Ali'anna's eyes dilated a bit, and she looked depraved, despairing. "I can't...can't kill her?" She looked down at the writhing woman. The poison was working slowly and would kill her eventually. She still felt like the death had been stolen from her.
But no, she didn't have to do it. If she did, she would fall again. With visible difficulty she stepped away from Alinn and picked up her SO-19. "Thank you, Cale..."

"No problem...Thats what...we do to traitors." Cale gasped. "Marooning...them...Wish we had...an asteroid... to ditch her on. b***h...stole one of..my escape pods." With his one good arm the otlaw reached for his flask and took a pull to dull the pain.

Ali'anna became alert to pressing matters once more, so she placed a bottle of beer within his good arm's reached and started bandaging his newly injured arm. "You've had quite a day..."

"oh hell...You should have been there...when I was on Besbin..." he muttered. "Kicked out of casinoes...shot in the back by a changeling...broke out of jail....fought a tin can sith man...now that was a day." he glanced at the chronometer on his left hand. "wow. two hours to go."

She shook her head. "I won't bore you with the details of my worst days..." she finished the bandage, which was clumsy, but would hold out for a while. "I don't have much medical experience, but I'm guessing those two hours will be a good opportunity for you to rest. Assuming we're not disturbed again..." she ran her eyes back and forth as she finished.

"ok...wake me up when the ship shows up...Ima gonna pass out from the pain now." with that the outlaw slumped forward, unconcious.

Ali'anna smiled at the outlaw and stood, stretching her legs. She looked up and noted that the sky was still getting darker. The lone battledroid stood erect and motionless, staring ahead. She approached it. "Do a full sensor sweep of the immediate area and run a tight patrol. Sweep at 5 minute intervals."
"Yes, sir."
She smiled after the droid as it stomped off, whirring with each motion. She took out her dart launcher now and cleaned it. It was tiny and precisely intertwined, so it required regular maintainance. She got out a small set of tools she kept on her person and went about accurizing and aligning the bracelet again.
It helped calm her mind, but she finished quickly. She went onto her blaster and realigned the barrel. Then with nothing to do, she sat close to Cale, leaned against a slab of durocrete, and watched as their battle droid made his rounds. The fatigue of the preceding day settled on her, and she finally feel half asleep, leaning over until she was splayed across Cale's lap, dozing quietly.

(( I like that you used the " I can use this." Nice touch. ))
Some place just in side the system Drako sat back in his chair and activated the ships lock system. This would provide cover for the transmition.
" Our line is secure. Now.....Buyer? Hrmm....how about this....You tell me what i am buying. " Activating a cloaked transmition, he sent for Novara.

((What kind of an army does Drako have, anyway? Nothing much, beyond a couple hundred -thousand?- Mandalorians? And he doesn't have much in the way of territory, right?))
He has a very dangerous reputation. But, I think this will work. He needs an army; his Mandalorians are few in number, and he has very little in the way of holdings. If he does not expand soon, he is in danger of being swept aside. He knows this, too; he will see my value.
"Well...I believe you have need of an army? I manufacture droids, ships, guns; I can make you an army." he said.
"You might ask yourself, why would I ally with you, instead of a larger force? Well...as I said, I need a buyer, and the Repulic, they are losing. As for Imperious, I have...issues with him, and his backers. And with my aid, we stand a good chance to conquer the Galaxy."
"Beyond mere credits..." he said, with a dismissive wave of his hand "...there are other things that I would ask of you. First and foremost, I would ask of you..."
He glanced around and leaned forward. "...Apprenticeship."
((I hope I got everything right in that post. If not, let me know.))

After time had passed, Corporal Katie came back and declared to his two organic comrades," Transport ship inbound. I recomend you wake up now sirs." Cale's eyes snapped open and he coughed. he then cast an eye down at the twilek girl laying in his lap and an amused grin worked its way across his face. "well now, whats all this then?"

Ali'anna's slitted eyes shot open, and she sat erect abruptly. "Sorry, I uh...I must have fallen asleep." She quickly changed the subject, which felt awkward for her. "What do we do when the ship lands?"

Cale pushed himself up to a standing position and motioned to the rubble pile Alinn had emerged from. "we hide there and let the recovery bots load my starfighter up. Meantime, Katie here walks aboard unnoticed and then stuns the pilots. when he gives us the signal we climb aboard. The Recovery drones won't bother us as long as we don't pester them. then once the fighter is loaded up, we just breeze on by the Fed fleet and rendevous with my transport." He looked to her with that ever confident smirk of his. "any questions?"

She stood up and nodded. "Won't they wonder why their salvage ship is leaving the system?"

"Odds are that it wont raise too much interest." Cale said "now c'mon. here it comes. Remember the plan Katie." Cale told the droid as he hustled as best he could behind cover.

Ali'anna slithered behind some rocks and pressed her body against the ground, becoming nearly invisible to any eyes that looked from the viewpoint of the ship.
