Yups...
I remember watching half of the episode where there's a couple of punks with water demons / spirits / some dumb thing, and they just attack by wrapping and choking their opponents...
A not entirely retarded idea, but the dialogue that went with the characters was just god awful.

Everytime I see that there has been a crime, it was commited by an african american. They are only making the rest of their race look bad. It is disappointing.

About the honor question..I only heard you say that you though that the scientist from Bleach was 'Cool'. I don't see why. He is arrogant, sadistic, nasty. I don't know how they ever let him become part of the Thirteen.

I don't know how he acts, or what he does.
I just like his design.
Aside that; having honor and being cool are two totally different things.
It'd be like saying that Ryu from Street Fighter was cool.
He's a good guy. The main character at that.
There's a major difference between being cookie-cutter classic, and being original.

Ah, yes, because the elitist, ruthless and arrogant [among other things] Byakuya is any more qualified. Oh, and the blood knight mass murderer that is Kenpatchi. Let's keep going on about how many others are totally unqualified to be leaders.
Mayuri Kurotsuchi is a genius. A twisted, mad genius. Blame Urahara for him getting out, the Soul Society had already locked him up before he got a chance to e a soul reaper. He's also comical.
And on that note, let's wonder what lead the oppresive government to choose him as a captain? Because their decisions have been totally honorable and merciful.
