Mastema closed his eyes, tilted his head down, and chuckled slightly, before looking back up to Nana. "I hope you won't hold it against me for getting something so extravagent. I assure you I was selective about it." By that, Mastema simply meant it could have been much more extreme than what was before Nana right now.

Mugiri's eyes flicked open. He moaned lowly, as his stiff body unfolded from its sleeping position in the sepulcher that Mugiri called home. He sat up, his arms spreading with some effort. He looked around the dimly lit cave, once a grave, and smiled. The must of his home had become accustomed to his nostrils. Mugiri stood and stretched, his wings also moving with purpose. He seemed stained now, black streaks of flesh staining much of his appearance, his face the most apparent place affected. His pale complexion was cut in half, his left eye normal, but the right socket was filled with a blue jewel, hidden by black lids and an eye patch. His clothes were dusty, torn, and well-used. The smell of the morning attracted Mugiri from the grave out to the bright morning. He tilted his head, stretching his neck, and sat down for his morning meditation. The view of his master's citadel only helped his troubled heart. The opening of his crypt was one in dozens in a small cemetary on the edge of the Citadel, safely within it's dome, closely sided by industrial-sized buildings.

Mugiri's unstable energy level was now controlled to a point- mainly because of this habit of meditation. He could probably be easily sensed, as his energy was checked and balanced internally. Around him, a breeze stirred slightly, a cause of his meditation. The small haven of cemetery was truly a gem in the tall hell of the Citadel. One of few Mugiri had discovered at least.

I... don't know what to say... just-- Thank you.

*Considering this was Nana, that was about as extreme it should get. A simple 'thank you' was all Nana could think to say. She had never had lingerie before, but given that the two were married, it seemed an appropriate gift... and, it was nice. Not something she would wear every night of course, but ever so often; special occassions. The gift was accepted warmly*

Mastema was glad that Nana was able to accept his gift graciously. Perhaps part of the reason he picked it out was to see this kind of bashful reaction. Walking up to his wife again, he hugged her lightly from the front and shut his eyes. "Well, I believe I know what I want to say. Happy anniversary, dear."

Happy Anniversary... heart

*It was the start of a wonderful day, a wonderful noon and a wonderful evening. Everything was peaceful, nothing to ruin the moment. Nana would huff lightly and smile. Her wings would flex a little, there was a cobweb at the bottom of one of her feathers, that streched over part of her wing. How it managed to stay in tact was anyones guess*

Thank you for this.... thank you for everything.

The next time Mastema's eyes opened, he would take note of the small cobweb on Nana's wings, raising a brow. There were very few spiders or any other animal of the sort in the tower, much less in the main bedroom. Mastema had a feeling she probably picked it up somewhere else. With a simple glide of his hand, the cobweb was destroyed, and Nana would likely only take it as a stroke on her wing. "And I hope to give you much more than anything a physical gift can offer." The statement would conclude with Mastema planting an affectionate kiss on Nana's neck.

Hnn...

*Nana's arms were still folded in front of her with the lingerie in hand. Her cheeks were still blushed and there was a radiance about her at that. The light blue glow of her Aura would surround the pair, she was at peace and more than happy to show it. Finally freeing up her arms, Nana would wrap them around Mastema's back linking them up once she could feel the lingerie again. Nana's rhythem of breath was calm, and her heartbeat steady and strong*

Mugiri awakened from his meditative state, and began to prowl the streets of the Citadel. Many of the shops within had been stocked before they had been deserted, so food was readily available for Mugiri. He was unsatisfied with his status as a rat in Mastema's kingdom to say the least, but it seemed he repaid loyalty to his subjects, so Mugiri not once complained to his master. Besides, he had many subjects to study. All of the wariors he saw enter and leave the Citadel seemed interesting, but most of all Mastema's children intrigued him. He would sometimes wait along known routes of theirs and study them from the shadows. Today, though, he had no such intention. He had, however, wandered into a route of theirs unintentionally.

*After Thanatos and Sho had finished trainning, the shadow creature had followed Sho for a bit, but the man was too fast for it to keep up with, so it eventually moved into the sewer system again. Having been a while since then, it was hiding in a dark alley presently. The alley was a nice place to simply, be. Its form hidden in the walls, it could very well go unnoticed unless someone wandered down the alley and noticed how much warmer it was than in other places, and even then if they didn't know the creature was there, it was at the very least something odd with the alley. A low sound would break silence, though perhaps not enough to alert anyone*

Mugiri, now full with dried goods, wandered in a sector far-off from his home. There were many alleys in this district. It seemed in reasonably good condition. He was surrounded by silence, feeling a slight rise in temperature as he passed an alleyway. He paused, and looked into the shadowy depths. He felt an obscured energy, and traveled down the alley. He proceeded carefully, his right hand on his katana.

*Luckily for Mugiri the shadow creature tended to be peaceful, even after all of the attacks Tyrsais had made on it. Mugiri would be watched as he wandered down the alley, though from where Mugiri might have a hard time telling. Things seemed quiet, not a soul in sight, it was almost like being sensory deprived. There was a light snow falling and blowing about the Citadel*

Mugiri looked over his shoulder, seeing the snow begin to fall. He turned back, and hunkered down in the small alley, deciding not to move until he knew what this thing was he felt. After a few moments, he felt the chill of the weather, and snapped his fingers, a spark igniting a piece of cloth he held in his other hand, illuminating the alley. Mugiri looked around, only seeing shadows. He questioned what he felt now, cocking an eyebrow.

(( sweatdrop Its not yet visible, all it is for the moment is a shadow on a wall. ))

*When more light was cast into the alley Mugiri would see something from the corner of his eye move. The dark shadows of the alley were moving away as if they were alive. A slight staticy look would appear in the shadows, like an old TV set on the wrong channel only instead of black and white it was black and a very dark tone of blue. There was a little more substance as the shadows bowed out from the wall slightly trying to escape the light*

From being nearly completely disabed, Nana's heartbeat had returned to normal, but not after some good hard work. When her aura blanketed the two, Mastema quietly accepted the affectionate gesture, as it were. His own aura started to creep out, weaving into hers. After a few moments of letting himself be hugged, Mastema turned and slowly sat down on the edge of the bed. It was up to Nana if she did the same.

Mugiri examined the shadowy... thing. He cantered forwards slowly. After a few moments he noticed the light bothered him. He scowled, and held the flame as far away from the shadow as he could. "It's alright... shadow? i won't hurt you." He spoke slowly, unsure what it was, or if it even lived. Maybe it was a creation of his masters? He lay his hand down on the floor, palm up, to try and approach the shadow.
