"Oh I assure you Orias, no harm it to befall any non-combative persons in my care. Rather simply I have a lot to give to those who are capable of sharing, and so I've come to start proclaiming such. If you're willing to take a risk and step outside of those boundries you follow then rejoice with me, tear away that collar and jump this fence. The only limitations are those set by yourself." KB answered Orias, turning his attention from the landed shuttle to the distant barrier. Whether or not he could see Orias' glare was uncertain, but KB winked all the same. He thought idly of Eden for a moment, and of the Garden his station harbored. Comparing it to the current scene made for quite the clash of style and ideals.

Of course none of this deterred KB from continuing his conversation with Ridith, save for the wink to Orias. KB continued to speak to the pilot, raising a brow at the craft as it landed mere feet away. Despite the heat roiling off the thing KB seemed unphased, and certainly still quite comfortable. "Always a pleasure to meet those hellbent on my destruction." he teased, chuckling softly as he waited for the craft to cool.

Orias thought over his time in the Citadel momentarily before sighing and slumping over.

"How do I go about it?"

Life in the Citadel had become dull, and he was tired of being looked at as disposable. The ice demon took a long exhale, the moisture in the air freezing as it escaped from his mouth until it dropped down and shattered on the ground.

"That Orias, is completely and entirely up to you. Bring me one worth mention, use that charm of yours... and if that fails, force. You'll not be alone, in due time one will be sent to aid you. One of my more ... confident, troops." Though KB spoke of Basaran, it was unlikely Orias would have any clue. Perhaps Mas had been watching the sensors lately and spotted the additions, but that was unlikely as well. In any case Orias had been given a task to do, one that put him in quite the dangerous position. Still, KB was sure that if things went sour ORias would manage his way back to his newfound allies.

*Having finally caught his breath fully, Eecheb would again look out to Yuri and the Wolf. Things seemed to have calmed down now, so it was time to make himself scarce. Looking briefly around the lobby, Eecheb would make a B-line for the elevator. He was a mess after smacking into to things randomly for fun, like the others he'd need to have a quick wash and change of clothes. Once the elevator was finally there, the boy shuffled in and set about to getting to his room, two floors above the cafeteria*

Yuri sighed softly as the wolf refused to hand over the stick at the moment, busy gnawing away at it. Yuri paused for a moment before taking a seat on the ground as he watched the wolf, cloak still all around him as he sat there. He wondered how long the wolf would take before he was done playing with the stick, having nothing better to do at the moment than wait...

*Finally the wolf was done with the stick and tossed the rather mangled pulp like remains to the man with the strange cloak. Hopefully there was something that could take the abuse from a game of fetch. Watching and waiting, the wolf contently laid there with his tail wagging and his head resting on the ground.*

The inhabitant of the shuttle would remain silent for a moment before sighing softly, a habit he had picked up during his time in space. The heat having dispersed, a side hatch would materialize on the white surface of the vessel and slide open, giving way as Ridith Mk.2 emerged, an exact duplicate of Ridith in everyway. Smiling slightly as he observed KB he shook his head slowly. "I'm afraid I must dissapoint then, as I no desire to destroy you. Yet." He smiled as he walked over, extending a hand in greeting to KB. "A pleasure to meet the one who claims dominance over space. Tell me, are you simply arrogant or do you think you can back up your threats?" How KB would react to this question would tell him a lot about the other man and give him information on how to proceed...

Yuri smiled softly, his cloak having fallen back in surrender to the wolf's grip on the stick. "Hm, it would seem I need to find a stronger stick..." he said with a small laugh, before looking over at a nearby building. His cloak suddenly lashed out at the building and a cloud of dust shot out from the piercing blow, before pulling back to Yuri a moment later. A steel pipe now rested in the cloak's grip as Yuri smiled. "Now, let's try this again. Fetch!!" he said as he threw the steel pipe with a quick toss, the pipe twirling in the air as it arced up before heading back down towards the ground...

"What's one without the other?" KB answered the question with his own, a sure sign that he was confident. Perhaps it was simple arrogance, though Ridith had landed his vessel next to a dormant mecha and over 4000 waiting troops of humanoid and larger insectoid designs. A few other notable figures in the army stood out amongst the others, smaller than the MS but qualifying as a smaller version of mecha. Growlers and Goliaths, among the massive ONION and other amusing toys.

He would of course take Ridith's hand with his right, the leatherbound glove grasping firmly with only a slight shake. "A pleasure." He added respectfully, the insectoid drone behind him swivelling the top half of it's body about. There five lenses all shifted to lock onto Ridith, a little beeping and clicking sound being made by the drone as it turned about it's bottom half. The four large spearlike legs pierced the earth as it lumbered about to be lined up properly.

At somewhere around thirteen feet in height, the thing seemed to have a curious personality that wasn't befitting of it's form. Especially with four cannons ominously jutting forwards.

*Having made it back to his room, Eecheb took a long shower. Now that he was refreshed and in a clean robe, food was the next priority. Oh glorious food! Since the boy was only two floors up from the cafeteria, he'd walk. Micha and Trilla were already there, having had the same idea as Eecheb. Hopefully over these past few months, their eating habbits and etiquite had improved. Eecheb's wings would flex and re-adjust themselves as he wandered the hall down to the stairs*

*The wolf took off after the pipe as soon as the cloak brough its 'arm' forward. Watching as it fell to the ground, the wolf letting it bounce once before snatching it out of the air. There was a strange sound as teeth and steel collided, it wasn't the right sound for such an impact. One would expect that the bone would give before metal but that didn't seem to be the case. Shifting the pipe so it was balanced slighting in his jaws, the wolf brought the pipe back and dropped it at Yuri's feet. If anyone was looking close enough, the pipe had a number of scratches and little dents in it from the wolf's teeth. The wolf looked egar for the next throw of the 'stick' and was clearly enjoying himself.*

Orias' eyes began to glow as his frustration heightened. He didn't know what he was supposed to do.

"The bloody hell are you going on about, KB?"

He was getting fed up, and he began to tap his foot with impatience.

Orias' limitations were beginning to become equally annoying, though KB still held his charma nd grace in the face of such torment. After all, Orias was invaluable to KB as both a messenger and much more. So it was that KB spoke up to Orias again, all chipper like.

"Hmm. Orias, don't worry about any of that for now. For now I'd like for you to relay a simple message to everyone you meet, something my promotional committee whipped up. It's an invitation to an event I plan on hosting, and naturally you are invited. It goings a little something like this: '-Name-, on behalf of KB and the residing crew of the Cradle, you are cordially invited to the first anual Sea of Stars Gala abord the recently completed star-station the Cradle. Formal dress, black tie and dress, and you are welcome to bring a date to suit.' I trust that it should be rather easy to remember, and of course there's the fact about the Grave. It's a keep not far from here that acts as the main traffic between the surface and my station, should have no trouble finding it... I do hope that you and others will show interest."

KB had recited the invitation smoothly and clearly, and now awaited Orias' opinion. Whether or not the demon had an appreciation for finer things KB knew not, but it was worth a try. If nothing else perhaps Cole would be interested in a visit.

*By this time all of the children were gathered in the cafeteria, and nibbling on something or other. They'd take their time getting what ever it was that they desired. Soon after it would be time to sleep, so stretching out every last minute they could before bed was the plan. Nana was also back in the building now, and shuffling about in the bedroom around the standing closet. It looked like she was putting something away, and folding a few things. Looking over to an empty space by the piano, Nana seemed to have something stiring in her mind, it was written on her face. What ever it was that she was thinking about could wait until morning though*

It had been a hard training session, but Thanatos had again proved his worth by withstanding multiple hits from Sho's Rekkuzan. Thanatos had also developed an interest in what Sho called his family's technique. Having wiped the sweat off his head, Than had decided to return to the tower for the first time in weeks, and he was going to the cafeteria.

Mastema's current whereabouts in the citadel were unknown.

Finally, he'd caught up with his maniacal brethren: Proto slowly landed on a rooftop, just several meters from the overbearing blackness that was the fifth Vanguard unit. With a quiet hiss of its mechanics, the 8 foot tall monster turned to look at the prototype. The single, red eye on its black body perhaps even enough to unnerve Proto a little. With a slender but beyond belief sturdy body, V5 turned half way toward Proto. There were no discernable armaments on the body of the unit, though there was an odd pattern on the unit's chest. On its back were two extending support rods that each docked five beam like appendices, which were equipped with boosters that gave V5 unparalled agility. The purpose of its design was unknown; the other 4 Vanguard units were designed for long range, suppressive fire, agility, and support respectively, so it was unknown what area the fifth was meant to cover. Silence passed for a moment before V5 turned and looked back to the sky. Soon enough, a deep, malevolant, and somewhat raspy voice came from the unit. "I can see it...... the beginning and the end of all........ can't you see it too?" It was a strange statement, which was followed by the thing pointing to the sky with a finger. "It's right there...... it's coming...... it can't be stopped."

Proto, utterly confused by its fellow unit, looked to wear the Vanguard was pointing. No sooner had Proto begun to try and focus the blurr caused by the barrier than the boosters thrusted the Vanguard unit to destination unknown, before Proto could even see it. The rate of V5's acceleration and top speed were something to be feared. V5 gone, Proto continued looking where it had pointed. As he did, an indescribable 'chill' started to surge through Proto.

He couldn't see anything. But as Vanguard 5 had said......... it was coming......

*The children were spread out at different tables in the cafeteria, all nibbling away at their prefured meals. It had been some time since the children had seen their eldest brother Thanatos. It would probably bring a smile to at least two of their faces. Eecheb and Trilla would yawn a few seconds appart as they finished their before bed snacks, Micha would look about the same as usual*

Micha: . . .

Trilla: ^.^

Eecheb: ~_~
