Shiki woke up early in the morning, like she normally does. She sat up and looked at the men that accompany her. She regarded them with a calm and cold expression.

Evan had still been sleeping lightly and woke up when he heard Shiki moving. He opened his eyes and sat up more. "Feeling better?" he asked her.

Shiki sighed. She never took medicine when she was on Earth, in her hometown Mifune City...

He stretched a bit, being stiff from sleeping in a chair all night. He went and got her a glass of water and then putting it on the bedside table while he got the right amount of medicine for her. "So I was thinking about how to help you get back to Earth," he said.

Shiki looked at him with a slightly raised brow. She waited for him to tell her he couldn't find a way.

"And I was thinking that maybe the best way to try locate someone who could help you was to go back to where I come from," Evan suggested and offered her the pills.

Shiki scoffed quietly. So there really wasn't any way to get back...
She took the pills and swallowed them dry, then drank from the glass of water.

"Don't be so cynical," Evan said. "If there is anyone that I know who can has a way to get you back, it's my dad and if he doesn't, he'll know someone who does."

"If only life was as simple as going to your next of kin," Shiki said darkly. After the accident she never wanted to see her father ever again. He's the one responsible for her split mind.

Shoxie sniffed the air and his ears wiggled. "Uh-oh... Sorry, I think I have to go. Good luck with Shiki, Evan." Shoxie said and darted off.

"That's certainly one way to avoid answering," Shiki said and rolled her eyes, "Whatever. Lets' just go see your father; prove me right," She said and climbed out of bed. She felt a little woozy from the remnants of her cold.
