((Yep, that was for you. 3nodding ))

Anatoly had trouble maintaining dual focus. He thought that perhaps he should try helping his new companion. As he watched, Mike's prism shrunk, then popped.

"Construct it one piece - one little fragment - at a time," Anatoly advised Mike. "And it may help to construct it on the ground first."

Mike glanced over at Anatoly for a second and said, "Thanks." He followed Anatoly's advice and reactivated his sticker this time going bit by bit and he felt it was a lot easier than it had been while he was creating it in his hand.

((JOE, YOU HAVE BEEN PLAYING TOO MUCH MUSIC

EVERYTHING RESONATES))

Nathan was already in the lunch room, properly dressed now and looking less disheveled. His hair was wet as though he'd done something to make it sit flat. He didn't look particularly happy, though; he was just staring at his palms rather blankly.

Blaine approached Nathan, "Uh...you okay?" he asked.

"I screwed up," he snapped. "I'm lucky you guys aren't furious with me. I'm more lucky Crash isn't tearing me metaphorical limb from limb right now. My plan was low and hideous, its execution botched, its results worse than. At this rate I'll just end up dead."

Anna had tried to take a nap but had failed. So she went to the lunch room, hoping to find someone there. She smiled when she saw Blaine and Nathan and started walking toward them, but stopped: Anna heard everything Nathan said. A small gulp was heard from behind Blaine and Nathan as Anna reached up to hold her throat where Nathan's knife had once been.

((This is my only post for tonight, I'm tired.))

Mike had been at it for what seemed like an eternity. He watched as yet another prism broke apart before him. He felt like he had mastered being able to bring it out at will, but he still couldn't sustain, at least not as long as he needed to. He wasn't even sure how long they were lasting, but he knew that it still wasn't close enough to a hour.

Blaine sighed, he didn't know what to say.

"Feel for weakness in the structure; repair it when it needs repair instead of trying to maintain everything as it is," Anatoly randomly advised Mike. "The ice will generally sustain itself - you just need to pull it back together wherever it's falling apart."

Anatoly, after ten minutes, had a fully-charged Joy Buzzer - and a quarter-charged Skulltap. He couldn't get them to average more than about 4/5 of full charge yet.

Mike realized that he would need nearly surgical precision to do this correctly. He began to realize just how hard being a Blazer would be, and he shuddered to think of doing it in combat.
Anatoly, meanwhile, was struggling. Dual-charging was sort of a trap - Wilde had set him to it, knowing that he would almost certainly fail. Dual- and triple-charging was a trick that only master Blazers could accomplish.

Mike had known this wasn't going to be easy, and he was right. He just didn't realize how hard it would be. He didn't have much trouble just summoning the prism under these circumstances, but he knew that doing so under the stress of combat would be impossible for him and as of right now all he could make was a sphere so it wouldn't be much help anyways. He started again, almost sure that the amount of time he could summon forth the prism had come to a standstill. He couldn't know for a fact because he didn't have enough extra focus to pay attention to time, but something just told him that he wasn't increasing his time anymore really. He wasn't certain if it was a mental barrier that he had to try and surpass or if he was simply suffering from fatigue from constantly calling out this prism and maintaining it for as long as he could. He hoped that soon he would make it to an hour, but he doubted that he could right now.

((I'm going to be pretty busy tonight and tomorrow so I don't know how much I'll be able to post. I just wanted to make sure to let you guys know that.))

Nathan shook his head. "I need to trust your guy's judgment more, I need to stop trying to be something special. Sorry."

((I have some plans the next couple of days and such, but nothing too major so I shouldn't be too busy. Also why has no one really posted lately? I mean I posted a few days ago saying I would be pretty busy, but nobody's posted even though most of you have been on and off the last couple of days.))
