Inside the room was a bed, a shelf beside it filled with non-perishable food and water, a tv, and a few outfits folded and stacked on top of each other. The rest of the room, however, was a mess of machinery, old books, weapons, and a large shelf full of what could only be a miscellaneous assortment of magic related things.
Gossamer’s smile grew as she walked farther into the room, as if she had just returned home from work. She moved towards the large shelf, and inspected everything she had. Everything would be quite fun to use…but most of them would call for just the right timing or atmosphere. Plus, they were a little bulky, so she’d have to set something up somewhere, which meant she’d have to know that she’d be running into her spiders again. Passing by most of them, she came to some little amulets and rings. She looked at them a moment, picked out a few of each, then moved on down the shelf. There she picked up a few runes, a small orb, and a few bones.
Placing them all in her bag, she moved down towards the weapons. There, she picked up a few small daggers, a taser for something she’d make later, and then a small pistol. A special one. Honestly, she couldn’t remember why she left it behind the last time. Staring at it with a small reminiscent smile, she grabbed a gun holder, strapped it around her leg, and locked her pistol in place.
She then took another quick look around the room to make sure she wasn’t going to leave anything she might need right away. Suppose she could go use another outfit…but she just had her old get-up and a few tank tops and sweat pants here. Her old look might be ok…little too commando for her liking now though. She could go without it. She moved to the bits of random machinery and shifted through them, pocketing small pieces, bolts and wires.
With that, she swept by the books, picked up a thick notebook, and headed back out the door. Now to just check and see what all she had brought from that Stark building, then pick up any little bits and pieces she’d need for her machine.
Once out the door, she closed it, double checked to make sure it was spelled, then vanished into her mist form.
