Io nodded, putting her weapons back into place and looking at them. "The only question is do we go now, or do we go later? We can get others if you think we need their help."
Once again she let them decide. She had her memories but they didn't make much difference. She had her power, but her revenge... looked as though it would never happen. What was left? All she could do was try to guide them to their own pasts.
Whether those pasts made a difference or not.

*Im not sure if they are needed, but perhaps they should have the right to decide for themselves. Do you think the three of us would be enough to battle the Rade and drive them out? Would all of us together have that power?* her tone was slightly perplexed.

He awoke suddenly and twitched violently. The salve on his arm was still there, he must have only been out an hour or so judging by the light of day. He pushed himself up. He swooned and clutched a tree. He had lost a lot of blood. He reached down and grasped his blade and used it as a crutch and began hobbling in some unknown direction. He stumbled through the bushes. He walked for what seemed like hours stumbling many times. Then he could have sworn he heard something, or felt something. Some one was near. Looking up he saw a figure walking through the woods. It looked like a human. But no.. His vision was clouded. He couldn?t be sure. He had a mask on? Yes he did. It was an orange, with green stalks or some such thing coming out to the top by the sides of his head. His hair was blond a he couldn?t make out much else. He stood there leaning on his blade not currently able to find the strength to take another step.

'How many rade are there? I have to admit... I'm a bit frightened but, it would be easier for a smaller group to get inside unnoticed, wouldn't it?'
Nika took a deep breath and slowly let it out, 'I wouldn't mind going now.'

"We can go past them, enter from the rear. They only have a small part of the ruins, actually." Io said calmly. "As for how many there are... One is the size of a house. Twenty are more then we can handle. IF we were planning on fighting them."
She looked directly at Shiva. "I won't lie. I want to kill them all. But as we are, even with me at full strength, charging in blindly is going to get us all killed. Even with all the masques left working with us we'd still have casualties. So what do you want, really? To fight the Rade or to hopefully gain some of your memories?"

*I want them dead.* she answered. *all of them.* she sighed *But not at the cost of ourselves. We will have to take what we can then, and slip in as thieves.*

'I want my memories,' he answered the question honestly. It was exciting and frightening at the same time, supposing that the memories he longed for were all hidden inside the ruins.

"I do not promise that all memories will be found." Io said, sounding strangely formal. "I can't say that you'll walk into the building and say 'Oh! I remember that! And that!' But I'll--" She started to say Take you, but stopped. "I'll go with you. But now is their hunting time."
She turned, looking pointedly at the sun. "We should go in the morning. When they're asleep. Besides, I need to... I need to tell Ice." She shoved her hair out of her face, looking at him for a second, then looking at their joined hands. "I'm happy for you." She said plainly before turning and heading for the camp.
She had gotten them worked up. She knew it even better then they might. But they needed to sleep on this decision. It was too quick just to race off to their deaths.
((And 11:30 here while watching cooking shows... I think my brain is slowly rotting. You guys can go in if you want, I'll bb tomorrow^^))

'That's not what I was expecting...' he shrugged. Walking in there and suddenly remembering everything would be too overwhleming. The little things, he was sure, would be what helped remember. If there were any left.
His cheeks flushed and he squeezed Shi's hand, nodding as Io left.

*She did not seem at all suprised by our answers.* Shiva said, suddenly cautious for a reason she could not explain. *And her answers about Sei are troubling. How could she be unconcerned? Alive and happy? What does she mean?*
She needed time to think, to ruminate over this. It was all well and good to make decisions on your feet...but only as you had to.
Turning slightly blush at Io's remark, she looked at Nika. *What do you think? Should we ask the others? Or just us?*

Kataio F Zahar's eyes were dark with tears. 'Do you know how many masks have been broken? D-do you k-know how many of us ha-have died because of me?' Her voice was strained as she backed into the tree Zahar had previously been leaning on. Kasai wasn't sure what to think, Zahar had trapped everyone in the masks - should she be punished? Kasai knew he wasn't qualified to make this sort of decision, maybe Cin could or... Then he made up his mind, well he kinda made up his mind. Zahar, how about this, lets sit down on this log over here. Kasai motioned to what he assumed was a fairly clean log, and you tell me about what happened, you told me the basics, but I don't remember anything. Kasai didn't go to sit down right away he waited for Zahar to, because if she started to make a run for it he was going to try and grab her to stop her from running.((Santa Kitty, you should come up by Kasai and Zahar. Kasai would love a distraction. xd ))

Nika shrugged, 'Sei is probably fine. He grew up on his own... Besides, I think Io knows where he is. If he was in trouble she would be worried.'
'It would probably be safer, for us, if we didn't go alone. Perhaps, we should ask some of the gaurdians.'
Slowly, he sat on the ground and sprawled his legs out in front of him. He probably should have snagged some sleep before deciding to run off to the ruins alone.
What had he been thinking?

*What had you been thinking?* Shi echoed his thoughts perfectly, although in a kinder voice. *You were coming back from the direction of the ruins, which means you were heading that way initially. Alone? Why?* her voice was taught at the thought of him going there alone.

'I...' he paused and ran a hand through his hair, 'I'm not sure what I was thinking. I'm sorry, Shi. I wasn't thinking clearly.'
There was something missing. There was a big hole in his memories and he wanted to remember so badly.
But that was no reason to put himself in danger. No reason at all.
