"Matthew?" Sue noticed him, because her nomadic senses were far above the others'. "What brings you here? You're... working for General Roy, aren't you? Tell me, is whatever he's planning almost in motion?"

I can't possitively say yes or no in regards to that; but I suspect that it is. Last night he asked me to bring him some keys, and I, embarrasingly enough, figured that he would just need any generic skeleton key. he raised his hand to scratch the back of his head and allowed a slight chuckle before continuing; his voice back to the usual volume. Anyway, it wasn't until earler that I realized that he had meant for me to bring the keys. So, if you wouldn't mind, who is currently holding any of them?

Rei got back down into the common area and saw a blond-haired young man asking for keys. "You there. What reason do you have for searching for these keys?"

(Hey, guys. Would the FEF castle be visible from the house, or no?)

After inspecting the dark mage for a few moments, the theif decided to respond with, Oh, no reason in particular I suppose. I was only going to borrow them to free some prisoners on my next visit to the castle. and adding a casual shrug to help play down what he had just said. But if you don't want to help out then that's fine by me. It saves me the trouble of delivering them to my accomplice, and both of us from potential death.
((Rhys: Not really sure, but I do try to put some time inbetween when I post here and there.))

"Ah. So, you expect me to hand over the fate of the crew to some random person that just barges in? I don't even know you, or your accomplice, so why would I even want to trust you? Besides. If you came from the castle, how do I know that you aren't a spy?"

Amelia had also fallen asleep, curled up on the foot of Rhys' bed. Her arms were tucked under her head, a peaceful smile on her face. "Mmph..." she mumbled as people started to speak, rolling over.

Allowing himself to laugh a little bit he replied with Haha, oh please! Do I really look like I could ever be a spy?! I'm opposed to that witch, Madrianna's oppression as anyone is. And believe you me, entrust me with those, and you will be far from disappointed. Matthew paused for a moment while trying to word this next part. As for my accomplice, let's just say that many know him, and that we're both working to see Lady Lilina returned safely.

"Ok, so you're working with someone. Good for you. But, still, I don't even KNOW YOU. Sure, you wanna free the Crew, but I don't even know your NAME, let alone if you can handle yourself in a fight..."

My name? Of course! How rude of me to have not even introduced myself yet... Matthew bowed gracefully, deciding that if this green-haired mage had been entrusted with the keys, then he was obviously worth trusting enough to avoid using a false identity with. My name's Matthew. I'm under the employment of House Ostia, and was in the company of Lord Hector, Marquess Eliwood, and Lady Lyndis back when they bested Nergal and that dragon.
I think that my involvment in that war should show that I can handle myself well enough in a fight. wink

[you can play this out how you want, but I'm just going to tell you now that the keys won't even work, if you try using them now. Not that you 'know' this. Also, I would say the castle is big enough to be seen from Fefga's house. ]

Ah! Speaking of Marquess Eliwood, how much do you know of his son, Lord Roy? he decided to add rather late.

Vika slept a disturbed sleep. Memories tormented her: Synra's face, how she'd promised to protect her and in the end failed. It was despairing, and it kept her from resting well. She moaned frequently in nightmare, but no one woke her sleep. It wasn't until many, many hours later she finally awoke.
Her eyes opened slowly. Vika found herself in a room by herself and one other...a small green-haired girl who, while looking better from ordeals with the Dar-- no, Madriana, she would never call that witch by an honorific ever again, not after she took Synra away - still looked a bit exhausted. Vika bit her lip and spoke hesitantly.
"You...you're Nino...aren't you?"
