"Why the hell would I trust someone like you? And why do you want me anyway?"
The ice demon was rather baffled as to why KB would want him of all people. As far as he knew, all of his allies were mechanical in one way or another. Orias on the other hand, was not. The cold references annoyed him more than anything, and if they continued, they would not help KB's cause in the least.

*Still interested in this black thing that had his legs, he followed it back toward Yuri, sniffing at it as he moved. This thing puzzled him and seemed to be made of cloth but cloth didn't stretch like that. It wouldn't take long before the wolf was very close to Yuri, who was quicking becoming a very interesting person. All the while, the wolf's tail was wagging at the newly discovered stuff. This is ofcourse assuming Yuri's cape doesn't start restricting movement much more.*

Yuri blinked as he watched the wolf for a few moments before sighing softly. He had accomplished his objective, what with detaching the wolf from his pursuit of the boy. And so long as the wolf remained interested in him, it would be fine either way. Releasing the binds around the wolf's legs, he let the cloak remain out in its extended state, so as to amuse the wolf further. A few stray strands of the cloak blew wistfully back and forth, almost as though the had a mind of their own...

*With his movement unrestricted, the wolf continued to follow the cloak and reached Yuri. There wasn't any hesitation as the wolf begain to sniff at the man with the stretchy cloak, paying alittle more attention to the moving parts of the cloak. Along with trying to figure out what this new person was, the wolf was also trying to figure out who Yuri had been around and where he had come from.*

"I have everything you want Orias, all you need to do is ask... as for my interest, well, let's just say you're in a position that could help me greatly. You see, there are certain objectives beyond my current reach... I'd like for you help me with those."
Entirely sure that his telepathic conversation was being monitored, KB would in addition to his message send a slight ebb of empathy. Specifically, nostalgia linked to a certain person. KB's fond memories of the idividual would be reflected by rousing Orias' own memories of said person.
Thusly, unless Mastema was specifically searching Orias' mind deeply, remotely, and unnoticeably, he'd have no idea of the one in question. That is, the only one Orias and KB had both met and shared some sort of experience with.
Though KB hadn't done so in person...

Having travelled up until recently, there would be little of any distinguishable scent on Yuri for the wolf to find. He might smell Eecheb from earlier or some more natural scents, but mostly only Yuri's scent was there. Yuri wondered if the wolf could tell he was vampiric, having been turned by Tyrsais only recently, simply through scent. He allowed the wolf to sniff him directly, not flinching or recoiling at all from the oversized wolf...

*The wolf did notice the vampiric nature but didn't really know what it was beyond the smell of death. This smell of death was different though, it wasn't as deeply seated into the skin or clothing as the 'other' person who had such a scent. Unsure what to make of this man with the moving cloth, Akai licked him, partially to see how he would react, and also because it was the first thing that came to the wolf to do. There hadn't been many encounters with people so manners hadn't been learned.*

Yuri on the other hand had little experience dealing with others himself, only his memories of his recent journey providing any background on how to deal with others. As the wolf licked him, he hesitated for a moment, a small trail of saliva sticking to him as he stood there. Finally he reached out slowly and patted the wolf on the head as you might a friendly dog. Other than that he continued to watch, wondering how the wolf would react to being touched...

*The wolf bowed his head down to make it easier to pat him on the head, seeming content with that little bit of attention for the moment. It was clear that there wasn't much of a threat from the wolf, even though his size was imposing to most. Sitting down next to the man of fresh death, the wolf nudged to cloak to see if it would move on its own again, still rather confused by the material.*

*Eecheb was still making his way around the tower at this point and was most of the way around. He'd probably be visible again within a few seconds. Hopefully the wolf wouldn't try to pounce him, as he'd now be facing the direction Eecheb was coming from. If only Yuri could hold the wolf's attention just a little longer--*

Yuri watched the wolf for a moment longer as he pat him, noticing him poking at his cloak in an effort to get it to move again. Smiling slightly, he raised his free hand up into the air, and a strand of the cloak rose up to greet it, floating in middair for a moment. "I don't know if you can understand me, but this is a technique I learned. By sending my will through the strands of my cloak I am able to manipulate them and extend them to my whims. Like so..." As he said the last part he had the strand begin to curl around so it formed a swirl in middair, moving first clockwise and then counterclockwise as he channeled it....

*The wolf watched Yuri until he heard Eecheb. Looking in the direction of the tower, the wolf laid down and wagged his tail, hoping what he felt was a good running friend would come back. When the cloak started swirling the wolf returned to paying attention to the movement, a slight twitch of his ears when Yuri spoke that almost seemed to show an understanding.*

Yuri smiled as the wolf seemed to show some understanding of what he said, even if it was just a false understanding it was kind of comforting. Feeling slightly upbeat now, he had a tendril of his cloak reach out and pick up a large stick, hefting it in front of the wolf for a moment. "Let's see if this works...." he muttered to himself as the cloak wound up for a moment. "Fetch!!" The stick was suddenly hurled by the cloak off along the roadway, away from Eecheb, drifting through the air lazily before it would inevitably hit the ground.....

*The wolf didn't hesitate to take off after the stick. This was a new concept to him but he did understand spoken words more than he let on. It wouldn't take long before the wolf caught up to the stick, almost making it before the stick hit the ground. When the stick hit the ground and bounced back up, he caught it in his mouth and slowed to a stop alittle beyond that. Shifting how the big stick sat in his mouth, the wolf started to walk back to Yuri. When he got about half way back, the wolf plopped down on the ground and started chewing on the stick, not biting hard enough to break it but he did leave marks with his teeth.*
