Seph yawned stretching her wings out giving them a light exercise while she waited for Hebal "If you get good at it then you could charge a fair bit of gil for those enchantments you know. But I think Hebal is always looking for the opportunity to improve and tinker about with her armour. It's hard to believe she does that for a job, I would have thought she would be more suitable as a baker or the owner of a toyship" she grinned watching Hebal less than a minute later zooming back out the doors spear and bag in hand.
"Told ya I would be no time at all!" Hebal cheered picking Zadina back up "Yay for small accomodation places and hope you guys had a fun chat while you were away" she sung skipping arond Seph waiting for her to get ready to fly.
Alpha grinned thinking to himself to hide one or two of his favourite foods before letting Barbaros help himself to the contents of the fridge and cupboards "Different demons have different diet needs and young fire demons need as much dry, hot and spicy foods to grow big and tough and school meals... well they were all just soggy junk meals in tiat time" he shuddered.

Felina snickered "Makes sense kinda. The amount of noble elves who boss people around due to high feelings of self importance I wouldn't be surprised if 'well bred' chocobos had a similar attitude" she told Jenna slowly lowering the bubble towards deck level. "I'm sure we can fly overnight in the flight so long as we're sorted onto one and are able to settle down safely.
Satoshi smiled and nodded "Yeah I'm almost fluent at Agralian despite it being a third language but my dad on the other hand can't speak a word of it so I've already prepared to play traslator just for you" she winked at him syopping briefly at the check out desk. "In a way it's kind of a shame since I think you and him would have got along. He likes going hunting with his dog for food and camping"

Oassu nodded "I guess so plus they'll have been pampered and treasured from birth probably, makes me feel sorry for any other chocobos growing up with a golden one" he said "Whereabouts is it we'll be landing anyway since we won't be landing in Yithra straight away" he said.
Gil chuckled "Well that's fine then though it is a bit of a shame, you could always try to teach me sometime then we could relax sometime without the need for a translator, though I reckon Enkidu could probably outhunt any garden variety canine" he said happily.
Itaka nodded "You could certainly make a living off that after the pilgrimage and everything I'm certain I hear the greatest enchanters manage to open like chains of shops and stuff though I hear that mass produced stuff becomes subpar" he said.
Zadina giggled "I'm sure Miss Hebal would make a lovely toy shop owner though I don't know if she can make toys, maybe if she had a cute little moogle assistant she could" he said stroking Hebal's ears happy to be on her shoulders again.
Barbaros nodded "Well I dunno my school had like curries and chillis that were pretty hot from time to time though I imagine a fire demon needs something a little more special than that won't they?" he chuckled "Could've always asked for a special diet or given him a packed lunch" he said.

Hebal's ear stood up for a split second not having expected the stroking then flopped back down almost as fast "Huh me working at making toys? That would be an awesome career to have but the pay isn't that good and in the school I got pushed into toys were banned" she shrugged hopping forward seeing that Seph had taken the hint to start flying away.
Seph groaned tightening her grip around Itaka "Your upbringing was really bad for that. I used to love taking my dolls to school when I was little. Makes you wonder though as to what could have happened to you if you had a slightly different upbringing" she smiled speeding around a hovering gria. "I think it's best to open one or two shops in easily access places like a capital city and develop a mega reputation for your good quality work. Then you can have loads of people coming from miles around by airship to buy your stuff"
Alpha sighed playing with a spark or two in his hand "Schools are way better than they were a couple of hundred years ago, including their meal quality. But I was working so much just to pay their tuition fees and the other bills that it was a struggle just to spend time with them let alone making extra special packed lunches. Was all worth it in the end though I wish Mu would consider getting a less dangerous job sometimes"

Felina nodded "Yep sounds more and more like the nobility the more we talk about it though the gold ones will most likely live a sheltered life which is no fun" she commented shifting the bubble over the deck or the airship for descent "We'll be landing in a town about half a days walk from Yithra forest called Ayoobu though there are carriages you can hire for a reasonably price which will get you to the forest within a couple of hours max"
Satoshi frowned looking around for her key as they approached the checkout desk "Don't be so quick to dismiss the quality of our dogs. They've been trained and bred for hundreds of years specially for combat and hunting. Though it would be hard to learn my language since we have a completely different writing system to you"

Oassu smiled "On the brightside Chobi definitely isn't living a sheltered lifestyle at least and I'm sure some people use them, after all the gift of flight is unheard of to us humans and elves so riding a golden chocobo probably feels like nothing else" he said
Jenna smirked "I'm sure, never thought of it that way remind me to try and pinch a ride on one of them next time I see some nobleman turn his back on one" she said preparing to land "Good to be on the ground, don't you get lazy travelling around in these all the time Oassu or I'll be able to catch up to you and pinch your big nobleman's wallet" she chuckled
Gil smirked "True but Enkidu's relatives were born to hunt and kill since the dawn of fiends" he snickered petting Enkidu "Sure he's friendly now but you've seen what he's like in battle though I wasn't asking you to teach me your writing, just saying it could be a nice possibility sometime" he said shrugging.
Zadina sighed "I'm sure you could make a successful toy shop if you wanted Miss Hebal though I didn't really get much toys in my home when I was younger though used to play with toys at the palace so it was still quite fun" he said.
Itaka chuckled "I used to have loads of comics as a kid, had some action figures too but Seph I think Hebal is a distinct example of nature triumphing over nurture, despite all the neglect she got she turned out awesome and fun despite a lack of toys ain't that right Hebal?" he asked brightly.
Barbaros shrugged "Well I wouldn't know, glad they are ok now but must suck for you demons having to pay for much longer education than human kids, though elves have it the worst considering their kids are in school for like hundreds of years" he chuckled "Though I think they have a pretty unique education system" he said.

Hebal shrugged bouncing down to the level below "I dunno, I'm just myself and never tend to think about how I got to be this way. Still good to know I'm awesome and you'll find when you two have kids of your own that it's a great excuse to get out all your old stuff like comics and action figures and dolls. I bet you would have made a cute little demon lady" she laughed.
Seph hesitated trying not to picture herself playing with dolls again "Well not really, I just looked like a regular human until I was a teenager. But theres no plan to have kids just yet fortunately since I have pleanty to do before settling down. As for nature I know all about that, would have a much larger wardrobe if the way I was brought up had much of an influence on me" she snickered.
Alpha scratched his chin as he braced himself for the landing "I had to keep changing them around schools so nobody would get too suspicious about them not aging. In the end I just had to tell them they had a rare illness that slowed their aging. But you know living longer means you get more time to study which is probably why I have never come across a stupid elf during my travels. On balence if theres one thing I have noticed it is that humans are very quick to pick up new skills, probably adapted because of lack of time" he added optimistically.

Felina let out a small sigh of relief releasing the group from her bubble half an inch from the ground "Chobi may not be sheltered but I would bet you a good sum of money Seph does a lot of spoiling since she loves that bird so much" she grinned getting up and stretching her legs "I would happily take a chocobo off someones hands of any colour. I've only got horses to ride at the palace since the wild chocobos are rare in Yithra due to the number of preditors"
Satoshi stopped handing her eys over and signed the book which had been handed to her in return "Being older in terms of ancestors doesn't always make you better but we don't need to be competing about things like that, you'll get to see for yourself the pride of the Daisuke family. Thats another thing to warn you about, watchout not to offend any families when there. Some are so up themselves they will attack you on the smallest comment"

Oassu let out a small "oof" as he bumped onto the ground before picking himself up off the ground "I'm sure you could afford any kind of chocobo you wanted though just need to ask your father and can move it into the stables with the horses" he said
Gil chuckled "It's their funeral if they decide to attack me not like I'm a slouch in combat but they won't live long if they let every little thing escalate to a fight but sure I'll try and mind my manners when there though if they have a thing against outsiders then there's not much I can do against that" he said.
Itaka smirked "Well I'm sure there's a bunch of cooler new toys than the ones I had as a kid children are probably into way different things these days I'll bet" he said "Still your both fine as you are don't need to think about what would be different" he said.
Zadina giggled "Well action figures are still around today Mr Itaka though maybe elven toys are a bit behind the times as opposed to say moogle and human toys though cousin Felina had loads and loads of dolls and soft toys if I remember correctly" he said scratching his ear.
Barbaros burst into laughter "Wow I'm amazed they fell for that without investigating it, no illness would do that, I don't even know if it can be called an illness since it's not like a downside, why did you need to say that anyway, it was after the war wasn't it? You were legal in the world right?" he asked stretching on the deck.

Hebal smiled spying the aerodrome a short way into the distence "Now that does not surprise me. I bet Felina had rows upon rows of dolls and stuffed animals some of them being life sized. Thats what I would want as a royal kid for sure and lots and lots of candy and ice cream and maybe a slinky too" she stated trying to picture herself wearing a small crown.
Seph shrugged glancing down and checking Itaka was still ok "You don't need fancy gadgets or the latest craze to have fun playing with toys or reading stuff. For some reason I remmeber everyone wanted to have a yoyo, never bothered learning tricks but went nuts over them" she chuckled.
Alpha nodded with a smirk "People were stupid with medicine when it comes to stuff like that thoigh in fairness there are conditions where people age faster. There was no way I was gonna let my kids grow up as second class citizens and the worlds most hated if I could avoid it. Post war all demons regardless of circumstances were highly discriminated against" he explained before striding forward to get the door.

Felina frowned helping Oassu up onto his feet "Last time I tried that one I got a big lecture off dad going along the lines of you don't use your horses that much so why should I pay so much money getting you rarer more expensive pets. He may not have much of a tempter but he knows how to put his foot down" she recalled with a loud yawn. "I'll just have to wait until we get a place of our own"
Satoshi laughed reaching up and plating a kiss on Gil's cheek unaware of Terrato slithering up his lower arm "You don't need to tell me how good you are at comabt as I've seen pleanty of that the past few days and you are the champion. They have nothing against outsiders for if they did we would have no clients. Just so long as you don't go trying to fish out secrets. Now... would you like me to teleport us somewhere closer to the airship. You could do with a good rest after today" she offered.

Oassu chuckled "Well maybe you should have used the horses a bit more, nothing wrong with riding them as opposed to chocobos, not as cute if you ask me but I'm sure there's those who'll disagree" he said placing an arm around Felina "You might need that nap sooner than you think" he said while Jenna entered the airship.
Gil chuckled "Yeah champion of a non-lethal tournament still lets trust I won't get into trouble but I'm not especially tired, none of the competitors really pushed me but it has been a bit of a busy day, if you are too tired don't bother" he said letting Terrato get comfortable.
Zadina giggled "You're making great progress Miss Hebal just speeding through the town though you might be too fat to jump like this if you ate all the candy and ice cream royalty could offer" he said knowing he'd eaten himself sick before on gifts.
Itaka scratched his heads "I never really got Yoyos but if kids like em whatever Montblanc's toys and gadgets are currently the leading toyshop out there obviously moogles would make the best stuff but I hear Montblanc does secret projects for the government as well" he added with a chuckle "Least that's the rumours going around" he said.
Barbaros smiled "I suppose I'd do the same for my kids, no shame in that though the ageing faster thing is far more believable than some miraculous slow ageing thing, suppose I'd have to say their grandmother was an elf or something" he chuckled

Seph scratched her head gliding downwards "Well then if you heared that in a bar then I would say that rumour is likely to be true. If you heared it in the street then its definitely true, you would be surprised how horribly accurate the rumour spreaders in the middle of the streets are" she laughed stopping briefly to let a family of five gria fly past "Kids will go for just about anything if the shapes and colours are right" she concluded.
Hebal shook her head in disbelief "Nah uh I wouldn't get fat! I do too much exercise and moving around to ever out on weight. No chance of me standing still so I would burn it off in no time" she boasted leaping directly over the family. "When Amane was growing up in the forest I remmber all the kids wanted to play with spinning tops and stuffed fruit and veg things with faces" she giggled.
Alpha grunted hopping inside the airship "People aren't as gullable nowerdays for sure and medicine is getting better but thinking back, that might have been a good alternative idea to try. But your kids are fine, if they ever want something to tinker with I'm sure I have a few airship parts they can have to mess around with" he offered climbing down the stairs "Well guys we're back" he called through.

Felina slowly nodded rubbing her eyes "That or I'll need a good cup of coffee. But apparently horses are the transport for royals because they are rarer and more fancy looking than chocobos meaning we all have to own one" she whispered as she went inside in case people were sleeping.
Hayate glanced up from his paper work and turned his head "Welcome back guys, lucky you for being able to see the fireworks from closer up than these windows" he greeted them pushing the bits and pieces he didn't want them to see to the bottom of the pile. "Jeckhart is still sleeping but me and that Satoshi clone managed to sort out some tickets" he added to Felina seeing her enter.
Saotshi shrugged "It's still impressive regardless of whether or not the tournament is leathal. But I wouldn't say that to the guys at the airship who had to try a lot harder in the competiton" she grinned scanning the area. "We'll walk a little way more then I'll teleport us to the airship. We have another couple of hours before our airship leaves. Got one of my clones to sort that out for us and I must say its nowhere near full fortunately"

Oassu shrugged "Horses aren't so rare, must just be in Yithra though maybe you should try riding one you might like it in Mineerin their nobles always ride horses and stuff, they have the biggest horse population of the world I guess, give them to their knights and stuff too" he said waving to Hayate "So what kinda tickets did you sort out?" he asked.
Gil smiled "Yeah you all did really well in the tournament I'm not saying that was bad but alright I'll keep it quiet still good thinking on getting a clone to sort out an airship" he said scratching his chin while placing on his helmet to save himself carrying it "Though must be a quiet region if it's far from full at the end of a tournament, where is the region we're going to anyway? Always thought Alpha would be dropping us off and we'd be walking from a random spot in the wilderness" he said.
Itaka smiled seeing the youngest of the Gria family hanging on to the mother's tail as they flew past "Well it's rare to see the Gria have a full momma and poppa family but yeah, apparently Montblanc is a genius but spinning tops are kinda fun, I don't know what fruit and veg toys you're getting at though Hebal" he said.
Zadina giggled "I don't know Miss Hebal you get a lot of sweets and cakes as a royal, people just give you them as gifts occasionally and then everyone sends stuff in if it's your birthday but you certainly do move a lot which is probably why your so slim" he said.
Barbaros shook his head "Nah keep your parts might need them to repair the ship sometime and my wife would probably kill me for giving the kids something else to tinker with and keep us up in the night" he said collapsing into the sofa.
