Ok yeah, I guess this conversation was pretty much over. I'd still regret if I didn't at least TRY to get my two cents out there, so I've whited out the full text of my post.

I had some stuff to say, but I guess what you guys arrived at is a pretty good compromise so it's not necessary.

All I would add is maybe some kind of provision could be added when it comes to the requirement of a canon? I mean, that could turn some folks off maybe. Personally I rped for at least a year with my OC before I actually took on even a second character (who was also an OC), and it was only after this that I took on Freeze. I'm not the BEST by any means, nor have I contributed as much in my time as... well, as even some of the others had in the same span of time, but I think I've contributed a little.

All I'm saying is maybe if an OC is good enough they can be a persons sole character? Maybe all it would take is that for someone to get into the swing of things and take on a canon role.

I would also probably encourage more equality for new folks, but I can see where a probationary period would be necessary. I just would like new people to feel comfortable here and not like they're being looked down on, judged, or accused. It's not crew or mods that make rps successful, it's the players. The best way to get people to join is to make people want to join.

Like I said, I haven't done the most for these rps, but I do care a lot and I appreciate you considering what I say.

I think Eric placed the current day toward the beginning of the month of October and the main action is to take place on Halloween night, so hopefully after the current days' events we'll be jumping right into the main enchilada. Don't get me wrong, it's an interesting story and I love the Birds of Prey, but the plot doesn't lend itself to interractions of large groups like we tend to have.

So anyway, once we jump forward to Halloween I bet that would be a perfect time for Har to break out and stir up some havoc.

Once Batman is killed and Barbara finishes her meeting with the Birds, we'll skip ahead one week.

We can do something like that the day after Halloween when Barbara and the others are saved from the Jigsaw Killer.
