Meanwhile....in downtown Midvale...
Coughing, Hartley pulled himself out from under the rubble of what used to be The Dakota.
What's that, you say? Last time we peeked in, it was perfectly intact, you say? Well, here's a quick recap:

"Dazzler, stop! Your lasers will only reflect off of the adamantium sequins on Cocoa's outfit-and also, I know this because I am Wallace who is saying this-"

Fortunately, Teddy was able to shape-shift into something large (and thankfully sans breasts) to protect all the good guys. Meanwhile, the bad guys were reduced to $17.56 in Canadian funds.

Cassie flew around the cabin looking for Chris unable to find him she went outside and saw the stranger.. with claws.. totally attacking Chris. He was right. Cassie grabbed her lasso and lassoed Slashface.
" Hey! Hands off the boyfriend!"

*YES! She had noticed and now Mr. Slashface would- GAH!
Instead of fighting the pull of the lasso, "Slashface" held on to Chris and spun him towards Cassie. He kept spinning until both he and Chris had the lasso wrapped around him.*
Drop the lasso, kid, or your alien boyfriend will have to heal his throat. You don't know what's going on around here. Trouble is at Hero High. Alien trouble.

After her cold shower Karen had some time to post her latest in short stories. She called them romance adventures, but understood some people's aversion to them. It all started with a time displace warrior on a new planet... and grew from there. It wasn't like any of the characters were based on anyone she new... not Wallie, or Krissie, Daniella, certainly not Christof... Oh no. This was the product of pure fiction. It had to be done.
Back at her computer she finished up the last bit, it was so hot she almost melted her computer...
again....

Dani's phone buzzed, vibrated and sounded off repeatedly. But this wasn't for her alarm, she liked to sleep in. oh no this was for something different. Her favorite app was updated.
Smiling lightly she squinted and turned over to look at the updated story careful not to wake up Jen.
She couldn't help but laugh at some of the parts, not only was this person really emotinal but they were so funny!
Dani laughs lightly, as she continued to read.

Cassie looks at Slashface.
" He's not an alien. He's a human inside of alien armor."
Cassie smirked she hung to her lasso sending a small electric shock towards Logan and Chris. She knew Chris's armor would protect him.
" You kill him I'll electrify you over and over again. You may have an impressive healing factor but that means I get to have more fun..."
Cassie laughed.
"You talk of Hero High. If you know anything at all about the people at that school you should know that amazons don't surrender. You should also know coach Rogers wouldn't take kindly to you messing with one of his players."
Cassie that sparkly look in her eyes. The same one Achilles gets before a big battle.. they were indeed siblings. The look said it all... 'Please don't surrender and let me kick your butt over and over and over again... It'll be fun! Promise!'

Wally was tensed. If anyone started to move, he was prepared to disarm them in a millisecond.
"If there's trouble at Hero High, sir, killing one of our best student heroes isn't gonna help fix it, okay?"

"No." Wally sulked a little bit. He'd kept from separating Logan and Chris because it was pounded into his head to evaluate a situation before making it worse, and now he'd been chided by Logan for doing that. Stupid, hairy old slash-fiction writer.
Everyone walked into the cabin and watched as Logan hit a hidden panel on the wall and pulled out a six pack of beer no one else knew was there.
Like....he had put it there in the first place...
"You're Old Man Logan!"

Now, I came back this time because I got jumped by a Skrull hit squad up on the Canadian border.
