?
I mean, they've got Bull and Yamato and stuff, so they're like captain level (or a bit above. Kind of like the 13th Squad captain from the series and the other guy with the flower kimono device, both of whom shall remain nameless merely because I don't recall and because I'm too lazy to wikipedia it... But I digress.). From what we've seen in the manga, the espada can pretty much take them out or at least handle them with no problem.
However, the majority of the espada are falling prey to the vaizards. So, I figure the greatest threat is Jan. This, of course, brings up the question of how much Espada ranks like Temor and me (ostensibly, we're more powerful than the rest 'cause we're leaders and powerful espada. Not to inflate our egos, though. That's just how I figure it) should be able to take in terms of battling Jan and others like him. What are the limitations? I mean, we shouldn't just wilt the minute he steps onto the field, but at the same time, we shouldn't be able to evade or withstand his attacks with nearly as much indifference as we would show others of a different level.
Does this make sense, or am I over-thinking it? I mean, as arrancar, especially as Espada, we want to be able to show off and be all badass "no, you can't hurt me. but keep trying. you amuse me." but at the same time, we have to play it fair. Obviously, we're not going to just lay down and let Jan trample us, but... Again, I'm kinda babbling.
And, if you get my drift and we extend them this courtesy of acknowledging their power, shouldn't they do the same for us? The lower ranks *should* feel our spiritual pressure. They *should* have a hell of a time withstanding our attacks, or at least be suitably injured by them. This is the sort of thing that worries me. Both sides are likely unwilling to give way. For example, if I, the Primera, accept an injury, that makes all of Las Noches look weak. At the same time, I should be acknowledging my opponent's power, right? So where do we draw the line?
And then how do we police this? It can get very frustrating for low ranks to constant ignore our assumed power, yet bugging them about it is sometimes hard, and often they don't listen. Also, simply leaving the RP is like a "win" for them. Also, those of the higher ranks, especially those who have held that rank for a long time, seem to think themselves invincible. This, again, is difficult to address without being both whiny and disrespectful. Still, I think it's a problem in this guild. Especially with some of the *real* veterans who migrated from BSS. I don't mean to target them, but they are rather godlike in their strengths. It can be daunting to deal with them. (No offense, seriously-- I know the whole BSS saga and it's cool how you took a stand and all.)
Still, it's an endless, vicious cycle, and I'm babbling again.
Am I the only one who thinks about this?

Am I the only one who thinks about this? No I have thought of this, it's why I am not fighting Bull. Or even going to try. Your a fair rper and everything you just seem like an insurmountable wall in which I cannot pass. Though I think it should play out fine, you and Temor will be fine. I mean if you really want you could get some 3rd party people to be judges and etc.

It's not that I want judges. That just gets messy and controversial. I just hope that this scenario can be played out well. It has the potential to be both epic and amusing for all parties involved, but it also has the distinct possibility of turning sour. I've heard things about certain RPers whom I won't name that tend to pull powers out of no where (like you said, Chief) or deem themselves demi-gods and, thus, invincible.
Such things worry me. I don't even know what I'm allowed to do as the Primera whee

If we take it from Starrk as your POWAH LEVEL. Now think about it.
Starrk has taken on 2 Captain Class Shinigami AT THE SAME TIME! He is fooking strong as hell, not to mention he was using his resurrecion and they were only using Shikai but these are still two strong fellas, he was able to figure out things exceptionally fast too. Now not only that he also took on another 2 Vaizards at the SAME TIME (Using Hollow Mask and Shikai) and WON with one of his stronger moves.
From that we can gather you're able to take on 2 Captains at once with resurrecion.

Agreed and since we are also leaders of Las Noches I think taking on one more captain isn't out of the question. So I think we'll fair out just find. I know when someone has me in a bind I give credit to their power. I can't recall an actual plot scenario where I haven't taken damage. I was almost blown up by Smico during the "Sout Pillar" fight against 4 opponents. Plus we have a veteran like Wulf who can also hold his own. Wulf and I are probably the only remaining espada from when this first got started off and kept our ranks. Triox is on from time to time, but already expressed that he doesn't wanna be an espada, so that is also another powerful ally that they probably are overlooking. In all I think we can take 4 captain class shinigami and Jan as long as everyone remains fair and gives credit to where it's due. If not then I'm sure people will notice anyway and say something on the matter.
Just a few of my rambling thoughts.

Temor makes a good point. I also think that the word should be put out again to everyone in the guild about the use of rank and powers/abilities. Example being, I came across an unseated member of one of the squads who still thinks they can take me. Now we all know that an Arrancar can go pretty much toe-to-toe with a Vice Captain. So how can I not beat the tar out of an unranked team member? See what I mean?
Just my 2 cents .... wink
