Seph nodded her head turning her face to show only a slight burn "Yeah I'm fine managed to warp away most of the damage but can't rely on that one too many times" she answered casting haste upon herself and Itaka "So which side do you want the left or the right" she asked planning to launch a meteror attack the moment Arian had been lured towards the edge of his barrier. In the mean time she to the sky and dived towards her target slicing her claws into his shoulders as she passed choosing to avoid the blade. She turned around preparing for her return journey and attack.
Alpha shook his head "There are multiple gods and powerful beings in the world with the element fire and no Ifrit is no relative of mine. According to the story books one of the demon god Argosax created fire demons from bombs out of boredom. That and he quite liked the idea of having a hoard of minions"
Hebal grinned ruffling both Zadina and Satoshi's hair "Have a little faith, everyone has to start somewhere Satoshi and you never know... one day you might be more famous for your art than your dresses" she cherrfully told her as she walked past the doorman out the arena. "Well ok if I go down in history for that I guess I can live with it. I wonder what your uncle will be most famous for in text books..... he was in the demon wars right?"

Felina quietly laughed snuggling up to Oassu "Yeah you've done a good job considering your background, Udoaver too since its almost always noblemen who get to bag themselves a princess or a foreign ruler in a desperate attempt to patch up failing alliences. You'll get to meet the normal family members soon enough since they only ever come to the palace at the dragon festival because other times they be working all day"
Satoshi groaned fixing up her hair "We'll see what happens but I'm not quitting being a ninja to start a business while I'm still travelling around and about. Though it will be nice to have more time to just sit and paint for a few hours at a time on the hills just outside the village" she sighed thaking the staff as they opened the door for them "Pretty sure Elorin was ruler in the war so he's most definitely going to be remembered for that"

Oassu smirked "Yeah but I think I'm a bit of a rarer prince that him but what do you mean normal family members? Nobles and the like?" he asked slightly confused "Or do you mean folks with no royal priveliges? Seems kinda harsh to them" he muttered
Gil smiled "Well you can do that during the dragon festival and I'll come and keep you company we'll make a picnic out of it" he said happily whistling to Enkidu to keep up "Enkidu likes big hills anyway he would roll down them and stuff while we travelled" he said petting the fiend
Arian chuckled noting the scratches on his shoulder armour before parrying Itaka's attacks and waving a flaming fist at him to drive him back before waving his hand above his head horizontally causing a roof of fire to extend towards Seph forcing her to fly low or be scorched "Your aerial tricks aren't enough to deal with me!" he said turning around to clash with Itaka as he renewed his attack but deflecting Itaka's blade easily though the follow up attack clanged useless off of his gauntlet which Itaka then used to swipe Arian with a backhand blow to knock him back "Just whatever works, I'm not really confident I can take this guy one on one after our match..." he said
Barbaros chuckled "I see guess bombs aren't exactly controllable, though if I remember a while back it was suspected the demon king could command them to an extent since there was a bunch of coordinated fiend attacks on cities" he said scratching his head "Still guess a demon is better than a bomb are there loads of Demon gods?" he asked dreading the thought of ever encountering one.
Zadina shook his head as he fixed his hair "I'm afraid I'm not sure, the demon wars were before my time but I don't think my uncle was commanding then...I never really asked much about that, no one really likes talking about that war anymore anyway" he said wishing he'd paid more attention in history.

Seph hesitated swooping back down while Arian was preoccupied with Itaka and forced him further towards the corners of the barrier when her blade collided with the back of his chest plate "Just do what you can and worst case scenario, I think I have a fire extinguisher somewhere in that bag" she smirked taking the opportunity to launch a comet spell straight into Arian now that she had restricted his movements.
Alpha shrugged "Who knows for sure, they may not age but demon gods still bleed if you can make a good enough attack against them. Wouldn't have seen one in the demon wars working with the king for they have no interest in war or territory. So long as theres chaos floating about they are more than happy to laze about keeping their heads down. Wouldn't be surprised if one of the demon gods encouraged the demon king either" he pondered.
Hebal smiled skipping down the steps two at a time "Never mind, he would have been alive at least then being the old guy your uncle is. Viera don't talk that much about the war either though we didn't get involved or have any reason to until about halfway through when they started burning our forests down. Oh though if you guys want we'll dash off to the hotel and meet you at the airship since we all have stuff to pick up before leaving" she added remembering her spear was still in the hotel room.

"The latter" Felina answered laying Cid down upon her lap. "My mother's family aren't royalty and thus her older sisters kids have no royal power or status. In fact last time I spoke to them one was waitressing in a cafe and the other was training up to be a florist. Only the relatives on my fathers side are nobles"
Satoshi smiled back "Wouldn't you get bored just sitting around with nothing to do while I painted. I just like the place because theres so many miles of open fields and green hills that make a great view" she told him thinking that art wasn't really a spectator activity. "Don't worry, its not really something that we talk about in our village either. It just interests me a little or rather demons in general do because they come in so many different shapes and sizes. It would be nice to try drawing some but theres no way I'm feeding Alpha's ego and Seph might think its a right odd request if I ask her"

Oassu nodded thinking it was somewhat unfair "I suppose it would be crazy if everyone extended from the royal family got riches but there's not that many on your father's side is there? Zadina would've mentioned his other cousins I imagine" he said
Gil shrugged "I could have a picnic or just join Enkidu in rolling down the hill" he chuckled "Could play frisbee and stuff even have a barbeque if you wanted to go painting" he said stretching now they were out in the open "Still we need to hit our cabin as well, my helmet is still back there" he said
Arian cackled "You fools! You think that will be able to defeat the mighty Arian! Knight Lord of the Flame!" he said as a red amethyst stone embedded in his gauntlet armour began to glow moments before the comet collided with him exploding and leaving small flaming chunks of rock along the ground. Arian remained standing his face now a grinning contortion of flame beneath his armour, the plume on his helmet alive with fire as he gripped his sword now permanently aflame "Well then let us see if that strength is all you can muster" he said swinging his sword wildly sending pillars of flame now the flame corridor towards Seph and Itaka with every swipe.
Itaka grunted "Geez he must've been holding back even when he beat me if he can pull a trick like that" he said digging his sword into the ground and ducking behind it to avoid the waves of fire sent towards him.
Barbaros grinned scratching his chin "Weird thinking how that fella might even have a master, hope one of them doesn't really want to cause chaos in this world as I can't imagine someone wanting to encourage the war back then and just chilling back like they had nothing to do with it" he said
Zadina nodded "Yes Miss Hebal let's go get our stuff then though I think Miss Seph wouldn't mind being painted and it would make a nice present for Cap'n Alpha's birthday if you ever did want to paint them though you must also remember there is just as much variation in this world's forms and things so we don't lose out totally to the demon world for example to this day I've never met a Seeq in person." he said

Seph groaned concentrating a stop spell on the flames which were directly in front of them. allowing the rest to pass by her leaving her with room to move when the effect would wear off "Well there is this fire demon that I know who would be rolling around on the floor laughing by now if he heared you calling yourself lord of the flame" she growled back as she moved closer to Itaka "And perhaps he had a little assistance from an item or two. It's times like this I wish I could still cast black magic" she muttered with a small sigh. "But I have learned this little trick which should become a bit of a pain later" she added before rushing forward dodging what was left of the flames. Instead of focusing her energy upon her blade her claws began to glow red preparing for the punch that followed. The move didn't cause much damage, merly made a few small holes in the weaker part of the armour but was enough for her Bleed spell to work. "Ow ow ow ok not doing that one again" she shuddered looking down at her burned hand as she retreated.
Alpha chuckled "Gods get bored very easily, especially those with a mischevous streak about them. But many of the demon gods are also cowards as they are afraid of being killed since according to the legends they were indestructable at one point in time. Also loads of people will go a long way for a taste of poewer but don't worry. They are all worlds away from this place and none have been reported to have been spotted in the demon world for over half a millennium"
Hebal nodded scooping up Zadina onto his shoulders "Even viera some in loads of different sizes with different hair and fur colours. Some even have completely floppy ears apparently hehe. Personally I would be rather flattered if someone wanted to paint a picture of me. Hehe I've met seeq before, at first glance they seem incredibly rude but actually its just that they don't do small talk"

Felina shook her head "Just Zadina at the moment. My uncle hasn't been seen in so many years that hes been assumed dead and Kurgan is now missing too. Mum on the other hand... I have like six cousins on that side but theres only two I see on a regular basis. The other ones I'm lucky to see every seventy years as they live so far away" she explained struggling to imagine just what some of her cousins looked like.
Satoshi snickered picturing Gil wrestling around in the grass with his pet "Sounds like a good plan so long as the family doesn't take up too much of our time. We should probably stick around when my aunt is expected to visit since I've not seen her in a while. But apart from that we can do whatever we fancy" she grinned glaning in the direction of her cabin. "Yep seeq are also a lot more out spoken in nature but they are alright people and I don't know, some people think your being a bit funny with them when you ask to draw them. Still I'll need to collect Terrato from the cabin too so I guess we'll see you guys back at the airship soon enough"

Oassu nodded "I guess that's just how it is, big family though" he said watching as the bus made another little stop with more people getting off allowing Jenna room to sit down in front of them "Will see about buying a big base for the guild when we're super rich Jenna" he said patting her on the shoulder
Jenna nodded "Would be nice to get established with, specially since the guild lost all it's money, we'd be more or less counting on whatever we brought back to get us set up in another city, though a nice palace would certainly be appreciated" she added nudging Oassu with her elbow.
Gil looked at Satoshi "Your aunt is coming round too? Looks like I get to meet a fair few of your family when I'm down though will they all be using code names like you do when I'm there?" he asked before waving to the others "Still we'll see you back at the airship guys" he said
Arian grunted watching as fire fell from the wound "Hmmph that won't be enough to stop me" he said spinning and lashing out a large fire wave in Seph's direction as she retreated for safety.
Seeing his chance Itaka pulled his sword out of the ground and rushed Arian who had turned his back on Itaka in favour of targeting Seph. Lunging forward Itaka plunged his sword into Arian's back causing more fire to drip from the wounds but Arian turned and punched Itaka away leaving a scorch on his cheek while the sword remained in his back "Stabbing me in the back, how cowardly." he remarked.
Barbaros shrugged "I guess that makes things ok then, kinda similar to the many gods in this world I guess though if I was as strong as them I wouldn't be so worried about being killed" he said watching as some drunk but happy Grian men left the bus.
Zadina gasped getting used to his new position "Ok Miss Satoshi we'll see you later at the airship!" he said waving to them "Though I quite like your half-floppy ear Miss Hebal it's kinda cute" he giggled picking the ear up and letting it flop down "They look kinda scary so I don't know what it'll be like when I first meet a Seeq." he said

Hebal smiled poking the ear in question "You'll be fine when you meet them I'll bet since almost all of them are perfectly friendly people. But do you really like that ear? Most people make fun of it in the village when my back is turned and Amane just liked it so much because she could play with it" she laughed flicking it up only for it to flop straight back down.
Alpha scratched his chin "Perhaps though if I was indestructable for many years then suddenly started bleeding and feeling pain then I would probably be worried like them too. Even gods can die eventually. On a lighter note there aren't many strong demons left lying around this place so you can sleep safe at night" he assured Barbaros as he watched the drunk. "Now if I wasn't having to fly I would be just like him right about now"
Seph moved back in using what little air space she had to fly over and around the firewaves. "But a proper warrior never turns his back because theres no set rules to this duel" she shrugged pushing the sword further into Arian's back before having to yank it out and hand it back to Itaka.

Felina frowned "You wouldn't have much luck getting a palace but you could easily get yourselves a jumbo mansion hotel size all to yourselves and a few servants if wanted But not all that soon" she added in trying not to shudder at the thought of her money being used to finance such groups.
Satoshi shook her head watching Hebal and Zadina moving away for a moment "When you get to the village you will be expected to sign a document saying that you have no intention of sharing any secrets. That includes actual names since code names are only used when elsewhere. Meaning if you wanted you could call me Nadira all day long and nobody would give you funny looks"

Jenna laughed "Haha well a mansion or palace is waaaaay to conspicuous for a thieves guild's base no a city house would do fine don't worry your head princess I'm not going to take all your money" she said with a smirk.
Oassu rolled his eyes "Well course not I got no intentions for Felina to pay for any of that stuff, I'll cover it myself where I can, after all being amongst the nobility is going to provide me plenty of opportunities to steal from them that way Felina doesn't get involved" he said.
Gil smiled "Good I like your name anyway it's pretty though should I also keep my mouth shut about Oassu? They won't try and hunt him down and make him work for them if they know there's another unaligned ninja out there will they?" he asked
Zadina giggled "Yeah it is quite fun to play with I think though I don't see why people would make fun of you for it" he said playing with the floppy ear himself "It's a cute little feature of you but lets hurry to the hotel, don't want to keep Cap'n Alpha waiting too long" he said.
Arian grunted rubbing his back where he had been stabbed "Well if there's no need to obey rules then there's nothing to prevent me doing this! Meet you end worms!" he cried as he extended his arms and caused the fiery walls forming their battleground to close in on them all.
Itaka grunted "Well that's going to sting if it hits" he said picking up the sword again "Wasn't geared up for a battle tonight, any ideas?" he asked turning to Seph hopefully preparing to tackle Arian if they couldn't escape.
Barbaros chuckled "Hey you already had a couple of drinks earlier still good to know none of the big bad demons from the fairytales is still around to terrorise little ones and the like" he said "War stories are the source of most of those fairytales I hear." he added.

Seph bit her lip focusing as she cast a stop spell upon the flames ending the movement "Well that should buy us a little time, how much time is another matter altogether. And the options are we can either flee, if I have the mana I can prepare myself for that or use my last teleport crystal. Alternatively we can try and flood the area with fish scales" she whispered moving away further from the flames in case she needed to access her bag.
Hebal giggled skipping out the arena "Well wait until theres a bit more space about before I start jumping around and I doubt we're gonna be the last ones home. Wouldn't wanna land and make people go splat now would we" she tutted having to push her way thorugh one of the bus queues unwilling to move to let people past. "Apparently floppy ears are like a rare genetic thing but people will laugh at anything not what they see as normal. Should see how cute the floppy eared viera are sometime"
Alpha sighed "Yeah I had a couple of drinks but am currently sobering up for the flight not that I got myself drnk or anything earlier. But if you want my advice, don't listen to any of the war stories coming from the shorter life span species. Over the generations they have become somewhat more exaggerated to make us all look as bad as possible. Most don't even know the conscriptions laws that were in place"

Felina laughed nervously "ok then if you say so" she muttered thinking to herself that the latter idea was even worse. "Could always just have a small normal lookign city house and then build your base directly underneith it with a trap door entrence oe something like that. Or if get really wealthy one of those secret enterences you read about"
Satoshi smiled back turning Itaka down one of the rows of cabins leading to their own "Sounds like some people are having a battle now that they didn't get to have during the arena" she commented moving in a different direction to the noise. "But that is a good idea too. If you mention Oassu they will probably demand that I lure him back here to be enlisted. Independent ninjas are heavily frowned upon back home you see meaning he's just a thief if so much as a family member asks"

Jenna nodded "Yeah that's probably what we'll do little regular house though with the right money a secret entrance wouldn't go amiss" she said scratching her chin in though "Though relax it's not like anything is going to come back to you" she said
Oassu frowned cuddling Felina "Is something wrong? You know I wouldn't link you to crime if I had to do it, but the guild is gone I need to ensure we get going and start up again once Jenna finds a new place to relocate" he said
Gil chuckled "Probably some drunk contenders having an argument but got it I'll keep my mouth shut about Oassu, don't want him getting lifted though I doubt you could lure him away when he's got so many things he needs to do right now" he said
Itaka grunted ducking down as the flame seared his shoulder "I don't know, would the fish scale produce enough water? He might put out more fire to counter it and where would the teleport stone take us to?" he said not really wanting to flee.
Suddenly a dark shockwave cut through the flame wall before breaking on Arian's back knocking him out of his fire form with a stagger as the fire in the area disappeared leaving nothing but the faint smell of smoke in the air as a drunk Mari rounded the corner with her sword drawn "Heeeeey Itaka and Seeeeph" she said happily as she swayed her way towards them as a small crowd of people from her village including her brother rounded the corner with her happily "Lord Arian, please don't attack my friends like that, it's not very nice *hic*" she scolded him lightly as she passed moving over to Seph and Itaka and giving them both a hug as her crowd also gathered round passing by Arian one randomly patting him on the back as they passed while another placed a beer in Itaka and Seph's hand "Hey guys I've just been out celebrating with my friends and family, they came to see me" she giggled as she hugged them.
Arian grimaced as the group flocked in front of him none really paying attention to him except for one old woman who looked admiringly at him moving away from them he grumbled "I cannot fight so many innocents and Lady Mari, you'll live for today knave" before pulling out his own teleport stone and disappearing in a purple glimmer.
Zadina gasped "No no stop stop Miss Hebal!" he said resisting the temptation to use her ears as reigns and pull her to a stop "We forgot to give Miss Mari her trophy and prize!" he said concerned while idly playing with Hebal's ears "Though I bet the floppy eared Viera are super cute since your one ear is mega cute" he said.
Barbaros chuckled "Yeah I'll bet though many elves and dwarves from that time period are still around and most fairytales and scary stories are best on your supposed abilities back then though probably twisted a little as a result of time and forgetfulness" he said
