Kale smirked, and then kissed her forehead briefly, and then headed towards the city with her, trying his best to block unnessary senses from her to a point she won't be overwelmed. They continued to walk into town, avoiding the middle of the city, as Kale looked for someone for her.
Talon nodded. "I don't really mind the cold, but I'll go adjust it for you." he stated, and left her briefly to turn down the AC into a warmer degree. When he came back it was a bit nicer degree, a lot warmer than before. "Better?"

Busy smelling the fresh air around her, she looked around at the scenery -- but not looking for a human.o

Kale kept her hand firmly in his, not letting her wander off, or anyone take her since there were those kinds of guys around the area they were walking through. Kale saw a few of them checking her out, though, and knew that they'd better get out of there fast if their secret was going to remain secret. So he pulled her closer to him and walked at a fast human pace.

Kaida was being dragged along rather fast -- for humans. 'Why are we going so fast?' She asked only him.

Kale glanced at her briefly, then purposely looked at the guys around them, for her to understand without exchanging words, keeping her close to him.

Kaida looked at the men, not quite understanding. When human, no boy ever noticed her -- so she didn't know what it was like. If Kale didn't want to talk about it though, she'd let it pass.

'They are dangerous to keeping our secret.' Kale told her finally, silently. He suddenly stopped as a group stood in front of them, then looked back noticing the others doing the same, surrounding them.
"That's a mighty fine chick there, are you taking a love stroll or something?" one of them asked.
"Let her come with us, we'll show her a good time." another stated amused.
"Forget it." Kale bit out angrily. "I suggest you scatter and let us pass before you all get hurt."

Kaida hid behind Kale, finally understanding what the men wanted. She could smell their blood. Maybe she could go with them...a good time in deed...not to mention a good meal....

'Too many Kaida, only one for the first time. If you have more, you'll go crazy and become a rogue vampire.' He thought to her silently.
The men laughed, "Don't you mean, you'll be the one to get hurt?" a few stated, pulling out knifes.
Kale shook his head slightly. "No, just you. I find it very difficult for any of you to hurt me."
"Really?" one asked, grabbing Kaida's arm suddenly. "Then what about your girly here? Is she as difficult to hurt too?"
Kale didn't even bother looking, but rolled his eyes at the question. "Yes, in fact, she's the same as me in dificulty."

Kaida sighed, figuring he'd know about her not-so-secret plans. Then the man grabbed her. She gasped and tugged away from him. "Let me go..." She said, her voice to them like an angel.

They were all surprised by her voice, but that just drove them to want her more. "Give her to us, I promise we'll take good care of her." one with a knife stated, pointing his weapon at Kale.
"I won't repeat myself." Kale stated, glaring at them dangerously.
((some help with the random guys? Please? I can't come up with a lot other than a fight scene and I'm not very good at those))

He smiled. "We promise." He repeated while throwing the knife.
While Kaida was distracted by Kale, three other men grabbed her and dragged her away, tugging at her clothes.

Kale ignored the knife, knowing it would just break on contact, and pulled Kaida away from them. "Touch her and I'll kill you." he growled out angrily, and just as he predicted, the knife broke on contact to his shoulder.
The guy who threw the knife seemed to be the only one who noticed though as the other pulled out theirs knifes and one actually had a gun out now too.

Kaida held onto Kale, shaking a bit. What a wimpy vampire.
The other men released fire on Kale only.
