Ertai Vexic Psionic = manipulation with the mind, thought or w/e you wish to speak of it as. Magic is being casted by the creation of blah blah blah while using blah blah blah energies. But it is manipulated by psionic thoughts. You cast a fire ball, it goes forward. You shift the direction of the fireball it is psionic influence because you manipulate it with your mind, you dont manipulate it with your hands or eyes. Not in my mechanics! Psionics is directly performing techniques with mental fortitude and sheer power of the mind. Magic is using other procedures which put at least one step between the mind and the exertion of power - for example, making a series of gestures or saying some magic words to help you manipulate the energy, though for high-level and non-limited magic these extra steps are usually transparent. The advantages magic has over psionics include ease of use, control, and versatility.

Gelmax is dead next post, ******** trying to be fair and on his level. I am just going to pull out some of the guns and take his a** down, while not even being on the arena which we fight in.

Thats just how you do things!
Your aware of that right?
In a fantasy enviroment, justifying what your doing as being a possible outcome to a theory is not necessary, helpful and necessary if your a**l about your characters, but is it mandatory that everyone do this? No. Should it be? No.
Which once again brings me back to my central argument, that you believe people should have to use the same mechanics system as you. You simply brush off anything else, such as, if I had a character (formerly Ianex) who could draw on an element to make a weapon to the purest form of an element (ala, a perfect sword of flames), if I saw it as a way to exploit your weakness (obviously just an example), you would likely brush it off.
Of course your going to say no now, but at some point in RP, you have to just be like "Thats cool that he thought of that/pioneered that ability, and although I don't have a full understanding of it, I will let him utilize his creativity to have fun"
Mind you I am not saying let someone who just says something like "Gwar I makez teh swordz from teh fire-iest fires of the hawtest of teh hawt places and I make it burnz j00!" keep RPing, by all means do whatever is necessary to end that characters life and teach them how to not suck.
But someone who does a good job of explaining their opinions of how their magic works, let them do what they do best and create! Now, Gel isn't necessarily the best example, because I know for a fact, he likely does 90% of what he does when fighting you to piss you off and make you throw a b***h fit (like your last fight).
All I am saying is make sure you give people the proper chance to use their creativity, not just your cold hard theories (tee hee...the statement cold hard theories makes me laugh...)

Ertai Vexic Ahhh but you fail to understand that I never once said what I said was fact, I said theory, a logical theory expressed by documents and scientific research, yet to be proven. These theories fall under the manipulation of electrons, time, light, planes of existence which fall under an entirely new set of thoughts. Psionic's in general are a theory, but where does magic fall under? Nothing but fantasy, Psionics and the other things I use have had theories wrote about them, blah blah blah. Theories don't mean jack s**t, Ertai. And, no, psionics are not a theory, planar physics are a theory. The things you do with psionics may be a "theory", but the psionics themselves are even less valid than my magic since you don't have any reasoning behind them. Ertai Vexic I am just saying that I work at a much higher caliber of power and speed. That is why I say psionic powers are stronger than magic. That's some DBZ zen s**t right there. Ertai Vexic

I do give people a chance, just dont fight me on no limit terms. I dont lose death matchs, where its all or nothing. As you can tell. I will be glad to have a mages contest with someone, or a melee sword fight. Thats where people get me all wrong, I can fight on more than just psionics. I just go for the quick kill with psionics, as I am about to do with Gelmax, but I will use above psionics and walk right over his b***h a**.
So yeah gelmax you best shut your a** up and watch as I just make you look even more like garbage than you already are.
Magic cannot stand to anything psionic or above. No way.
And posting your own mechanics wont work because you cannot stop a truck with a sheet of paper, maybe with your bull s**t excuse for mechanics. But when it comes down to tooth and nail, I win you lose.

No human is garbage, regardless of what you think. There is a difference between making a little fun, and being an inconsiderate a*****e of a human. You seem to cross that line daily with Gel, and I don't appriciate it. So either you shut your mouth, or let a big guys d**k shut it for you.
And back to the actual argument...
Once again...your doing what I am making claims against...saying magic cannot stand to psionics or above. Maybe in your mechanics, but it is fairly simple to explain how magic could overtake the minds power. Oh wait...you have an infinite number of minds with which to perform tasks, I forgot that. Hmmm, that does pose a problem.
I guess what you are saying is correct. Magics can't stand to a god-moder with no respect for other rp-ers psionics.
