Psionics are controlled by the mind, in my opinion magick is controlled by the heart and soul of the caster, by their will to do whatever it is they are trying to do. One is logic, the other is reflex.
How can the heart control anything? It has no connection to anything. You my dim witted friend is speaking of the heart in an emotional aspect, which an emotion is a creation of the mind so hence the "heart" is of the mind so it would be psionic. Spirit/Soul is a whole new field and is not related to magic per-say. Read my journal.

Mechanics = smooth fights with out arguements. If you notice when I fight with someone who uses mechanics, no OOC arises. I know what he is doing to the fullest ability and he knows what I am doing as well.
Psionic = manipulation with the mind, thought or w/e you wish to speak of it as. Magic is being casted by the creation of blah blah blah while using blah blah blah energies. But it is manipulated by psionic thoughts. You cast a fire ball, it goes forward. You shift the direction of the fireball it is psionic influence because you manipulate it with your mind, you dont manipulate it with your hands or eyes.
Give me a better logic, please be my guest.
Not everything in a fantasy enviroment is going to be driven by the same things, and though this would make judgements and such easier, it would remove a large aspect of the fun.
Another part of my argument lies in you trying to justify things that simply are not justifiable. There are no hard honest to goodness proven concepts of the makeup of the universe, and there is definately no hard evidence for any form of psionics/magic/whathaveyou.
If you would simply concede that what you are operating under is your OPINION of how things should function and allow other peoples OPINIONS to function on an equal level with yours, I am sure you would be one of the most fun people to RP with, but as it stands now, it is easy to understand why so many people seem to pray for the day you choke on your keyboard.

I have. It's an interesting piece...but not one I that I completely agree with. Yes, I speak of the "heart" and "will" as emotions, but from the perspective that we as human being have a soul, seperate from that little grey blob in our head.
You're 100% entitled to RP with your particular style and beliefs...Hell, slap me if I ever try to FORCE someone to use Xion and my Ten elemental essence system. However...Piss off if you expect me, or anyone else here, to follow your system when they're in a match with you.

Seriously though...before another argument arises, everyone watch those videos! Good stuff there...I listed them in the order that I made them, and hopefully you can see my editing skill increasing in each video...but not necessarily.
I want opinions...because people on Youtube are...for lack of a better word, likely retarded to the point they look up to Terri Schaivo as their superiors...Especially the ones that compliment them...

Ahhh but you fail to understand that I never once said what I said was fact, I said theory, a logical theory expressed by documents and scientific research, yet to be proven. These theories fall under the manipulation of electrons, time, light, planes of existence which fall under an entirely new set of thoughts. Psionic's in general are a theory, but where does magic fall under? Nothing but fantasy, Psionics and the other things I use have had theories wrote about them, blah blah blah.
I do use a lot of fantasy in my fights, I am just saying that I work at a much higher caliber of power and speed. That is why I say psionic powers are stronger than magic. If magic can work at that speed, which I can make it, it would be as powerful. I just tend to manipulate the very essence of everything, thus atomic particles, electrons, light, etc etc. I can also get into Dark Matter, Zero-Point, Aether, and thoes theory like abilities, but I tend not to. I keep it on a stream line logical base. I never say everything I do is to the book fact, that is where people get me mixed up. I just say my abilities are explained well enough that they look fact, hold a lot more water than magics and make a lot more sense.
I went through the other end of the psionic/planar s**t when it was used on me. I have always been a fighter and a learner so I learn any ability I come across and look for ways of perfection.
I am currently working on my
Folie a Deux, which is maddness shared by two.
I have created the life/death complex.
I use tetragammatons [Not the movie fighters Tetragrammaton clerics.]
My abilities are just way more believeable than magic.
