"Oh I see. I was asking because I had never seen kids who could turn to wolves before." She looked at each one of them for a brief moment and then looked foward as she walked on.

"So, does any of you have any other questions for me?" Asking questions was keeping their attention and that way they wouldn't start barking again nor run around a whole lot. Or so she hoped.

They began to play a game where they jumped over one another in turnes as they talked.

"Questions? hmmmm"

"Where are you from? How was your family killed? how did you survive? Why are pees so small when they have that huge sheaf thing>? why not have one large pea? Why do humans insist on pygamas? they feel so wierd. and..."

there were a steady stream of questions.

Cedric turned his head to the speaker, "My work caused me to burn certain metalworks to the ground. The scent seems rather keen to stick to my flesh, even after I bathe." Cedric did not seem overly happy, but he was still welcoming. "I have seen you around here, but we have never really spoken. So busy am I with thworting wayward plans and evil doings that I cannot even be accustom to tose that live alongside me... How are you?" Cedric asked casually.

Delaney holded her head. She should of known that they would start being all energetic again. She couldn't help herself from chuckling though. She found them cute.

"Slow down and let me answer. I'm from a place that not many know of. My house was built on a small island called "Windchill" far away from civilization. The island is located in what most know as "The Great Unknown". My family-"

She paused and looked at them all. "They died in a fire created by someone. I'm not sure who it was yet but I will find out.. I survived because I wasn't home that night. I was out in the woods at the back of our home playing.

Her head went low. "When I saw the house on fire I ran towards my home only to see my parents killed. To my luck the person who killed them didn't see me and left. I spent that night crying all alone as the ashes of our house were blown away in the wind."

Then she looked at the kids again and smile. "As for the peas... I don't know. It's quite silly really."

Adso nodded in udnerstaning... although he had no idea why one would need to burn down a metleworks. H ecame in and sat hismself crosslegged from the floor.

"that is fine, my mates and I don't often come out of the training area. I am well fed and fit. I am good. Yourself?" He paused for a moment. "I believe your name is cedric?"

"It is good to hear that you are doing well. Yes, I am Cedric." The elf bowed his head, "Its a pleasure to meet you. Though, I am afraid I do not know who you are."

Adso bowed his head in turn. " I am Adso." he gave a series of Greolwes and yips. "that is my pac name."

"Why was it neccesary to burn down this metalworks?"
PostPosted: Sat Nov 25, 2006 10:43 pm

"Hello Adso, you look much like your kin, I will try to remember which one you are, but I am making no promises." Cedric smiled, he'd probably be able to pick him out of some very close twins, if not clones. "It was necessary to cripple the infrastructure of nearby foes. The energies Elric, my kin, and I expanded to do so would ensure that in the near future, the Orcs cannot march so readily armed and armoured. Thus, Meilikki's Purian allies are relitively safe from attack, less their enemies chose to return to sticks and stones." The elf shrugged.

"Are you related to Eliot?"

"i see" they had been trained well by Roarke.

'Eliot and I are of two different packs, but I consider her as part of my family." he pointed to cedrics arm interestigly. "I have never seen an arm such as yours before. what is it?"
PostPosted: Sat Nov 25, 2006 11:04 pm

"This arm was grafted to my body to prevent my arm from roting. It is allowing the flesh to heal in my elfish way, and lets me use the limb as I have always done. In effect, it is why I am not bedd ridden, as my left leg is also covered." He smiled, but put a glove on the metalic hand. "It is not something for all to see, so if you would mind keeping it a relative secret or rumor only, I would much be obliged." Cedric chuckled sofetly, not really caring if the whole world knew he wore an automail right arm and left leg. Its not like it hindered him, much.

"You kind is very common in this area, I wonder if the surface world here was once a forest or temprate zone." The elf mused, citing words from the descriptions of the lands now long since extinct.

Cahan smiled, "I think that is best left as a story for another time sir, for now I think that you have guests." Cahan said as he pointed his finger towards a human servant which was making there way, slowly, and with his head bowed towards the floor to the ground.

The humans words were short and to the point, "Master, there is an elf by the name of Warathion outside to see you, he says the matter is most urgent." This was all the human said before he scurried of to continue with his chores.

"And so the game begins", Cahan said with a smile.

"I suppose Deidrick probably wanted me to find you a place to live. Or something like that." He looked at the girl. "What was your name again?"

Kora's eyes shifted from Moonstone, to Rusty, and back to Moonstone again. She lowered her cup of coffee down to her chin.

"Me?" she tilted her head. "Ooh, my Name's Kora..." She then burried her face behind her coffee mug once more to take an other sip.

She thought the coffee was a little bitter, but, she was a beggar, not a chooser... anything that filled her tummy was welcomed!

Of course Sevilin would be filling Malik in on that little details and all others that he thought would be appropriate to tell the man. After all, as he had mentioned to Cahan, he had his own self and family to look out for. What could negatively affect Malik would come back to Sevilin in a round about not so nice way. His attention turned briefly to the human and then back to Malik and Cahan. "Games..."

She nodded and it made sense to her. After all, she found it interesting that a human would pick a crest for thier names. A bit like drow she supposed, not like surface elves who usually were very literal symbolic to a point. "Interesting thinking behind such a symbol. I'm afraid my family crest is straight to the point." Thus getting up and walking over to her own scabbard, drawing out her londsword and walking back to the table, laying the blade down for Galesen to see. Isle pointed to a symbol just above the crescent moon looking handguard and gold hilt, at the abse of the shiny mithril blade. "This is mine."

The symbol was simple it in's design, but elaborate in it's materials. A cloud shaped piece of amber was inlaid in the metal and below that or rather supposed to be dripping from it was a saffire water drop shape inlaid and inlaid in that gem was another piece of amber in the shap of a double tailed music note. From that dropped several other little tear shaped blue sapphires that were supposed to be other rain drops, those eventually getting smaller till about six inches down the blade to where they merely turned into etchings to the very tip of her sword. And a few words in elvish were etched as well into the metal among the little rainfall scene there. "I'm afraid it really has no meaning...just a name."

Though her attention turned back to Galesen. "Is that why you are training then? To learn to fight like an elf with all of your emotions, letting yourself be your blade and to feel the battle and such with all that you are?" That's how she fought...your emotions were critical in battle.

Arthur gave a light shrug towards Isle, he didn't care that her blade symbol was straight to the point everyone had their own ways going at it when creating their symbols. So he watched Isle quietly as she got up and drew her sword out of her scabbard, when Arthur's eye laid upon it he was really taken back by the beauty of the blade, the detail that was put into it was amazing. His eye moved slowly across the blade, taking in the form and what was placed onto it, the amber and sapphire can really draw a person's attention to it as it seems that whoever made this blade put a lot of thought and consideration for the user.

Though he looked back towards the elf when she asked him and question and he shrugged a little bit as he picked up his own sword by the scabbard before pulling it out with his right hand. "Well first Malik wanted me to be train to fight like an elf, but as time went on I started to put more heart into it and now since I am being trained by Sevilin in magic I can channel magic into my blade." As he was saying this Arthur was staring at his sword, the light in the room bounced off the mythril which made him grin lightly. "My emotions have always been in my battles, I was so hard for me to fight like my parents wanted me to. I really don't care I just fight with my heart until I win or cannot fight anymore." A small sigh as he pulled his katana close to him as he studied the blade. "I will never give this up, no matter what happens."

She nodded, running her fingers down the pristine blade of her sword some in almost affectionate gesture, then back up, running her fingers over the family crest befpre onto the gold hilt with it's silver handguard and then over the leather binding on the grip of the sword. She frowned lightly at it...her hilt grip needed to be rewrapped, the material starting to wear thin from use of the blade.

Another look over to Galesen as he drew his own and again that intrigued looked. Rather thin blade width wise in her observation of it. Would be quite interesting to see how it flowed in battle. "You'll know you're ready for battle when you can close your eyes." Well wasn't that a cryptic little piece from her? She had her moments. "And if you truely believe in your sword then it shall never fail you Galesen. It is the way of us elves...we're connected to things around us."
